  • 방송과 통신이 융합됨에 따라 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스가 출현하고 있으며 가정에서도 다양하고 질 좋은 홈서비스에 대한 요구가 증대하고 있다. 이러한 다양한 홈 서비스 환경을 제공하기 위해 지능형 홈네트워크 플랫폼이 제안되고 구축되고 있으나 댁내부의 홈게이트웨이나 홈서버 등의 가입자 장치를 통한 응용 프로그램만으로는 다양한 서비스 제공에는 한계가 있다. 따라서, 외부에서 제공되는 다양한 디지털 홈서비스를 사용자에게 편리하고 안전하게 전달하고 사용자의 개입 없이 외부의 서비스 제공자가 개발한 홈서비스를 제공 수 있는 개방형 서비스 관리 구조가 요구된다. 본고에서는 다양한 홈서비스가 서비스 제공자로부터 사용자 장치에 분배, 운용, 관리될 수 있는 환경인 개방형 디지털홈 서비스 분배관리 체계를 소개하고, 홈네트워크 상의 서비스 사용자 뿐 아니라, 외부에서 댁내의 서비스를 이용하고자 하는 사용자에게 편리하고 안전하게 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 디지털 홈 서비스 플랫폼인 분배관리시스템 플랫폼을 제안한다.

  • According as USN's application field is magnified, various results are appearing. Efforts to apply this results in life are progressing. In car field, is used in control that level of significance is less. In home network, is used in a household electric appli-ance control and electric lamp control, security etc.. In factory, is used in process control, and is used in various application because is involved with RFID leader recently. In this paper, patient's status monitoring, USN use wish to. Because USN can utilize existent network, it is system that can transmit various data as that change passed information.Wish to send information that get in health-care board. Information that can get in health-care board is blood pressure, blood sugar, stroke, SPO2, ECG, the activity amount, position. Also, wish to forecast use possibility to involved various service, silver industry with database.

  • 본 논문에서는 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)을 이용하여 보안성 있는 흠 네트워크 가전 단말기 제어 시스템을 개발한다. PDA와 같은 이동 단말기가 발달함에 따라 외부 네트워크에서 흠 네트워크에 접속하여 가전 장비들을 제어하는 연구가 매우 중요하다. 그러나 방화벽만으로 홈 네트워크의 장비를 안전하게 제어하기에는 많은 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 외부네트워크에서 흠 네트워크로의 안전한 접근 및 제어를 위한 가상 사설망(Virtual Private Network)을 흠 네트워크 제어 시스템에 적용하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 다양한 흠 네트워크 단말기에 적용 할 수 있고 홈 네트워크간의 호환성을 높이기 위해서 OSGi(Open Service Gateway Initiative)프레임워크를 사용한다.

European Creator Economy's Web3.0 Business Model Case Study

  • In this paper, we are interested in how creator economy startups allowing creators to make money from doing that they love. So, we look at European creator economy startups among Web3.0 business model landscape surveyed in 2022, because the US is home of Web2.0 giant platforms like YouTube. Totally seventeen European startups are investigated, and the theoretical logic is the disruptive innovation. We firstly review the survey published in 2022 and utilize the theory of the disruptive innovation to design the research framework including questions with each type of the disruptive innovation. In this paper, we firstly show, Kalao and Gem as NFT ecosystem platforms aim at service convenience. Secondly, Talkbase, Passionfroot, Bildr, Customuse, and Earnr aim at providing creator tools for under-skilled customers. Lastly, when it comes direct monetization with a decentralized business model, CrowdPad, Admix, GOALS, Realm, Dropstar, Pianity, Sonomo, Stage11, Miiji, and ReadyPlayerMe are representative. Despite the relatively small data size, the results are meaningful as they contribute to a more profound comprehension of the Web3.0 business models and offer guidance for future research directions.

Exploring Public Digital Innovation using Robotic Process Automation: A Case in National Information Society Agency (RPA를 활용한 공공기관 디지털 혁신에 관한 연구: 한국정보화진흥원 사례를 중심으로)

  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has attracted great attention from diverse home and foreign industries. To provide lessons learned and action principles based on real RPA adoption and application experiences, various case studies have been conducted. However, lacking is an investigation of public sector for RPA adoption, especially in Korea. To reduce the research gap, this study presents a case study of RPA adoption by a representative Korean ICT public organization, NIA (National Information society Agency). By automating a core process, entering a document to a governmental portal service, NIA has achieved various management performances in terms of cost, operation, and business impacts. Especially, by relieving four types of rigidity of public institutions (i.e. structure, human resource, tasks, and rules), Our case study result suggests that RPA enables public institutes to overcome obstacles of pursuing digital transformation. Implications and limitations for future public RPA adopters are offered.

