CALS Implementation Policy for Information-based Management of Small and Medium Companies (중소기업의 정보화를 위한 CALS 도입 정책 방안)

  • This study aims to suggest CALS implementation strategies and policies for information-based management of small and medium companies in Korea. At the turning point from traditional document-based management to recent digital-based one, it is well known that implementation of CALS concept is crucial for advancing business management of small and medium enterprises In order to attack the aim, this paper critically analyzes the empirical difficulties and obstacles of the current information-based management of small and medium companies in Korea. On the basis of the above analysis, this paper suggests the strategic plans and policies of CALS implementation for small and medium enterprises in Korea as follows. First, government should provide the supporting policies and proper system so that the large enterprise can be linked with small and medium companies for sharing necessary information. Second, similar enterprises should be integrated on the basis of information and automation evaluation. Third, implementation strategies and plans should be advanced on the basis of the informationalized phases with respect to the technology level of small and medium enterprises. For more efficient CALS implementation, this paper also proposes the following subsidiary policies. First, it is substantially important to publicize the nation-wide spreading of CALS mind. Second, it is strongly recommended to educate and train CALS specialist on a consistant basis. Third, government should support the enterprises by providing sufficient fund for CALS implementation. Fourth, the ideal CALS implementation models for small and medium enterprises should be developed. Fifth, the consulting and training program for CALS implementation should be established through ECRC (Electronic Commerce Resource Center).   • Digital media was realized by two-dimensional design backup. But, digital medium decides form of architecture, and act as a design tool that can expand area of thinking. With such social change, investigate for digital architecture. And, wish to analyze design process of digital architecture and search the characteristics. Through comparison of digital and analogue, clear up that the digital world had complex and ambivalent attribute. Define digital design process as "Digital continuum" with characteristic of digital architecture and divided in 3-steps of concept - development - representation. Analyzed digital design process of Frank O, Ghery, Peter Eisenman and Greg Lynn on th assumption division. As a result, design concept is starting from three-dimensional thinking instead of existent two-dimensional thinking. And because general work of process was gone by digital media, "mass costomization" was possible. Also, it gave architect new role. Differ with former days, select various variables, should tuning and cording, and emphasize role as coordinator who must select the result. Digital is summoning very radical and epoch-making change in architecture. At center of these change, digital design process asks architect complex thinking and creative concept.

Research on the impact of digital media art on tourism cultural communication

  • Culture is the soul of tourism, and communication is the key to the inheritance and development of tourism culture. Therefore, culture and communication are essential for the development of tourism. Digital media art is a new form of art that combines technical, artistic, and media-oriented elements. Its artistic expression and crossover communication capabilities drive its usage in cultural tourism communication. This paper examines the influence of digital media art on tourism culture communication and development by elucidating the concept and characteristics of tourism culture communication and digital media art, applying the theoretical knowledge of communication, and deriving the specific characteristics of digital media art on tourism culture in terms of the transmission-reception relationship, content, medium, and effect. The role and value of digital media art in disseminating and developing tourism culture are discussed. We aim to provide valuable insights for the dissemination of tourism culture.

  • In the early 20th century, Walter Benjamin analyzed the changes in the value of traditional art forms under the industrial era and the changes in the aesthetic attitude of the masses. A century later, in the contemporary multi-art world, the traditional medium of shelf painting is once again experiencing a similar situation as the last century. Emerging technology display modes such as digital virtual reality and digital immersive experience can achieve digital reproduction of paintings on shelves and reach a certain level of performance, which once again shocks the public's aesthetic perception. This paper attempts to illustrate the outstanding characteristics of the new art form after digital reconstruction by exploring the transformation and sublimation of digital technology to shelf painting. We predict that art research on future reality and augmented reality according to the artificial intelligence era will be conducted in depth in the future.

  • This study is about the development of Fashion Design using of Korean Motive applied Digital Medium. With rapid change during the 21st century, digital media has emerged as the most important communication tool to facilitate speedy and interactive conversation. The recent emergence of 'Mass Customization' is a good reflection of digital transition's interactive features, realizing product variation and customization through flexibility and immediate responsiveness. In this so-called digital era, fashion is a tool that facilitates the use of digital media, while acting as the object, or the purpose, where digital media can be applied. This study looked at the development situations and future utilization method regarding digital fashion, which was recreated through digital media. In this study, a new design process was developed through digital media and actually manufactured Korean image clothing to reflect the motif of plant found in Korean folk paintings. Three-Dimensional(3D) digital shape was dressed in virtual clothing for comparison, thereby adding some features of textile design to three-Dimensional(3D) shape. Through the process, the study can provide various potential accesses to future development of fashion design utilizing digital media.

