암모니아 추가 주입에 의한 배열회수보일러 급수의 수소이온농도 조절 (pH Control of Feed Water for HRSG with Additional Injection of NH3)

  • 탈기기-저압드럼 일체형 배열회수보일러로 구성된 복합화력발전소에서 발생한 저압증기발생기의 튜브파손 사례를 관찰하였다. 수소이온농도 변화를 관찰한 결과 복수펌프 후단에 주입된 암모니아가 탈기기를 통과한 후 저압 드럼 내에서 암모니아 분배율에 따라 증기와 함께 다량의 암모니아가 소모되어 급수 내 수소이온농도 저하를 확인하였다. 이를 해결하기 위해 저압드럼 내에 암모니아를 직접 주입할 수 있도록 추가 주입위치를 선정하였으며 적정량의 암모니아 용액을 주입함으로써 보일러 급수의 최적 수소이온농도인 9.2~9.6 으로 조절이 가능하다는 결론을 얻었다.

  • I보일러-터빈 설비는 화력발전소의 주전원설비 내지 자가발전설비로서 보일러는 연료를 연소시켜 그 열을 수관내의 물에 전달하여 필요한 증기를 얻는 설비이고, 터빈은 보일러에서 보내온 고온, 고압의 증기를 팽창시켜 기계적 에너지로 변환하여 그 에너지로 발전기를 회전하여 전기를 얻는 장치이다. 보일러-터빈 설비는 전기적 출력과 드럼내의 증기압 및 수위를 적절히 조절함으로써 발전소의 안정된 운전을 도모하고 발전용 연료의 절감 및 이를 통한 공해 저감을 이루어야 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 보일러-터빈 설비에 대한 제어시스템을 설계하는 한 방법으로서 기준모델 추종형 퍼지 시스템을 제안한다. 보일러-터빈 설비는 다변수 비선형 시스템으로서 일반적인 제어시스템 구성이 힘들지만, 오버슈트가 없으며 속응성이 좋은 기준모델을 선정하고 이 기준모델을 추종하도록 하는데 일반적인 1입력-1출력 퍼지제어기만을 적용하여도 기준신호에 대한 추종성 및 외란제거 능력 그리고 모델링 오차에 대한 강인성까지 나타내는 제어시스템의 설계가 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 전원설비로서의 보일러-터빈 설비에 대한 효율적인 제어시스템 설계방법으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

수치 해석을 이용한 감압 회류 수조 설계 (Depressurized Circulating Water Channel Design Using CFD)

  • New high-speed depressurized circulating water channel was designed by using the CFD code. Flow in the channel has free surface and pressure in the test section can be depressed. In this study, Flow separation and bubble occurrence were considered in designing the contraction nozzle shape for better flow uniformity Tn the test section. To supplement velocity defect due to the free surface, nozzle injection system more effective in high-speed flow was installed instead of drum system. Necessary power and injection techniques were proposed. And guide vane arrangement was analyzed to reduce the flow resistance and keep quiet free surface from ´surging´. Wave absorber was devised to reduce the wave resistance and to prevent the entrainment of air to the diffuser.

횡류팬을 적용한 진공청소기 흡입노즐내 유동 소음 저감에 관한 연구 (Reduction of Flow-Induced Noise in Suction Nozzle of a Vacuum Cleaner by Adopting a Cross-Flow Fan)

  • In suction nozzle of a vacuum cleaner, where flow-induced noise is generated mainly by flow resistance, several ideas to reduce noise are investigated. To increase fan performance, blade number is optimized and a centrifugal fan is replaced by a cross-flow fan, In addition, gear ratio of fan to drum brush is changed. It is found that fan performance is increased by adopting these methods. Next, the blade height of the fan is decreased to reduce sound pressure level, which causes inevitably decrease in fan performance. Eventually, flow-induced noise is reduced by 6.3 dBA in its overall level with the fan performance maintained.

