  • 최근 인터넷과 전자기기 및 컴퓨터 시스템 기술의 발달에 맞물려 컴퓨터, 이동전화, 셋탑박스, 디지털 TV, 개인 휴대 단말기 등 정보단말기의 네트워크화가 급진전되면서 임베디드 리눅스가 IT분야의 새로운 관심사로 부상하고 있다. 리눅스는 오픈 소스로서 가격 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있으며, 공개된 장치 드라이버와 응용프로그램의 재사용이 가능하고, 오픈 소스 공동체를 통해 문제를 쉽게 해결할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 쉘, 파일 시스템을 이용하여 편리한 개발 환경을 제공해 주는 이점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 리눅스 운영체제를 디지털 TV에 이식하기 위해 크로스 컴파일 환경과 커널을 빅 엔디언(Endian)으로 변경하고, 커널 구동에 필수적인 장치들을 재설계함으로 리눅스 커널을 디지털 TV에 맞게 최적화함으로써 임베디드 리눅스 운영체제를 설계하였다. 또한 디지털 TV에서의 시스템 장치 제어를 위하여 I2C Bus Interface 디바이스 드라이버를 작성하였다.

  • This paper describes a scheme of motor control for Quadcopter with Android phone instead of a dedicated controller. Basically, user's requests (channel and speed) are inquired and transferred to the Quadcopter with Android phone, then the embedded Linux system receives them and controls the motor speed of corresponding channel. We have designed and implemented an App. for user interface and the modules of device driver and timer ISR for the motor control. Finally, we have up-loaded the App. and the modules to an Android (ver.4.0) phone and ARM processor (S3C6410)-based embedded board respectively, and reviewed the functional correctness by testing the motor control of Quadcopter.

  • Substation automation is one of the key issues for the enhancement of the power industrial foundation. IEC 60850 is an international standard specifying communication network and systems in substation. It supports interchangeability and interoperability of equipments from different vendors. ACSI(Abstract communication service interface) specifies basic communication structure for substation and IEDs. It supports communication as well as various services without proper protocols. For actual communication, MMS(Manufacturing Message Specification : ISO 9506) is used to map ACSI services. Solutions for the development of communication driver based don IEC 61850 are proposed in this paper.

  • The Paper presents some potential new uses for Head-Up Displays (HUDs) in vehicular applications, where the information conveyed to the driver goes well beyond the content of today's production HUDs. Such information potentially related to the use of cellular telephones, navigation systems, vehicle to roadside communications systems, and many others. Improvements in flat panel display technologies are enabling the presentation of larger, more reconfigurable, more daylight-viewable HUD images. In addition, A Formal test and evaluation is proposed to ensure that new information displays support the driver tasks. The above developments suggest increased future opportunities for HUDs to present useful information in an as-needed, eyes-on-the-road manner.

  • The test facility of the 1/60-scale models for the train-tunnel interactions was recently developed to investigate the effects of entry portal shapes, hood shapes and air-shafts for reducing the micro-pressure waves radiating to the surroundings of the tunnel exits by KRRI in Korea. The launching system of train model was chosen as air-gun type. In present test rig, after train model is launched, the blast wave by the driver did not enter to inside of the tunnel model. The train model is guided on the one-wire system from air-gun driver to the brake parts of test facility end. Some cases of the experiments were compared with numerical simulations to prove the test facility.

  • A single-clock-driven shift register and a two-stage buffer are proposed, using p-type, low-temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistors. To eliminate the clock skew problems and to reduce the burden of the interface, only one clock signal was adopted to the shift register circuit, without additional reference voltages. A two-stage, p-type buffer was proposed to drive the gate line load and shows a full-swing output without threshold voltage loss. The shift register and buffer were designed for the 3.31" WVGA ($800{\times}480$) LCD panel, and the fabricated circuits were verified via simulations and measurements.

  • We have designed embedded web sewer system and ported Linux operating system version 2.4.5 at our system. And then We implemented to control and monitor widely separated hardware and implemented to monitor widely separated image using CMOS image sensor HV7131B. Web server is the Boa web server with General Public License. We designed for this system using of Intel's SA1110 ARM core base processor and connecting input and output device at GPIO port of SA1110. Device driver of General purpose I/O for Embedded Linux OS is designed. And then the application program controlling driver is implemented to use of common gate interface C language. User is available to control and monitor at client PC. This method have benefit to reduce the Expenditure of hardware design and development time against PC base system and have various and capacious application against firmware base system.

  • The needs of larger screen in mobile device would be increased as the time of ubiquitous and convergence is coming. And, the type of mobile device has been evolved from bar, slide to row. Recently, the study on the multi-display screen which has seamless gap between two display panel has been published, and moreover the System On Chip(SOC) design strategy of core chip has been the most promising Field-Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) technology in the display system. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed the design technique of SOC and evaluated the effectiveness with Very high speed Hardware Description Language(VHDL) Intellectual Property (IP) for the operation of multi display device driver. Also, This IP design would be to allow any kind of user interface in control system.

  • According to the operation data between $2007{\sim}2008$(January$\sim$June) for essential safety equipment including ATC, there were nothing special but stable and steady. And also emergency stop number of count are decreasing. But the frequency are still above the resonable count and it means driving condition should be improved through interface between ground and locomotive same as come to an understanding with driver. The number of count of emergency stop for VACMA(vigilance system) are also decreasing but also the frequency are above resonable count. This phenomenon caused by careless driving for the driver or the system malfunction. So the continuous monitoring for the data is necessary.

  • 인터넷의 급격한 성장과 함께 컴퓨터 통신 이용률이 폭발적으로 증가함에 따라 여러 악성코드가 등장하게 되었다. 이러한 악성코드는 시스템의 비정상 동작 유발, 네트워크 성능 저하, 개인정보유출의 문제를 발생시킨다. 현재의 악성코드 분석은 Signature 분석이 대부분이며, Signature 분석은 특정 패턴의 악성코드는 빠르게 탐지하나, 변조된 코드는 탐지하지 못하며, 이미 피해가 널리 퍼진 뒤 분석 및 차단이 가능하다는 단점을 가진다. 따라서 본 논문은 NDIS(Network Driver Interface Specification)를 이용하여 악성코드에 대해 수동적인 Signature 분석의 단점을 보완 하는 시스템 및 네트워크 상태 분석모델을 제시 하여 보다 능동적인 탐지 및 차단 프로세스를 정의하고, 모델 구현을 위한 방법을 제시한다.
