Social workers' behaviors in their organizations are governed not only by explicit rules but by implicit rules. This study aimed to measure the extent that the implicit rules exist in social work agencies, and to assess the impact of the implicit rules on the degree of social workers' devotion, burnout, and satisfaction in their own work places. This study also endeavored to search any sort of sanctions that agencies apply against workers who refused to follow implicit rules in their organizations, along with any harms and/or benefits which organizations may experience according to the extent that the implicit rules exist. The results showed that the implicit rules do not exist so much in social work agencies in Korea. Not so many sanctions in the organizations were not found against workers who violated the implicit rules. The amount of implicit rules, however, affected the degree of damages that organizations sustained. The more implicit rules exist in the organizations, the higher was the level of social workers' devotion, burnout, and dissatisfaction in the work places. The impact of implicit rules was powerful in a few areas of work. That is, social workers were required to do whatever things at hand rather than carrying out professional tasks only. Social workers were also asked to stay way beyond the closing hour. The explicit rules were dominant in the area concerned with social work ethics. Some strategies to substantiate social work practice were suggested on the basis of careful examination of the powerful implicit rules.

The paper aims to examine the relationship between various types of motivation and satisfaction as well as turnover intentions of public university lecturers. Intrinsic motivation is found to affect both satisfaction and turnover, while for extrinsic motivation, only one type has a significant effect on satisfaction. The web-based questionnaire with convenience sampling was chosen to approach target respondents. Data was collected by sending a link of the questionnaire to the lecturers' email. There were 700 questionnaires collected. Of which 681 valid responses, after screening out unusual questionnaires. In order to fulfill these aims, the authors employed structural equation modeling with maximum likelihood method supported by AMOS software with 681 valid samples. The evidence confirms the high correlation between intrinsic motivation and satisfaction for university lecturers which has been shown in previous studies. With regard to extrinsic motivation, extrinsic regulation (material) is found to have a positive influence on satisfaction, meaning financial rewards and job security will lead to his contentment while introjected regulation is a source of dissatisfaction. The results also demonstrate that intrinsic motivation is negatively correlated with turnover intentions. A person who is interested in the job itself is less likely to leave his or her job due to a keen passion for it.

The satisfaction with job was high in job position in more than co-representative, in the whole and other task, and in less than 9 hours as for working hours. In the satisfaction with working environment, dissatisfaction was high in women, in the working career with 7~9 years, in chief level as for the job position in charge, in being responsible for porcelain in case of the duty field, and in more than 10 people as for the number of employees. The higher satisfaction with job satisfaction and working environment led to the lower turnover intention. Turnover intention was low in case of having ventilation fan & dust collector desk and in case of being well ventilated inside the workshop. As the above results, it is considered to be necessary for arranging institutional device of protecting dental technicians' health and reducing turnover through improving working environment such as forming comfortable environment of using the dust-collecting facilities and the ventilation facilities, wearing suitable individual protective gear and arranging the rest space.
