Recently, the animation industry in China is rapidly developing drawing the government and the whole society's attention. To cope with a large-scale animation market by each region, they busily seek revitalization program of animation industry and are producing lots of animations that maximized their creative ability with its own competence and breaking the existing OEM production method. Up to now, when the scale of sales related with animation in China exceeds 10 times than that in Korea, the concrete studies on current state of animation education AS the basis of development of animation industry of China and the way of academic-industrial cooperation through that education are proved to be insufficient. Therefore, this study has surveyed and analyzed the current state of animation education by directly visiting 6 local universities related with animation. Equivocally, it has also examined current state of academic-industrial cooperation in industrial field related with animation in China by directly visiting around 10 main companies related with animation in China. Through this study, it has been possible to grasp the current state and problems of academic-industrial cooperation in China and various programs of academic-industrial cooperation system that can be implemented in universities and businesses which are intended to be suggested to them as based on this analysis. The touchstone of intensive studies on academic-industrial cooperation system in China could be suggested through this study, which has been previously unsatisfactory and it is considered to be worthy of application as many preceding studies that engraft on reality of education in the country today.

In this study, a survey was carried out to investigate status of children's computer use and their ability by gender and age. The objects of the survey were kids at a day care center in Gimpo where students of the early childhood education department of K university had practical training for a month. 378 questionnaire were collected excepting those with insincere or inconsistent responses, and among them, According to the results of this study, girls use computers more often than boys for educational purposes such as learning how to read and write Korean language and numbers and foreign languages, and also learning music and arts. On the other hand, boys use computers more often than girls for entertainment like cartoon movies and games. In terms of computer using ability such as understanding instructions, manipulation of functions, drawing pictures, chatting and e-mail, internet shopping, homepage making, girls have higher ability than boys while boys are significantly superior to girls in the ability to play computer games. The analytical results show that application programs of the childhood education is desirable for boys to use for the sake of arousing the interest and for the game and for girls to use at the part of music and arts. According to ages, for 1-2 years children, they needs the AP with a delicate person having the computer knowledge, for 3-4 years children, they need AP with some little help, for 6-7 years, they need the AP to do themselves according to sex and age.
This study investigates the role of universities in regional development by drawing upon case studies from Japan in which local universities contribute to regional development through the promotion of Industry-University Collaboration Projects of humanities and social sciences majors. Based on these cases, policy implications are derived for Korea. As a result of the analysis of Japan's cases, university-industry collaboration activities incorporating active participation and cooperation of various regional actors led by local universities of humanities and social sciences majors were seen to contribute to regional development. Rather than taking a passive attitude toward solving regional problems, the universities have entered into a more proactive relationship with their local community through university-industry collaboration of humanities and social sciences majors. They thereby also address problems and challenges relating to various aspect of the local community such as economy, culture and education. To activate university-industry collaboration of humanities and social sciences majors in order to strengthen regional development in Korea, awareness-raising of university-industry collaboration, development of student-led programs, proactive attitudes and efforts by the universities, arrangement of support plans by the government, and the like are required.

Dozer is an expensive construction equipment and has a significant performance impact on earthwork performance. A machine guidance system has been applied to dozer equipment as a solution that can improve the performance. The system can provide earthwork-related information to equipment operators so that earthworks can be carried out with minimum support from surveyors. Construction Equipment Machine guidance has the function of supporting earthwork according to an earthwork plan by providing excavation-related information to machine operators. The objective of this study is to evaluate the performance improvement of a machine guidance system for an dozer earthwork operation, and to compare the machine guidance method with the traditional method. The performance has been evaluated in two folds: 1) productivity and 2) accuracy. The productivity shows the quantity of earthwork for a given unit time. The accuracy shows the deviation of grading level from the designed level on the construction drawing for earthwork. The machine guidance system has been applied to a testing bed in a construction site. Data comparison analysis showed that the earth earthwork had 46.59% improvement in productivity as well as 46.96% improvement in accuracy, and is expected to provide a tool for applying smart constrction to the earthwork operation.

