  • 방사선을 측정하기 위해서는 여러 종류의 센서가 있다. 그 센서들 중에서 콜리메이터와 신틸레이터 통해 CCD 센서에서 감도나 센싱 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 해상도가 높은 CCD 센서를 이용하여 방사선을 검출하는데, 신틸레이터 통해 CCD에 들어오는 영상에서 방사선에 반응하여 생기는 가시광선을 처리하여 방사선량을 측정하고 공간상에서 방사선이 가장 많이 나오는 포인터를 제시하는 것이다. 추후 영상을 스테레오 카메라 방식의 구현하여 방사선원까지 거리 산출하고 영상화하는 것이다.

도로 시설물 관리를 위한 노변 영상 취득 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of roadside image data acquisition system for road facility management)

  • 본 연구에서 개발한 노변 영상(roadside image) 취득 시스템은 효율적으로 도로 시설물들을 관리하기 위함이다. 복잡하고 긴 구간의 도로에 존재하는 도로 시설물을 인력을 사용하여 조사하기에는 많은 시간과 비용이 소요된다. 도로를 따라 움직이는 차량을 이용하는 경우에는 적은 인원과, 단시간에 노변에 설치된 시설물 등의 현황과 상태를 조사 할 수 있으며 도로 주변의 다양한 정보를 알 수가 있다. 또한, 차량에 장착된 GPS/INS 통합시스템을 사용하여 해당 영상의 정확한 위치 정보를 획득 할 수 있다. 그러나 선명한 영상을 취득하기 위해서 야외의 다양한 조건을 만족시키는 카메라와 렌즈의 선정이 중요하며, 이에 따른 동기화 장치(synchronization device)와 영상 획득 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 경기도 고양시를 대상으로 시험을 실시하였으며, 현재 시판되고 있는 최신의 다양한 종류의 카메라와 렌즈를 차량에 장착한 후 영상을 취득하여 연구에 적합한 하드웨어를 선정하였다. 또한 동기화 장치를 사용하여 DMI(Distance Measuring Instrument)에서 발생되는 트리거 신호를 입력받아 일정한 거리마다 영상을 취득하는 S/W와 동기화 장치의 성능을 테스트하였다. 취득된 노변 영상의 위치 정확도를 테스트하기 위해 DGPS 방법을 이용하여 후처리 하였으며, 레벨 2수준의 교통주제도에 차량의 이동궤적과 도로의 선형을 중첩하여 육안으로 비교 분석하였다. 취득된 노변 영상을 분석하여 지상 모니터링 분야에서 도로 주변 시설물의 변화 탐지에 이용이 가능한 대상 시설물 목록을 선정하였으며 매우 효율적으로 도로의 유지관리에 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Arthroscopic Stabilization for Displaced Lateral Clavicular Fractures: Can It Restore Anatomy?

  • Background: The purpose of our study was to evaluate the accuracy of reduction based on postoperative computed tomography (CT) images after arthroscopic stabilization using tightrope system for unstable distal clavicle fracture. Methods: Twelve patients with distal clavicle fracture combined with coracoclavicular (CC) ligament injury (type II, V) who received arthroscopically assisted fixation using a flip button device were evaluated for accuracy of reduction using 3-dimensional postoperative CT scan by measuring the degree of distal clavicular angulation and clavicular shortening. Results: Immediate postoperative plain radiograph confirmed restoration of the CC distance (CCD) in 10 patients. At final follow-up, the CCD remained reduced anatomically on plain radiographs in these patients. All patients showed excessive posterior angulation and shortening compared to the opposite side. The average Constant score recovered to 94.8 at final follow-up. Conclusions: Indirect reduction and arthroscopic subacromial approach with flip button fixation of unstable distal clavicle fractures demonstrated favorable clinical results despite unavoidable posterior angulation of distal clavicle and shortening the total length of clavicle.

Study of Frequency Response Characteristics in Microphone Used by Optical Sensor

  • In this paper, in order to analyze property of frequency response in microphone using optical sensor, acousto-optic sensor system has been implemented. The capacitance microphone and fiber-optic transmission path type fiber-optic microphone (FOM) have weaknesses in directivity, size, weight, and price. However suggested optical microphone can be constituted by cheap devices, so it has many benefits like small size, light weight, high directivity, etc. Head part of optical microphone which is suggested in this paper is movable back and forth by sound pressure with the attached reflection plate. Operating point has also been determined by measuring the response characteristics. The choosing the point, which has maximum linearity and sensitivity has changing the distance between optical head and vibrating plate. We measured the output of the O/E transformed signal of the optical microphone while frequency of sound signal is changed using sound measurement /analysis program, "Smaart Live" and "USBPre", which are based on PC, and compared the result from an existing capacitance microphone. The measured optical microphone showed almost similar output characteristics as those of the compared condenser microphone, and its bandwidth performance was about 4 kHz at up to 3 dB.

