The next research that the individual globe plan and development actual condition actual proof and the research which it analyzes system is necessary with base, sees the general operation evaluation of Seoul District unit plan.

Application of upflow multi-layer bioreactor (UMBR) for domestic wastewater treatment in HCMC

  • Up-flow multi-layer bioreactor (UMBR) is a hybrid system using dual sludge that consists of an up-flow multi-layer bioreactor as anaerobic/anoxic suspended growth microorganisms followed by an aeration tank. The UMBR acts as a primary settling tank, anaerobic/anoxic reactor, thickener which requires low energy due to mixing by up-flow stream. This study focused on using a pilot UMBR plant with capacity of 20-30 $m^3$/day for domestic wastewater in HCMC. HRTs of UMBR and aeration tank were 4.8 h and 7.2 h, respectively. The average MLSS of UMBR ranged from 10,000-13,600 mg/l SS. Internal recycle rate and sludge return were 200-300% and 150-200%, respectively. The results obtained from this study at flow rate of 20 $m^3$/day showed that removal of COD, SS, TKN, N-$NH_4$, T-N, and color were 91%, 87%, 86%, 80%, 91% and 91%, respectively.

  • Objective: This study aimed to examine the dual mediating effects of preschoolers' emotional temperament and emotion regulation in the relationship between maternal emotional expression and preschoolers' behavior problems. Methods: The participants included 167 preschoolers and their mothers from Daegu city and Gyeonsang province. The mothers completed questionnaires regarding their own emotional expression, children's temperament, emotion regulation, and behavior problems. Results: The primary results of this study were as follows. First, there were significant correlations among maternal emotional expression, preschoolers' emotional temperament, emotion regulation, and problem behaviors. Second, maternal emotional expression had an indirect effect on preschoolers' behavior problems through preschoolers' emotional temperament and emotion regulation. Conclusion: This study revealed that maternal negative emotional expression and preschoolers' temperament and emotion regulation need to be considered simultaneously to explain the level of preschoolers' behavior problems. More specifically, the results highlight the dual mediating effects of preschoolers' temperament and emotion regulation in the relationship between maternal negative emotional expression and preschoolers' behavior problems.

하수처리수를 활용한 중수도의 도입방안 연구 (A study on the device introduction of wastewater reclamation system a treated sewage)

  • After studying several methods of the application a device of a treated sewage in anticipation of the future shortage of the duty of water, we could have some conclusion as the following : Advanced treatment systems arc essential prerequisites in reusing a treated sewage. And in a short term, the application of reusing a treated sewage should go first to new building areas near the sewage but for the long run, it should cover the whole area of Taegu, it is desirable that the pipe line networks which include dual water systems as well as water supply should be spread throughout the whole city. The city authorities have to make every effort to step up publicity activities on this plan to all the citizens and building owners to steadily carry out this project and encourage private constructors to participate with the help of SOC. And for the long run, it is desirable that the application of reusing a treated sewage should be obligatory.

  • 세계 각국은 새로운 유비쿼터스 환경변화에 맞추어 전략적 차원에서 u-IT에 대한 연구와 다양한 프로젝트를 추진 중이다. 특히 유비쿼터스를 지역수준으로 적용 시 지역 구성원들의 삶의 질이 향상되고 편익을 직접적으로 체감할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경의 중심 기술 중 하나인 RFID는 대역별로 다른 특징을 가지고 있어 단일 대역 RFID는 제약조건이 있으며, 이를 극복하고 보다 입체적인 정보와 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 여러 대역의 RFID를 통합하는 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 새로운 u-City 서비스 모델로써 u-Zone 서비스 구축 시에 필요한 13.56MHz와 2.45GHz 주파수 대역의 듀얼밴드 RFID Manager를 개발한다. RFID Manager는 u-Zone 서비스의 임베디드 하드웨어인 Base Station에 탑재하는 응용 소프트웨어로서 리더에서 입력되는 정보를 u-Zone 통합 서버 시스템에 전달하는 역할을 한다.

직류 마이크로 할로우 음극 방전을 이용한 이단 마이크로 플라즈마 추력기의 배기 플룸의 형상 특성 (Shape Characteristics of Exhaust Plume of Dual-Stage Plasma Thruster using Direct-Current Micro-Hollow Cathode Discharge)

  • 이단 마이크로 할로우 음극 방전(MHCD) 플라즈마를 사용하는 마이크로 플라즈마 추력기(${\mu}PT$)에 대한 실험 연구가 수행되었다. 40 sccm의 아르곤 유량과 10 W 미만의 전력으로 보다 더 직진성 있고 긴 침투 길이를 가진 배기 플룸을 만드는 정전기적 가속이 이단 MHCD에 의해 발생되었다. 전압-전류 특성에서는 이단 운전 시 두 번째 단의 가속 전압이 일정하게 되는 최적 영역이 있음을 보였다. 추정된 배기 플룸의 길이가 가속 전압으로 추산된 이론적 배출 속도와 비슷한 증가 경향을 보였다. 다중 채널을 가진 마이크로 플라즈마 추력기는 동일한 총 전력량에 대하여 단일 채널 추력기와 비슷한 특성을 보여, 이는 채널 당 허용 전력량을 낮춰 전체 전력량을 높일 수 있음을 의미한다. 아르곤 원자 분광선의 볼츠만 그래프에서 배기 플룸의 평균 전자 여기 온도는 약 2.6 eV(=약 30,170 K)임이 확인되었다.

