Today diving activity and technology are indispensable for underwater technology and offshore engineering. And then diving business is still more important to business of subsea. This study surveyed the issue of diving activity in Korea as for compared foreign diving activity. This paper analyzed the status of diving business that include commercial and sport-leisure diving business and development of commercial divers in Korea. This paper reputed the object, the necessity and the character of commercial divers. For the purpose of this study is considered in order to analyze the environment of commercial divers and propose the planning for industrial diving business. Under the present circumstance in Korea this development planning study may be restricted. but the effective planning to activate Korean commercial diving business is abstracted as follows; First, establishment of new course, grade, certificate and licence test for diver is a pre-requisite factor for the successful enactment. Second, the political assistance of concerned government authority is needed. Third, establishment of Korean diving school and medical center for divers are strongly required. Forth, setting up the department of diving activity in university.

The die development of the high-strength steel sheet has big difference on the formability compared with the general panels. Especially, the springback after stamping of the high-strength steel sheets shows big problem. In this study, for the die development of the high-strength steel sheets, write about examples reducing the lead time and the expense of the die development after CAD modification with the result of the springback analysis after finding the best design planning as several times stamping analysis.

Suzhou historic gardens include classical gardens, places of interest and palaces built by hills and waters. They are geographically distributed in the ancient city and the suburbs. Considered as both chinese and world class historic cultural heritage, these precious tourist resources have been included in the systematic urban planning of Suzhou and they are an integral part of the urban green plan and symbol and characteristic of the urban view. These gardens are also important for tourist industry-one of the pillar industries Suzhou. Therefore, historic gardens play an especially important role in the city's continuous development and it becomes an important task to make good protection, planning, construction and management of these historic gardens.

The urbanity of high-rise buildings does not simply reference their physical characteristics but also encompasses their impact on the overall urban environment and the daily lives of citizens. This involves the economic benefits, social development, urban culture and public activities that high-rise buildings bring to a city. High-rise buildings are an important aspect of urban development and play a crucial role in providing public services in high-density urban habitats. However, to ensure that their contribution to the city is positive, it is essential to take into account their impact on surrounding buildings and the built environment. This paper analyzes their urban attributes and value system and summarizes their current development status. In short, as the demand for public services continues to evolve, it is necessary for high-rise buildings to keep up with these changes by continuously enhancing their urbanity.

This paper presents the preliminary observations of an ongoing study that is looking into organisational changes that are externally imposed using the institutional theory. The study population are the government-linked companies involved in housing development (GLCHD) in Malaysia. For the purpose of this paper, only two are highlighted. From secondary sources, elements of changes that have exerted on these two GLCHD over the last six years and the internal changes that have taken place during the same time period were identified. The tentative conclusion is that external environment contributed to organisational change in the two GLCHD.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the business performance determinants of private consulting firms supporting bottom-up local development projects in rural areas. Under the shortage of well-trained rural development professionals, Private consulting firms support rural development projects driven by the residents. Considering the important role for consulting firms to play in the success in rural development projects, it becomes necessary to review the circumstances of consulting market on rural development projects. This study targeted 80 companies that are listed in the book rural development consulting firms. Analysis showed that factors influencing the business performance are not professional competencies but other external factors. The implications based on the above results need to be considered for policy-making to ensure that consulting company selection must be guaranteed of the consulting firms'capability by detailed fields of consulting firms' capability, and the training system for rural development experts must be formed.

This paper describes the development of an integrating method for process planning and scheduling activities for block assembly in shipbuilding. A block is composed of several steel plates and steel sections with the predetermined shapes according to the ship design. The parts which constitute the block are manufac- tured by cutting and/or bending operations, which are termed as machining operation in this paper. The machining operation is the first process for block assembly which influences the remaining block assembly processes. Thus process planning and scheduling for machining operation to manufacture parts for block are very important to meet the assembly schedule in the shipyard. An integrating method for process plan- ning and scheduling is developed by introducing the concept of distributed process planning and scheduling composed of initial planning, alternative planning and final planning stages. In initial planning stage, nesting parts information and machining emthods are generated for each steel plate. In alternative plan- ning stage, machine groups are selected and workcenter dispatching information is generated. In final planning stage, cutting sequences are determined. The integrated system is tested by case study. The result shows that the integrated system is more efficient than existing manual planning system.

According to the need for objectivity and convenience the whole planning process is devided into a secries of 8 systematic stages. But it is an unending upward spiral of incremented efforts toward improvement. So many activities should be carried out concurrently, providing a mutual supportive flow back and forth between various stages of the process depending on local conditions and requirements. The eight stages are: (1) Planning the Planning and Developing Planning Competence (2) Statements of Policy and Broad Goals (3) Data Gathering (4) Priority Statement (5) Statement of Major Alternative Proposals (6) Development of Detailed Plan (7) Implementation as a Part of the Planning Process (8) Evaluation The frame and function of the planning machinery must be adjusted to local conditions, and also flexibility is desirable, especially at the start, when adaptations are more necessary and more frequent.

The purpose of this paper is to purpose methods and procedures by which we can set up technology planning scheme essential for R'||'&'||'D(or technology) planning in public sector (governmental and government-sponsored institutions), and can develop and select "main R'||'&'||'D projects" which are crucial to R'||'&'||'D planning, were quite specifically discussed in case of I'||'&'||'T(Information '||'&'||' Telecommunications) sector, so that they may not remain theoretical but may be practically applicable to real R'||'&'||'D programs. In this paper, the concept of technology planning was defined as a procedure for establishing nominal planning to acquire technologies efficiently for a specific sector. More detailed definition optimal technology-acquisition strategy, i.e., analyzing technological development '||'&'||' environ-ment, establishing R'||'&'||'D objectives as promising technology opportunities, selecting main R'||'&'||'D projects, allocating resources and so on."The"main R'||'&'||'D projects by technology sectors and by planning phases and then deciding on priority. Scoring method was rsed in assessment phase. Summing up, this paper suggested technology planning scheme of methods and procedures for sorting out required technologies, developing and assessing public R'||'&'||'D projects, and finally selecting main R'||'&'||'D projects.