압축기용 라비린스 실의 동특성 해석 (Rotordynamic Analysis of Compressor Labyrinth Seals)

  • An analysis of lateral hydrodynamic forces of compressor labyrinth seals is presented. Basic equations are derived using a two-control-volume model for compressible flow. Blasius' wall friction-factor formula and jet flow theory are used for the calculaton of wall shear stresses and recirculation velocity in the cavity. Linearized zeroth-order and first-order perturbation equations are developed for a small motion about the centered position by expansion in the eccentricity ratio. Integraton of the resultant first-order pressure distribution over the seal defines the rotordynamic coefficients. As an application a rotordynamic analysis of the balance drum labyrinth seal found in an ethylene regrigeration copmressor is carried out. The rotordynamic characteristic results of the labyrinth seal are presented and compared with other types of seals, honeycomb seal and smooth seal.

  • In this paper, the finite element analysis model of the mult-axial wheel durability test configuration is created using SAMCEF. Mooney-Rivlin 2nd model is applied to the tire model, and the variation of the air pressure inside the tire is considered. Vertical load, lateral load and camber angle are applied to the simulation model. The tire rotates because of the friction contact with a drum, and reaches its maximum speed of 60 km/h. The dynamics stress results of the simulation and experiment are compared, and the reliability of the simulation model is verified.

자동차용 브레이크 라이닝의 마찰특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the characteristics of friction in automotive brake lining)

  • This paper theoretically analyzed the relations between the out-put braking torque and the wheel cylinder pressure in the leading-trailing drum brake for heavy duty truck as the characteristics of friction in break lining, comparing with the results derived from full-scale inertial brake dynamometer test in actual braking condition to develop reliable brake system in extensive using conditions. The main results obtained are as follows; 1) The characteristic curve representing the relations between BEF (Brake Effectiveness Factor) and Friction coefficient derived from theoretical analysis are consistent with the experimental results of dynamometer test. 2) According to the results of dynamometer test, the friction coefficient of brake lining is subject to initial brake speed and the actual using temperature in brake system.

The Clinical Application of Sound-Protection

  • Bekesy measured the sound transformation system of the middle ear 49 years ago. According to his reports, a ratio between the size of ear drum and the size of oval window is 17 : 1, and the lever function of the ossicles is physiologically 1.3 : 1. Therefore, the hearing might be aggravated to 27.5㏈ in the case of the vanishment of 3 ossicles. In 1952, Wullstein reported 5 types of tympanop-lasty and the fourth type among them was especially named for the sound-protection. The oval window is only exposed by the sound pressure and the round window is not exposed. According to the application by this idea, the post-operative hearing might be improved until 27.5㏈. Mean while, in 1942, Onchi verified through his experiment that the results of Bekesy's measurement was not completely conformed to Onchi result. Bekesy measured the sound pressure on the stapes plate of the oval window, on the other hand, Onchi measured the sound pressure on the surface of the perilymph of the oval window after removing the stapes plate(Fig. 1).(Figure omitted) The difference of their experiment is recognized that the impedance of the stapes plate exists or not (Fig. 1). Both Audiogrums are compared as Fig. 2. The result of IV type of tympanoplasty is success ful in 54% as the Table 1. (Table Omitted) The reason of unsatisfactory is caused by the thick and unmovable window-membrane and by the closing of air passage to the round window. The closing of the air passage to the round window is occurred by the adhesion between the grafting membrane and the surface of promontorium. In order to preserve this adhesion, I produce to transplantate the mucous membrane of the lip to the bone surface of tympanic cavity after removing the granulation tissue of the tympanic cavity and to form a membranous canal for the sake of air passage (Fig. 3). (Figure Omitted) The post-operative hearing by this method is shown as Fig. 4, 5. In other words, the post-operative sound pressure entered into the cochlea directly, by way of the oval window only, not by way of the round window, as a theorie of the sound protection.
