Automatic Compiler Generator for Visual Languages using Semantic Actions based on Classes (클래스 기반의 의미수행코드 명세를 이용한 시각언어 컴파일러 자동 생성)

  • The syntax-directed translation using semantic actions is frequently used in construction of compiler for text programming languages. it is very useful for the language designers to develop compiler back-end using a syntax structure of a source programming language. Due to the lack of the integrated representation method for a parse tree node and modeling method of syntax structures, it is very hard to construct compiler using syntax-directed translation in visual languages. In this Paper, we propose a visual language compiler generation method for constructing a visual languages compiler automatically, using syntax-directed translation. Our method uses the Picture Layout Grammar as a underlying grammar formalism. This grammar allows our approach to generate parser efficiently u sing And-Or-Waiting Graph and encapsulating syntax definition as one unit. Unlike other systems, we suggest separating the specification and the generation of semantic actions. Because of this, it provides a very efficient method for modification.

  • Bayesian networks, also known as directed acyclic graphs (DAG), are used in many areas of medicine, meteorology, and genetics because relationships between variables can be modeled with graphs and probabilities. In particular, Bayesian network classifiers, which are used to predict discrete data, have recently become a new method of data mining. Bayesian networks can be grouped into different models that depend on structured learning methods. In this study, Bayesian network models are learned with various properties of structure learning. The models are compared to the simplest method, the naïve Bayes model. Classification results are compared by applying learned models to various real data. This study also compares the relationships between variables in the data through graphs that appear in each model.

  • It is very important to help students learn by examining how well students solve math problems. Therefore, in this study, four methods(error analysis by problem type, schematization analysis, area graph analysis, and broken line graph analysis) were constructed to analyze how the connectivity between concepts of middle school functions affects the problem solving results. The students' learning situation was visually expressed to enable intuitive understanding. This analysis method makes it easy to understand the evaluation results of students. It can help students learn by understanding their learning situation. It will be useful in mathematics teaching and learning as it can help students to monitor their own problems and make a self-directed learning plan.

  • The goal of data mining is to extract new and useful knowledge from large scale datasets. As the amount of available data grows explosively, it became vitally important to develop faster data mining algorithms for various types of data. Recently, an interest in developing data mining algorithms that operate on graphs has been increased. Especially, mining frequent patterns from structured data such as graphs has been concerned by many research groups. A graph is a highly adaptable representation scheme that used in many domains including chemistry, bioinformatics and physics. For example, the chemical structure of a given substance can be modelled by an undirected labelled graph in which each node corresponds to an atom and each edge corresponds to a chemical bond between atoms. Internet can also be modelled as a directed graph in which each node corresponds to an web site and each edge corresponds to a hypertext link between web sites. Notably in bioinformatics area, various kinds of newly discovered data such as gene regulation networks or protein interaction networks could be modelled as graphs. There have been a number of attempts to find useful knowledge from these graph structured data. One of the most powerful analysis tool for graph structured data is frequent subgraph analysis. Recurring patterns in graph data can provide incomparable insights into that graph data. However, to find recurring subgraphs is extremely expensive in computational side. At the core of the problem, there are two computationally challenging problems. 1) Subgraph isomorphism and 2) Enumeration of subgraphs. Problems related to the former are subgraph isomorphism problem (Is graph A contains graph B?) and graph isomorphism problem(Are two graphs A and B the same or not?). Even these simplified versions of the subgraph mining problem are known to be NP-complete or Polymorphism-complete and no polynomial time algorithm has been existed so far. The later is also a difficult problem. We should generate all of 2$^n$ subgraphs if there is no constraint where n is the number of vertices of the input graph. In order to find frequent subgraphs from larger graph database, it is essential to give appropriate constraint to the subgraphs to find. Most of the current approaches are focus on the frequencies of a subgraph: the higher the frequency of a graph is, the more attentions should be given to that graph. Recently, several algorithms which use level by level approaches to find frequent subgraphs have been developed. Some of the recently emerging applications suggest that other constraints such as connectivity also could be useful in mining subgraphs : more strongly connected parts of a graph are more informative. If we restrict the set of subgraphs to mine to more strongly connected parts, its computational complexity could be decreased significantly. In this paper, we present an efficient algorithm to mine frequent subgraphs that are more strongly connected. Experimental study shows that the algorithm is scaling to larger graphs which have more than ten thousand vertices.