  • 비정형격자 기반의 수치해석모형을 이용하여 지하공간침수해석모형을 개발하였다. 본 모형은 지하공간의 흐름 특성을 link-node 시스템에 의해 해석하고, 계단 및 벽구조물 등의 지하공간 구조물 배치 영향을 고려한 침수해석을 수행할 수 있다. 흐름은 두가지로 구분하며, 하나는 두 개의 인접한 격자가 지하공간에서의 지하철 노선에 해당되어 수로형 흐름을 나타내는 경우이고, 다른 하나는 지하공간에서의 지하철 노선 이외의 지점 및 지하상가 등으로 물이 확산되는 위어형 흐름인 경우이다. ArcGIS 시스템의 Visual Basic Application을 이용하여 Dual-Drainage 침수해석 모형과 지하공간침수해석 모형이 통합하였다. 개발된 통합모형은 홍수관계기관이 침수 발생이 예상되는 지점에서 홍수피해 방지를 위해 배수시스템의 용량에 대한 재설계 흑은 확장 등과 같은 대책을 수립하는데 도움을 줄 수 있고, 침수위험지도작성 및 홍수경감대책을 수립하는데 이용될 수 있다.

도시 소유역 내 내수침수 위험도 평가 : 강우 시간분포 및 이중배수체계 모형을 중심으로 (Risk assessment for inland flooding in a small urban catchment : Focusing on the temporal distribution of rainfall and dual drainage model)

  • In this study, dual drainage system based runoff model was established for W-drainage area in G-si, and considering the various rainfall characteristics determined using Huff and Mononobe methods, the degree of flooding in the target area was analyzed and the risk was compared and analyzed through the risk matrix method. As a result, the Monobe method compared to the Huff method was analyzed to be suitable analysis for flooding of recent heavy rain, and the validity of the dynamic risk assessment considering the weight of the occurrence probability as the return period was verified through the risk matrix-based analysis. However, since the definition and estimating criteria of the flood risk matrix proposed in this study are based on the return period for extreme rainfall and the depth of flooding according to the results of applying the dual drainage model, there is a limitation in that it is difficult to consider the main factors which are direct impact on inland flooding such as city maintenance and life protection functions. In the future, if various factors affecting inland flood damage are reflected in addition to the amount of flood damage, the flood risk matrix concept proposed in this study can be used as basic information for preparation and prevention of inland flooding, as well as it is judged that it can be considered as a major evaluation item in the selection of the priority management area for sewage maintenance for countermeasures against inland flooding.

Euro 2 기준 LNG-경유 혼소엔진의 배출가스 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Emission Characteristics of LNG-diesel Dual-fuel Engine for Euro 2 Standard)

  • 대형 디젤엔진은 주행거리가 길고 배기량이 크기 때문에 차량의 대수는 상대적으로 적지만 대기환경에 미치는 영향은 크다. 시내를 주행하는 시내버스의 경우 한일 월드컵을 계기로 CNG 버스로 전환되었다. 그러나 대형트럭과 장거리 시외버스의 경우 주행거리가 길고 CNG 충전소가 대도시의 시내버스 차고지 위주로 설치되어 있어 이용이 불가능하였다. 단열용기의 적용으로 천연가스를 압축상태가 아닌 액체 상태로 보관이 가능해져 주행거리가 긴 대형트럭이나 장거리 시외버스로의 적용이 가능해졌으며, 혼소엔진의 경우 LNG 충전이 어려운 지역에서는 디젤로 운행이 가능하다. 이와 같은 장점으로 인하여 석유 의존도를 크게 낮출 수 있어 에너지원의 다변화가 가능하며, 디젤차의 고질적인 단점으로 여겨왔던 매연 및 질소산화물뿐만 아니라 저탄소 연료를 사용함으로서 대표적인 온실가스중의 하나인 이산화탄소도 10%이상 저감할 수 있었다.

Response transformation factors and hysteretic energy distribution of reinforced concrete braced frames

  • Most of existing buildings in Mexico City are made of reinforced concrete (RC), however, it has been shown that they are very susceptible to narrow-band long duration ground motions. In recent years, the use of dual systems composed by Buckling Restrained Braces (BRB) has increased due to its high energy dissipation capacity under reversible cyclical loads. Therefore, in this work the behavior of RC buildings with BRB is studied in order to know their performance, specifically, the energy distribution through height and response transformation factors between the RC and simplified systems are estimated. For this propose, seven RC buildings with different heights were designed according to the Mexico City Seismic Design Provisions (MCSDP), in addition, equivalent single degree of freedom (SDOF) systems were obtained. Incremental dynamic analyses on the buildings under 30 narrow-band ground motions in order to compute the relationship between normalized hysteretic energy, maximum inter-story drift and roof displacement demands were performed. The results shown that the entire structural frames participate in energy dissipation and their distribution is independent of the global ductility. The results let propose energy distribution equations through height. Finally, response transformation factors between the SDOF and multi degree of freedom (MDOF) systems were developed aimed to propose a new energy-based approach of BRB reinforced concrete buildings.