File System Support for Multimedia Streaming in Internet Home Appliances (인터넷 홈서버를 위한 스트리밍 전용 파일 시스템)

  • Due to recent rapid deployment of Internet streaming service and digital broadcasting service, the issue of how to efficiently support streaming workload in so called "Internet Home Appliance" receives prime interests from industry as well as academia. The underlying dilemma is that it may not be feasible to put cutting edge CPU, boards, disks and other peripherals into that type of device. The primary reason is its cost. Usually, Internet Home Appliances has its dedicated usage, e.g. Internet Radio, and thus it does not require high-end CPU nor high-end Va subsystem. The same reasoning applies to I/O subsystem. In Internet Home Appliances dedicated to handle compressed moving picture, it is not equipped with high end SCSI disk with fast rotational speed. Thus, it is mandatory to devise elaborate software algorithm to exploit the available hardware resources and maximize the efficiency of the system. This paper presents our experiences in the design and implementation of a new multimedia file system which can efficiently deliver the required disk bandwidth for a periodic I/O workload. We have implemented the file system on the Linux operating system, and examined itsperformance under streaming I/O workload. The results of the study show that the proposed file system exhibits superior performance than the Linux Ext2 file system under streaming I/O workload. The result of this work not only contribute to advance the state f art file system technology for multimedia streaming but also put forth the software which is readily available and can be deployed. deployed.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest implications for the development of the senior care industry in Korea and how to apply it to the Korean market. For this study, a case analysis study was conducted on the successful business model of 'Driving Miss Daisy®'. For the development of Korea's senior care industry, understanding of senior, establishing infrastructure for community care, and improving the treatment of professional personnel care should be preceded. In order to apply 'Driving Miss Daisy®' to the Korean market, it was suggested that it is necessary to reduce regulations, develop differentiated services, establish linkage systems with various service institutions in the community, establish cooperative models between large and small businesses and startups.

  • DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) is a new media service that can provide CD quality audio, various data service, interactive and high quality mobile communications through popular media such as terrestrial broadcasting, satellite, cable TV, and internet. In this paper, a new EPG(Electronic Program Guide) application model is proposed. The model is based on DAB and combines a DAB receiver and PCs so that it can take advantages of using various multimedia services and plenty of internet contents. The developed EPSD(EPG Provider System on DAB) has Web-based Server/Client structure and povides EPG functionalities to client PCs over internet. Therefore, the DAB receiver can be smaller and cheaper, and can develop abundant data services on internet. It can also provide high quality video services and be expected to become an important component in future home network systems.

  • The basic idea of IoT(Internet of Things) is interconnection and cooperation with a variety of things in real life such as Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID) tags, sensors, mobile phone, etc, through internet. IoT technologies which applied to these fields consist of sensor network technology and middleware, application. Currently, IoT technology is applied to various fields such as health care, home care, automotive, transportation, construction, agriculture, environment, food, and etc, based on its technologies. This paper focuses on discussion of the IoT development trend in game field. In order to achieve this purpose, first, the IoT technologies for game development based on sensor network technology and middleware, application is mentioned. Second, covers serious game and gamification that is expected to be a growing that is expected to be a growing, by applying IoT technologies to the game field. It can help for game developers by using IoT technologies.

  • Internet Service Subscribers Network has a new role of providing various multimedia services to the home. However, there exist several types of distributed subscriber networks using Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), Very high-bit rate Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL), and Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS). The efficient and concentrated network management of those several distributed subscribers networks with resources requires the general network information model, which has and conceptional managed objects independent of type of network and its equipment to manage the integrated subscriber network. This paper presents the general Internet subscribers network model of the managed object to manage that network in the form of integrated hierarchy. This paper adopts the object-oriented development methodology with UML and designs and implements the integrated subscribers NMS of cable data network and VDSL network as examples of the subscriber networks.