감요수조(減搖水槽)의 성능(性能)에 관(關)하여(1) (On the Performance of the Anti-Rolling Tank(1))

  • In terms of this paper, concerning primarily with the U-tube tank stabilizer, the authors' aim is to clarify and consolidate the theory as it has been developed thus far, and to provide with the certain additions which will make it more complete, more accurate, and more practical. And then we can know that the effect of the vertical tank position from the C.G., $a_{st}=1-w^2/{w^2}_{st}$, is very important, on account for the fact that the position factor, $a_{st}$, increase when the anti-rolling tank attaches to higher position vertically, but $a_{st}$ does not increase in proportion to the distance of the tank position. Measuring many characteristic coefficients by experiment, in the equation of the ship-tank system motion, such as the inertia coefficient, the damping coefficient, the natural frequency and so on, they can also give a guess that the higher position will accompany the non-linear motion of the tank water, but the non-linear effect will decrease the tank ability. In this study, they deal with not only the optimum damping coefficient of tank, which has very simply been expressed by the strength ratio, $\lambda$, but also the effect of the tank top, which has experimentally been treated when the water has hit the tank top. As this result, we can immediately find that the ability of the anti-rolling tank decrease at w/ws=0.9 generally low frequency.

  • 본 실험에서는 종래와는 달리 먼저 입출구 부분에서 입자분포 측정장치를 이용하여 실험함으로써 여러 가지 입자크기에 대하여 동시에 효율을 구할 수 있는 장치를 구성하고 앞에서 열거한 여러 가지 실험인자중 레이놀즈수와 S/W를 변화시키면 서 일단 슬릿 임팩터(one-stage slit impactor)의 효율을 .root.Stk에 따라 구하여 일단 임팩터 뿐만 아니라 다단 임팩터(multistage impactor)에 대한 설계기초자료를 마련하 고자 한다.

3축 가속도 센서를 이용한 위치 검출 알고리즘 (Position Detection Algorithms Using 3-Axial Accelerometer Sensor)

  • In this paper, we consist of three dimensional acceleration sensor as a small-sized sensor module to acquire base technologies that need to estimate exhibition audience' moving distance. and that we developed algorism and device that can calculate acceleration in gravity direction with attaching it to people's body part without regard to three dimensional direction. By making use of the sensor module, we have to process the data that let it quantitatively process possible to measure people's walk and movement by computer system. We normalized sensor output data in the process of change from sensor module to acquisition of data, rectangular coordinates and single scalar acceleration value in gravity direction. Printed out sensor data attaching sensor module to people's body part is used for motion pattern detection after normalization, Motion sensor devised mode change algorism because it print data of other pattern according to attached position of body. For algorism design, we collected data occurring during walking about subject and we also defined occurring problem domain after analyzing the data. We settle defined problem domain and that we simulated the walking number measuring instrument with highly efficient in restricted environment.

DESIGN AND APPLICATION OF A SINGLE-BEAM GAMMA DENSITOMETER FOR VOID FRACTION MEASUREMENT IN A SMALL DIAMETER STAINLESS STEEL PIPE IN A CRITICAL FLOW CONDITION

  • A single-beam gamma densitometer is utilized to measure the average void fraction in a small diameter stainless steel pipe under critical flow conditions. A typical design of a single-beam gamma densitometer is composed of a sealed gammaray source, a collimator, a scintillation detector, and a data acquisition system that includes an amplifier and a single channel analyzer. It is operated in the count mode and can be calibrated with a test pipe and various types of phantoms made of polyethylene. A good average void fraction is obtained for a small diameter pipe with various flow regimes of the core, annular, stratified, and bubbly flows. Several factors influencing the performance of the gamma densitometer are examined, including the distance between the source and the detector, the measuring time, and the ambient temperature. The void fraction is measured during an adiabatic downward two-phase critical flow in a vertical pipe. The test pipe has an inner diameter of 10.9 mm and a thickness of 3.2 mm. The average void fraction was reasonably measured for a two-phase critical flow in the presence of nitrogen gas.

Remote Distance Measurement from a Single Image by Automatic Detection and Perspective Correction

  • This paper proposes a novel method for locating objects in real space from a single remote image and measuring actual distances between them by automatic detection and perspective transformation. The dimensions of the real space are known in advance. First, the corner points of the interested region are detected from an image using deep learning. Then, based on the corner points, the region of interest (ROI) is extracted and made proportional to real space by applying warp-perspective transformation. Finally, the objects are detected and mapped to the real-world location. Removing distortion from the image using camera calibration improves the accuracy in most of the cases. The deep learning framework Darknet is used for detection, and necessary modifications are made to integrate perspective transformation, camera calibration, un-distortion, etc. Experiments are performed with two types of cameras, one with barrel and the other with pincushion distortions. The results show that the difference between calculated distances and measured on real space with measurement tapes are very small; approximately 1 cm on an average. Furthermore, automatic corner detection allows the system to be used with any type of camera that has a fixed pose or in motion; using more points significantly enhances the accuracy of real-world mapping even without camera calibration. Perspective transformation also increases the object detection efficiency by making unified sizes of all objects.

Differential gear case와 피니언 샤프트 체결을 위한 핀 압입 장치설계 및 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Measurement of Pin Press-Fit Device for Fastening Differential Gear Case and Pinion Shaft)

  • The differential gear system is a device designed to distribute the driving force of both vehicle wheels and control the rotational speed when the vehicle turns on a curve. The differential device consists of a differential gear case, a ring gear, and a pressure ring. A differential pinion gear and side gear are mounted on the differential pinion shaft inside the differential gear case. In this study, a pin press-fitting device that mounts the pinier gear and side gear to the differential pinion shaft in the differential gear case was designed, and a jig device for pin press-fitting using servo press was developed. In addition, by precisely measuring the pin press-in load and press-in distance according to the pin hole diameter of the differential gear shaft, the optimization of the pin pressin process was established.