A Study on Calling, Resillence, Leader-Member Exchange and Nursing Work Environment of Nurses in Small and Medium Sized Hospital (중소병원 간호사의 소명의식, 회복탄력성, 리더-구성원 관계 및 간호업무환경에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data for the development of a nursing manpower maintenance and management program by assessing the relationship among the calling, resilience, leader-member exchange, and nursing work environments of small and medium-sized hospital nurses. Data was collected through a structuralized questionnaire survey conducted on small and medium-sized hospital nurses. The results of this study indicated calling had positive correlation with resilience, leader-member exchange, and nursing work environments, while resilience had positive correlation with leader-member exchange and nursing work environments. There also was positive correlation between leader-member exchange and nursing work environments. Accordingly, there is a need to develop a program to offer motivation to increase calling and resilience from the personal perspective of the small and medium-sized hospital nurses. In addition, a program is necessary to strengthen continuous leadership of the hospital administrator to improve the leader-member exchange and nursing work environment from organizational perspective.

Influences of Safety Attitude for Patient, and Moral Sensitivity in Practice of Standard Precaution in Small and Medium Hospital Nurses (중소병원 간호사의 환자안전에 대한 태도, 도덕적 민감성이 표준주의지침 수행에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to explore the influences of safety attitude for patient and moral sensitivity in practice of standard precaution in small and medium hospital nurses. Data were collected from 150 small and medium hospital nurses in January 11, 2021 to January 22, 2021 and were analyzed using Descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Practice of standard precaution was significantly correlated with safety attitude for patient (r=.539, p<.001) and moral sensitivity(r=.249, p=.002). Practice of standard precaution was associated safety attitude for patient, and work unit with 33.8% of the variance(F=18.47, p<.001). Based on the findings of this study, each institution needs to make efforts to strengthen the safety attitude for patient of small and medium hospital nurses for practice of standard precaution.

More frequent detection of calcified carotid atherosclerotic plaques and mineralized laryngeal cartilages on digital than on film-based panoramic radiographs

  • Purpose: To determine whether calcified carotid atherosclerotic plaques(CCAPs) and mineralized laryngeal cartilages (MLCs) were more frequently detected on digital or film-based panoramic radiographs. The clinical relevance of this question is that some radiopacities seen on digital radiographs may correspond to medium-density tissues that are not necessarily mineralized. Materials and Methods: Data were collected from panoramic radiographs and the respective reports issued by 2 private oral radiology centers. A total of 388 radiographs and reports were divided into film-based (group A) and digital (group D) radiographs. The frequencies of CCAPs and MLCs were analyzed using the Fisher exact test, and odds ratios were also calculated (${\alpha}=1%$). Results: The mean age of patients whose reports and radiographs showed CCAPs and/or MLCs ranged from 50.1 to 54.1 years. There was a predominance of females. A higher frequency of CCAPs and MLCs was observed in group D than in group A at both centers(P<0.01). CCAPs and MLCs were detected 4 times more frequently in group D than in group A at one of the centers. Conclusion: CCAPs and MLCs were more frequently detected on digital than on film-based panoramic radiographs. Further studies are needed to determine whether such radiopacities do indeed correspond to mineralized, rather than medium-density, tissues.

  • In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey for the purpose of finding a method of mobile sector ecosystem activation targeted at small and medium businesses (SMBs). Through the total of 204 responders consisting of business employees from each mobile sector, we analyzed the factors inhibiting the development of the mobile ecosystem and preventing the activation the mobile market, as well as conducting a diagnosis of the digital potential. This paper presented suggestions for searching for a systematic supporting strategy considering the short-term inhibitory factors (market structure improvement, financial support, etc.) and long-term orientation factors (personnel nurturing, strengthening of supporting role by governmental initiative) for the activation of the domestic mobile market. After measuring the digital potential, we found that domestic mobile SMBs have perceived the importance of the digital potential and have considered and readied themselves for the future market. The present survey found that if suitable digitalization can be accomplished for their firms' products and services, they have the ability and willingness to succeed in the market. However, they have a hard task ahead of them from adigital delivery perspective given the potential for digital disruptions.

  • This study analyzed the effects of job characteristics and empowerment on job satisfaction of ERP system users of small/medium manufacturing & service businesses. In the results of analysis, the detailed factors of job characteristics such as efficiency, authority delegation, and complexity were significant influence factors on ERP users' job satisfaction while the factors of empowerment such as task impact, self-determination, and task meaning had positive effects on users' job satisfaction. However, competence did not have positive effects on job satisfaction. The results of this study showed that most of the ERP system users of small/medium businesses were satisfied with their own jobs.