  • Recently the technological advance in the hardware dealing with multimedia data as well as the explosive increase of the volume of multimedia data bring about new interest in the use of multimedia presentations in many application domains. To use multimedia presentations efficiently, the integration of multimedia presentations into DBMS is necessary. This paper presents a multimedia presentatation query language based on contents and query processing techniques. Presently, multimedia presentation authoring tools denote a multimedia presentation using a presentation graph which is a DAG. A Node in the graph is a same type of media stream and edges denote a play-out order and a synchronization way among nodes. The contents of presentations graphs are the information of each stream, the sequential order of the information inside each stream and the play-out order among the streams. GCalculus/S is a calculus-based query language and can deal with the contents of a presentation graph and physical characteristics of multimedia data. It expresses the sequential order of information inside each stream and the play-out order of streams of a presentation graph using temporal operators Next, Connected and Until. O-Algebra, which is object algebra, is extended to process GCalculus/S queries.

An Automatic Generation of XML Syntax Directed Editor (XML 구문 지향 편집기의 자동 생성)

  • XML문서를 작성하는데 있어서 그 규칙이나 DTD에 익숙하지 않은 개발자에게 구문 지향 편집기는 효율적인 환경을 제공해 준다. 이러한 구문 지향 편집기를 생성하는 도구로서 Synthesizer Generator등이 잘 알려져 있는데, 사용자는 Synthesizer Generator를 위해 구문 지향 편집기 생성 정보 표현 언어인 SSL(Syntheizer Specification Language)을 직접 작성해야 한다. 본 연구는 웹 문서 표준인 XML 구문 지향 편집기를 자동 생성하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 입력된 XML DTD를 AST 형태로 변경하여DAG(Directed Acyclic Graph)를 추출하는 DAG 변환기, 생성된 DAG를 SSL로 변환하기 위한 DAG 핸들러와 SSL 변환기 모듈 그리고 변환된 SSL을 이용해 XML 구문 지향 편집기를 자동 생성하기 위한 Synthesizer Generator 사창을 포함한다. SSL 변환기는 SSL문서를 자동 생성하기 위한 모듈로서 추상 구문변환 모듈 역 파싱(Unparsing scheme)모듈 변형 규칙(Transformation rule) 표현 모듈로 구성된다. 사용자는 SSL변환기와 Synthesizer Generator의 사용을 통해 SSL을 직접 코딩해야 하는 노력과 불필요한 학습시간을 줄이고 빠르고 정확한 XML 구문 지향 편집기를 생성하므로 효율적인 XML 문서 작성할 수 있다.

Output Feedback Consensus of High-order Integrators with a Communication Delay (통신 지연을 갖는 고차 적분기시스템의 출력 피드백 일치)

  • This paper addresses the output feedback consensus problem for high-order integrators under a directed network with a communication delay. In order to solve this problem, the dynamic output feedback controller is proposed. Also, by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, it is shown that the existence of the proposed consensus controller can always be guaranteed even in the presence of an arbitrarily large communication delay.

  • Scheduling parallel tasks, represented as a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) or task graph, on a multiprocessor system has been an important research area in the past decades. List scheduling algorithms assign priorities to a node or an edge in an input DAG, and then generate a schedule according to the assigned priorities. This appear proposes a list scheduling algorithms with effective method of priority assignments. The paper also analyzes the worst case performance and optimality condition for the proposed algorithm. The performance comparison study shows that the proposed algorithms outperforms existing scheduling algorithms especially for input DAGs with high communication overheads. The performance improvement over existing algorithms becomes larger as the input DAG becomes more dense and the level of parallelism in the DAG is increased.

  • The structure of a Web site can prevent the search robots or crawling agents from confusion in the midst of huge forest of the Web pages. We formalize the view on the World Wide Web and generalize it as a hierarchy of Web objects such as the Web as a set of Web sites, and a Web site as a directed graph with Web nodes and Web edges. Our approach results in the optimal hierarchical structure that can maximize the weight, tf-idf (term frequency and inverse document frequency), that is one of the most widely accepted content centric measures in the information retrieval community, so that the measure can be used to embody the semantics of search query. The experimental results represent that the optimization model is an effective alternative in the dynamically changing Web environment by replacing conventional heuristic approaches.

Neural-Network-based Consensus Tracking of Second-Order Multi-Agent Systems With Unknown Heterogeneous Nonlinearities (미지의 이종 비선형성을 갖는 2차 비선형 다개체 시스템의 신경 회로망 기반 일치 추종)

  • This paper presents a simple approximation-based design approach for consensus tracking of heterogeneous second-order nonlinear systems under a directed network. All nonlinearities of followers are assumed to be unknown and non-identical. In the controller design procedure, graph-independent error surfaces are used and an unimplementable intermediate controller for each follower is designed at the first design step. Then, by adding and subtracting a graph-based term at the second step, the actual controller for each follower is designed by using one neural network employed to estimate a lumped and distributed nonlinearity. Therefore, the proposed local controller for each follower has a simpler structure than existing approximation-based consensus tracking controllers for multi-agent systems with unmatched nonlinearities.
