Impact of Digital Technology on the Art Museum Industry's Business Model

  • Digital technology has now pervaded and become an inseparable part of our daily life. The art museum sector is evolving into a business model that adapts to the new digital format due to the requirement for survival and development. This study examines the development state of China's art museum industry and investigates the current business model innovation trend in the art museum industry from three perspectives: reorganization and development of the art museum industry's business model theory; reconstruction of the art museum industry's display and marketing logic; and innovation of the art museum industry's operation mechanism, based on a systematic assessment of domestic and international research. This research can provide reference value for digital technology to drive the innovation of business model in art museum industry. Moreover, the study has important reference significance for the development strategy of art museum industry.

  • 디지털화된 멀티미디어 컨텐츠는 고속의 디지털 네트워크를 통해 제작자로부터 소비자에게 직접 전달되는 형태로 변화하고 있으며, 아울러 디지털 컨텐츠를 보호하기 위한 저작권의 보호라는 커다란 문제와 직면하여 이를 보호하고 디지털 컨텐츠를 활성화하기 위한 노력이 한창 진행 중이다. 또한, 보다 효율적인 체계로의 변화를 요구하고 있는 상황에서 디지털 컨텐츠 분야의 비즈니스에 사용 될 기본적인 매개체인 저작권 문서의 효율성이 강조되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 컨텐츠를 제공하는 특정 시스템에 머무르지 않고 같은 목적을 가진 타 시스템과 컨텐츠를 공유하기 위한 범용적인 비즈니스 모델의 설계가 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 범용 디지털 컨텐츠에 적용 가능한 비즈니스 모델을 설계하였으며 설계된 비즈니스 모델에 따른 저작권 문서 편집 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

Note on Debate over Relationship Between Business Model and Strategy

  • Purpose - This short paper reviews the debate dealing with the relationship between strategy and traditional strategy approach on the one hand, and business models and new business model approach on the other hand and tries to offer useful direction to be more helpful to theoretical discussions. Research design, data, and methodology - This paper makes a theoretical analysis to explain the confusion surrounding the debate, reviewing mainly literature survey papers and finds theoretical conjecture and its limitations in order to present useful direction to the future theoretical work. Result - In order to comprise its diversity, business model studies should consider the characteristics of each firm, sector, and market. Adding further elements which are related to each sector or market, theoretical studies can capture the diverse phenomena related to business model and business model innovation. Conclusion - The traditional strategy perspective can be utilized to the Business model phenomenon in the case of incumbent firms and non-digital sector and existing markets. Meanwhile the new business model perspective can be utilized to business model phenomena in case of start-ups and digital sector and emerging markets. Reconciling two perspectives, the studies dealing with the business model should focus on the characteristics of firms, markets, and knowledge from the perspective of business model innovation.

  • 현재 다양한 디지털 컨텐츠들이 웹기반 정보시스템을 통해 구축되어 있지만, 웹기반 정보시스템의 체계적인 개발 및 유지보수의 부재로 인해 심각한 "웹 위기" 문제가 발생하고 있다. 이를 부분적으로 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 효율적인 웹의 재구성을 위한 웹기반 비즈니스 프로세스 및 항해 모델링 기술을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 BPN(Business Process Net) 모델은 웹기반 비즈니스 프로세스 명세모델이며, 시스템구조 모델, 상태전이 모델 및 사용자대화 모델은 항해명세를 위한 모델이다. 이들은 디지털컨텐츠를 포함하는 웹기반 정보시스템의 설계 및 재구성시에 활용할 수 있다.

Digital Government Application: A Case Study of the Korean Civil Documents using Blockchain-based Resource Management Model

  • The Digital Government landscape is changing to reflect how governments try to discover innovative digital solutions, and how they transform themselves in the process. In addition, with the advent of information and communication technology (ICT), e-governance became an essential part of the government. Among the services provided by the Korean government, the Minwon24 online portal is the most used one. However, it has some processing limitations, namely: (1) it provides a cumbersome document authenticity service; (2) people cannot know what happened even if the agency handles the documents arbitrarily. To address the issues outlined above, blockchain processing can be a good alternative. It has a tremendous potential in that it has maximum transparency and a low risk of being hacked. Resource management is one of the areas where blockchain is frequently used. The present study suggests a new model based on blockchain for Minwon24; the proposed model is a type of resource management. There are three participants: issuer, owner and receiver. The proposed model has two stages: issuing and exchanging. Issuing is creating civil documents on the database, which is BigchainDB in this study. Exchanging, the next stage, is a transaction between the owner and the receiver. Based on this model, the actual program is built with the programming language Python. To evaluate the model, the study uses various criteria and it shows the excellence of the model in comparison to others in prior research.

  • The importance of contents industry is growing up in various industries because of internet and digital economy. Recently, contents industry is challenging to new businesses such as total service industry with digital contents. It is important to classify digital contents to use it in contents industries and information and telecommunication service industries. Previous contents classification frameworks is based on contents quality, business model and application methods. They didn't consider business processes, interfaces of business unit and interactions in contents industries. In this paper, we present core business processes in digital contents industries, a corresponding digital contents classification, and analysis method of digital contents industry.