This paper categorized the functions of and investigated the characteristics of planting in Pyeonghwa Park near the Seoul World Cup Stadium as a preliminary study for improving tree planting in the park. The functions of planting were deduced based on related theoretical studies and an analysis of the intention of design and environmental factors. The characteristics of planting were analyzed after drawing the distribution and stratification of dominant planting species and setting samples by function. The functions of planting were classified into natural landscape planting, buffer planting, and shade planting. For dominant planting species, pine trees and elm-like trees have been widely observed while various species in addition to pine trees in natural landscape planting areas have been introduced in terms of the function of planting. These trees that were randomly planted before the park was developed have been obstacles in the formation of natural landscapes. For buffer planting and topographical correction, tall trees were planted. However, it seems that comprehensive complementary measures should be taken on the under-story planting.
When customer makes a phone call to get the necessary information, ARS (Automatic Response System) will provide them without the limitation of time and place. Therefore, the application field of ARS (Automatic Response System) has been expanded and also occupancy rates arepretty high. However, compared with the importance of ARS, there is little study regarding the closest information structure of the actual users. Therefore, this research is about the ARS information structure of Gimhea BIS (Bus Information System), and the point of this research is to analyze the problem of the ARS information structure so we can suggest an idea to improve it. As the methods of study, drawing the workflow of ARS, conducting user observation, comparing with cases another region and analysis them. As a result, by and large there was error in the structure of information so, system reformation was required. Now that, we suggested two ideas for the improvement and we conducted usability test under that problem. Usability test was conducted by Lab test with interview. As a result, we could understand merits and demerits of two ideas for improvement, and we completed final improvement to highlight only merits of two ideas for improvement. This study will be utilized as the base material to improve ARS of Gimhea BIS.
This paper is an in-depth case study to analyze integrated elementary science lesson planning and practical teaching by two teachers at an urban elementary schools. One is an experienced teacher and the other is a beginning teacher. For this study, researchers asked teachers to design 5 stages of lesson planning after sharing basic theories about the integrated science education. The first of the 5 lesson planning stages is curriculum analysis and choice of integrated science topic. The second stage is constructing the frame of integrated science lesson contents, and the third is drawing a diagram of the integrated science lesson development. The fourth stage is making a table of lesson plans, and the last stage is writing integrated science lesson plans. Then, the teachers implemented the lessons they created. They taught students one unit of science which is composed of 8 lessons. Difficulties that teachers meet during designing plans and integrated science class were analyzed. 5 staged lesson planning, video transcriptions, teacher interview about lesson planning and teaching, researchers' checklists, reports of inspection classes, teachers' self evaluation, and students interviews were used for this study. One of the significant results of this study is that both experienced and beginning teachers had many difficulties in deciding on time to teach and contents of science and other subjects, as well as selection and organization of whole topics of integrated science teaching. The beginning teacher especially had greater issues with developing definite teaching-learning strategy to conduct thoughts and views for integrated science at the whole unit and each lesson. However, the experienced teacher was using various teaching-learning strategies by utilizing integrated science teaching professionalism to develop students' integrated thinking ability during the instruction of other subjects. The outcomes of this study are that both teachers could deeply understand the need and value of integrated science education at the elementary school through planning and teaching 8 lessons, and that they could have self-confidence with development of teaching professionalism for integrated science teaching. It may be possible that this study could help the development of pre- and in-service program for improvement of integrated science teaching professionalism for elementary school teacher.
By analyzing and integrating established geological field study instances, this study offered a new geological field excursion teaching model with several steps: unifying question raising. excursion generalization. intensive field direction, searching, primary conclusion, re-searching, group discussion. adjustment, and excursion summarizing. Then by Qualitatively assaying the responses which students showed after applying this teaching model, a concrete teaching plan was sought for earth science teachers who were planning to begin geological field excursion classes. Students evaluated very highly on the unifying question and excursion generalization because these items provided a sense of direction and an overall theme for geological excursion in advance. Also. since the students had little to none geological knowledge and field excursion experience, the intensive field direction gave them a lot of help with their field excursion activities. Students thought that coming up with a primary conclusion based on the summary of what they had observed in their activities was original. and highly valued the process of sharing different opinions in group discussions and drawing out a final conclusion. Teachers should help students develop a friendly atmosphere, by organizing group activities and continuously feedlng them with uniting questions and excursion generalization within the groups. Also they should prepare enough contents for intensive field direction and ways to get their points across. In the process, they should arrange beforehand detailed instructions for every outcome, with the intention of solving the question. Furthermore. teachers should follow carefully how conclusions are drawn. instruct students not to reach conclusions based on mere assumptions, and be aware of misconceptions students have toward geological phenomenon in advance, so that the discussion can be lead in the right direction.
This research was carried out to see that to what extent KSD reaction can be related to types of sociometric status, and it was carried out on the basis of an hypothesis that KSD reactions of elementary school students in high grades(4th, 5th, 6th grades) would vary according to gender and 5 types of sociometric status, For that purpose, sociometry which were developed by Ahn Iehwan(2007) and KSD, were implemented with students of 20 classes (5 classes of 4th grade, 5 classes of 5th grade and 10 classes of 6th grade) at an elementary school in A city. Number of students surveyed was 366 and it was not exactly the stratified cluster sampling method. To verify 3 hypotheses, independent samples t-test, one way ANOVA, discriminant analysis were made. As a result, there was statistically significant difference in action factor and characteristics factor among 3 factors of KSD reaction by gender, but there was not statistically significant difference in dynamics factor. The result of one way ANOVA showed there was statistically significant difference in characteristics factor and dynamics factor among female students, but there was not statistically significant difference in action factor. Therefore, it was understood that characteristics factor of KSD reaction was closely related to gender difference and types of sociometric status. From the result of this research, it was considered necessary to review KSD scoring system suggested by 田中志帆(2009). And lastly, it was observed that KSD reaction was not effective in evaluating sociometry, and a new approach to the projective drawing test was suggested as a supplementary method for sociometry.
The purpose of this research was to analyze characteristics of verbal interactions of each homogeneous group in the learning of the 6th grade's 'Use of Lenses' Unit. For this research, six learning sessions were conducted in one 6th grade class composed of a high-academic-achievement group, an intermediate-academic-achievement group, and a low-academic-achievement group. All lessons were recorded, to analyze the verbal interactions of each group, and the transcribed data were analyzed using the verbal-interaction analytic framework. Results included: In the upper group, although opinions were presented more frequently, there were many negative verbal interactions in completing the tasks. The middle group was observed more specifically to accept peer opinions critically in their observational activities. The middle group's members were more active in presenting their opinions than listening to others' opinions. The lower group had difficulties in drawing conclusions because of a lack of ability to persuade peers or to respect the opinions of peers, even though the frequency of verbal interactions was higher than in other groups. Therefore, a homogeneous group structure is good for a simple activity involving a simple inquiry or an exchange of opinions, while a heterogeneous group structure is more effective in activities focused on understanding scientific concepts and knowledge.
