A Study On Effectiveness of Digital Inking in the Collaboration Learning with Digital Textbook (디지털교과서를 활용한 협력 학습에서 디지털 잉킹의 효과)

  • This study aims to investigate the effects of problem-solving competency of students when they study with digital textbook contents and digital inking in collaborative learning. The experimental group solved the math problems using basic digital textbook contents and digital inking while the control group solved the math problems using basic digital textbook contents alone. The result of analysis and comparison is as follows, the experimental group with basic digital textbook contents and digital inking showed more improved problem-solving competency than that of the control group with basic digital textbook contents alone, the experimental group showed recorded a higher satisfactory level than that of the control group.

  • 학습자는 교수 학습 상황에서 대부분 배운 내용을 잉킹을 통해 정리한다. 교수자와 학습자 사이에서 잉킹을 통한 상호작용은 매우 중요하며 이와 관련된 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 디지털교과서가 점점 보급되고 있는 상황에서 서책형교과서와 디지털교과서가 공존하는 현재의 과도기적인 교육환경은 일반적인 잉킹과 디지털 잉킹이 공유하고 있다. 이에 디지털 교과서를 활용한 협력적인 학습상황에서 과제를 제시한 후, 일반적인 잉킹과 디지털 잉킹을 학생들에게 그룹별로 각각 적용하도록 환경을 구성하였다. 본 논문에서는 일반적인 잉킹환경과 디지털 잉킹환경이라는 두가지 잉킹 방식을 적용한 후에 학생의 태도 및 판단, 문제 해결의 정확성, 학생의 선호도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다.

  • The digital textbook project which embarked by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has focused on experiments and practices from the school designated by the government. However the previous research about digital textbook provides static interaction models and teaching-learning models analogous to web-based learning based desktop PC even the framework of the digital textbook is based of Tablet PC. This paper provides learning and teaching models for next generation digital textbook which based digital inking techinques for sketcth interface and AR(augmented reality) interactions between teacher and learner. The proposed method of this paper is applied to educational contents and we found positive effect which is supported by statistical experiments. The results of this study in the future and the future development of digital textbooks in effect will be an effective development plan.

  • Recently, the way information is accessed has changed significantly because of the rapid growth of the Internet and a move toward electronic Publishing. With that condition, there in be a need to efficiently determine and extract relevant information from digital documents. This study has proposed that template mining can be used for extracting different kinds of information from digital documents, and described research of reference ]inking system and then built temp]ate for citation information using analysis result of sample articles. Also, this study has shown the potential of template mining to automatically create citation databases.

  • 디지털교과서 시범사업은 미래교육의 시발점으로서 다양한 장점 및 교육적 효과를 제공할 수 있다. 한편 디지털교과서 환경에서는 현실세계와 유사한 태블릿 PC 기반의 펜 스케치를 메타포로 사용하고 있으며, 디지털 잉크 기반의 이러닝은 다양한 교육적 장점을 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 현재 보급되고 있는 디지털교과서 콘텐츠는 펜 기반의 메타포를 고려하지 않은 서책형 교과서의 멀티미디어 버전 형태이며 그 결과 태블릿 PC의 본연의 기능을 충분히 활용하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학습자가 자기주도적으로 전자 펜 기반 스케치 입력방식을 통해 문제를 해결하고 학습의 결과물을 직접 확인할 수 있는 스케치 기반의 인터페이스를 설계 및 적용하여 교수자와 학습자간의 활발한 상호작용을 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 온라인 교육이나 전자 책, 지능형 교육 시스템 등 상호작용이 가능한 교육용 콘텐츠 개발에 확대 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • For the accurate creation of annotation information in a free-form annotation environment, the ambiguity that arises in the analysis stage between the geometric information and annotations needs to be resolved. Therefore, this This paper identifies, analyzes, and proposes presents solutions methods for the ambiguity that can occur between free-form marking and various contexts in XML-based annotation environment. The proposed method is based on context which includes various textual and structure information between free-form marking and annotated part. The proposed method show that the annotated portions areas included in the free-form marking information are more accurate, achieving more accurate exchange results amongst multiple users in a heterogeneous document environment. This study can be effectively applied to eLearning, Cyber-Class, and IETM