4차 산업혁명시대의 비즈니스 모델 유형 (Types of business model in the 4th industrial revolution)

  • 4차 산업혁명이 쓰나미와 같이 우리 기업에 큰 변화를 주고 있다. 디지털시대로 대변되는 CPS시스템은 물리적인 영역에서 축적된 데이터를 기반으로 디지털 기술을 통해 과거에 상상하지 못했던 비즈니스를 현실로 만들어 내고 있다. 이로 인해 4차 산업혁명시대의 비즈니스 모델은 이전과는 다른 양상을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비즈니스혁신 이론 연구의 흐름을 시대별 흐름과 쟁점을 분석하였다. 이후 디지털시대의 비즈니스 혁신 모델을 이전 시대와 비교 분석하였다. 이를 기반으로 4차 산업혁명 시대에 적합한 비즈니스 모델을 탐색하였으며, 기존 비즈니스 모델들로는 디지털 시대의 모형을 설명하기에는 많은 어려움이 있었고, 보다 많은 실증적인 연구가 뒷받침 되어야하겠지만 마이클 포터의 다이아몬드 모델이 가장적합함을 확인하였고, 이를 응용하여 4가지 유형의 비즈니스 모델을 도출하여 해당 사례를 살펴보았다. Type A : sharing outcome with customer로 고객 성과 창출 기반에 따라 차등적으로 비용을 지불하는 모델이며, Type B : Value Chain Digitalization로 제품, 서비스 및 SCM 디지털화로 보다 빠르고 저렴한 비용으로 제품, 서비스를 고객에 제공함으로 경쟁우위를 가지는 모델이며, Type C : Digital Platform는 가장 큰 파급효과를 가져다 주는 모델로 디지털 플랫폼 기반의 공유 경제 창출로 새로운 시장을 창출하여 더 확실한 수익성 확보가 가능한 모델이다. 마지막으로 Type D : Sharing Resources는 관련 산업 내 파트너와 협업으로 경쟁 우위 모델 구축하는 모델로 다른 파트너의 핵심 역량과 자신의 핵심 역량을 서로 보완하는 가장 효과적인 성공 방법이라 할 수 있겠다. 4차 산업혁명시대에 다수의 요소 기술과 수많은 유니콘, 데카콘 기업들이 자신들이 속해 있는 산업별 차별적 디지털 경쟁우위를 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 특정 대표기업의 디지털 비즈니스 모델을 상세 분석하여 학문적이고 실무적인 시사점을 도출하는 것 보다는 단편적으로 나열함에 한계가 있었다. 향후 연구에서는 더욱더 구체적인 실증적인 분석을 통해 디지털시대의 비즈니스모델을 더욱더 상세하게 규명할 필요가 있다. 아울러 산업별로 디지털 비즈니스 모델이 상이할 수 있으므로 산업간 비교분석을 해볼 필요 역시 있다.

Banco do Brasil - Individual Entity Customer Satisfaction with the Digital Relationship Model

  • The main objective of this study was to investigate the customer's satisfaction level with the digital relationship model of Banco do Brasil Exclusive Business Offices situated in Rio Grande do Sul. Banco do Brasil is one of the largest Brazilian and global financial institutions and conducted a restructuring customer's relationship model since 2015, creating new specific service structures for certain segments, among them exclusive offices. This research had a qualitative step with an internal documentary analysis about the company and a semi-structured interview with manager's offices, in order to check the strategy and the foundations of business model, as well as identify perceptions and the difficulties in implementing this new structure. The quantitative step held the findings about customer satisfaction level in relation to the quality of services provided by offices, through an electronic survey based on the Servqual Scale developed by Parasuraman et al. (1988), which measures the difference between customer's expectations and perception in five dimensions: tangibility, reliability, understanding, safety and empathy. The results shown that Banco do Brasil customers' are satisfied with services offered through the digital model and the new business structure, in which is offered a humanized service together with the best technology. It was found, also, that digital probably would not replace the physical world, but they complement one another. Digital offices and physical agencies will coexist, improving value proposition delivery and better customers experience, satisfy them and build their loyalty.

The consequently quick doctor decision and efficient manufacturing environment construction are demanded and Product Life cycle becomes shortening, the e-Business from the digital management environment which changes suddenly the necessity is plentifully raising its head with plan of competitive power security of the enterprise and management renovation. Successful of the e-business model and failure instances there is a depth from the research which it sees and after trying to investigate, it originated to the advancement of digital environment the strategies and to sleep against the successful model of the e-business for a new management renovation presentation it tries it does.

디지털뱅킹 플랫폼 기반 핀테크 사례 연구: 코스콤 (A Study on Digital Banking Platform-based FinTech Case: Koscom)

  • Recently, in the global financial transaction field, global transactions using computer systems and server hubs between foreign exchanges beyond the one-dimensional offline transactions and two-dimensional online transactions have been actively conducted. In the previous research by Lee Hyung-wook and Lee Min-jae (2018), as the globalization has accelerated following the development of digital technology and the expansion of ubiquitous communication network, the role of companies, the attribute of economic value creation and economic structure are being reorganized. It is said that O2O (Online to Offline) transactions are increasing due to the development. As a result, a new financial transaction paradigm is emerging that solves the inconveniences of existing financial services and enhances speed and convenience. Considering the global network trend and the rapidly developing and evolving digital bank environment, the necessity of utilizing the business platform model is emerging. However, despite this necessity, there are very limited cases in which such an attempt has been applied in practice. Accordingly, this study seeks to explore the business platform of the new financial transaction system. Specifically, the case study systematically examines the actual implementation of a unique network connection model with Koscom's global investment bank, which is currently in charge of the domestic financial transaction system, and improves ICT innovation performance and process through this. I would like to suggest a solution. In particular, this study analyzed a variety of business model construction and use cases by pursuing a platform connection with digital banks, which has recently been increasingly in demand. Therefore, this study intends to pursue the original and long-term profitability of the company by utilizing ICT innovation and platform business model, and also analyzes the convenience and excellence of trading for institutional and individual investors using the platform of digital bank. The implications of this study are significant in that it explores and explores the actual cases of ICT innovation and additional digital bank platform-connected business models based on this, and suggests a unique and preemptive business strategy of the company in the future.
