It seems most important for a manufacturing company to be well aware of its relationship with suppliers. This is why it is essential to analyze and control the structural relationship among CEO's characteristics, relations between suppliers and manufacturers and new product development performances affected by such relations. The present study may be summed up as follows: First, from the analysis of characteristics of manufacturing company's CEO and relations between suppliers and manufacturers, it could be verified that CEO's characteristics exercised influence upon sharing of product development process and upon cooperation for technical manpower, but not upon sharing of core technologies, signifying the fact that nothing could be more important than the role of CEO who has strong will to improve his or her relations with suppliers; and Second, from the analysis of relations between suppliers and manufacturers as well as relations between management and new product development performances, it became evident that both management performance and product development performance were affected by sharing of product development process. It was also known that cooperation for technical development process had influence upon the product development performance but not upon the management performance. Furthermore, the analysis showed that both management performance as well as product development performance were affected by sharing of core technologies.

A performance specification states requirements in terms of the required results, such as performance, environment and interchangeability, but without stating the methods for achieving the required results, such as material and process. therefore the performance specification is applied to attain economic efficiency and high reliability by using the advanced commercial Technology for the weapon systems and The development of performance specification and conversion into performance specification have been activated in the advanced nations. The Ministry of National Defence of Korea has regulated the specification to make performance type in developing specification and prepared performance specification guide. but the result of the development of and conversion into performance specification is very unsatisfactory, To efficiently develop and convert into performance specification, this study gives the way of market research, the creation of the performance specification from development of weapon system and part localization, the process and method for conversion of detail specification into performance specification, the use of hybrid type of performance and detail specification.

The purpose of this research is to look into the effects of organizational culture and training and development on work discipline and performance. The data for this study was directly obtained from employees of a municipal water corporation in Medan, Indonesia, with a total of 204 participants. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied for data analysis. The results showed that organizational culture and training and development positively and significantly affect performance. However, organizational culture and training & development positively affect employees' work discipline, albeit insignificantly. The findings of this study suggest that organizational culture and training and development play a critical role in shaping work discipline and performance in organizations in Indonesian settings. Therefore, the finding of this research engage all leaders in the organization to conduct training and development more intensively. Although it seems to have costly, this will have a good impact on the organization in the long run. Furthermore, the authors also suggest the creation of a solid organizational culture for every organization to foster excellent performance. However, each organization should choose its own acceptable organizational culture because it is possible that the organizational culture that works in one context does not work in another.

The introduction of high speed railway(KTX) in Korea after the Korean high speed train through the KTX-II of the development is being run is made. Thus the demand for the railway technology advances and high performance, Korean government promoted the development of the next-generation high speed train system(HEMU-400X). In addition to the production of train system essential element of the train through an on-line test is to evaluate the performance. Through the on-line test of the train in order to evaluate the performance test items should be selected first and need to the test procedures are required. In addition, an Overall Measuring System(OMS) to measure the performance of the train system should be established. In this study for the on-line test of the HEMU-400X test items was selected for detailed measurements and performance evaluation of a comprehensive and efficient trains to test an OMS for the development are discussed.

This paper defines measurement index items and weight of the index for the purpose of developing a performance measurement index that balancedly measures performance of B2B electronic commerce. The deductive research is used for the development of measurement index items and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method for the development of weight of the index. This paper has four performance measurement perspectives-finance, partners, business process and human resources, which based the existing researches of balanced performance measurement. This researchers developed eleven second level criteria and twenty-six indexes under four perspectives through the deductive method and expert interviews, weighted on the perspectives, criteria and indexes in accordance with the forms of e-marketplace-vertical and horizontal. As a result, the most important indexes are the maintenance of partners and the efficiency of operation process in the vertical e-marketplace. In the horizontal e-marketplace, the collection of partners, development and prediction processes are more important than other indexes.

The satellite-based ionospheric model consists of local first-order plane function parameters for individual satellites and provides excellent accuracy in the flat ionospheric environment of the Korean Peninsula. This paper analyzes the performance of such model under the rapid changes in the ionosphere. Rapid changes in the ionosphere were observed in Korea from September to October 2014, and a satellite-based ionosphere model was applied to Wide Area Differential GPS (WADGPS) to analyze the navigation performance and the performance of estimating ionospheric delay errors. After processing the test data, it was confirmed that there was a deterioration in navigation performance and extrapolation performance in low-latitude areas and analyzed the cause.

This study is a study on the effect of patent management on the performance of new business development, focusing on fusion expert collaboration. In the past, most studies on patent management have been influenced by the quantitative patent index on the business performance. Therefore, research on the effect of patent management on the performance of new business development through the cooperation of fusion experts was very insufficient. Therefore, this study examined the influence of existing patent management on the performance of new business development and the causal relationship between the influence of patent management on new business development performance, focusing on fusion expert collaboration. The results of the hypothesis empirical analysis are as follows. First, patent management showed positive (+) influence on convergence expert cooperation. Patents management has a positive effect on fostering convergence specialists and utilizing convergence experts. Second, patent management has a positive effect on new business development performance. Patent management has a positive effect on the success of the business, the achievement of target sales, the development of new markets, the development of new technologies, and the degree of reflection of customer requirements. Third, patent management mediated by convergence expert cooperation has a negative effect on financial aptitude among new business development outcomes. The results of this study are as follows. First, it is concluded that patent management through mediation of convergence expert cooperation has a positive effect on non - financial performance of new business development performance. Financial performance includes business success and achievement of target sales. Non-financial performance includes new technology development and new market development. Therefore, in order to continuously generate business performance of domestic convergence new business development companies, it suggests that we should make efforts to be linked with new business development performance through revitalization of patent management centered on convergence expert cooperation that has positive (+) influence.

In this paper, an in-flight prediction method of thrust profiles for solid rocket motors is proposed. Actually, it is very difficult to have detailed information about the performance of the rocket motors beforehand because it is quite sensitive to combustion environments. To overcome this problem, we have developed an algorithm for generating in-flight prediction of rocket motor performance in realistic environments via a reference burnback profile and accelerations measured at a short time-interval just after launch. The performance is evaluated through a lot of flight test results.

This paper was done as an exploratory study aiming to identify the relationship between small group characteristic factors and perceived performance in the Village Development Committee (VDC) in Saemaul Undong project in Laos. The data were gathered from 166 members in 17 VDCs in Vientian province, however 135 questionnaires were used in analysis. Structure Equation Model was applied in the analysis with Amos 21. The major finding of this study were as follows; firstly decision making was more influenced by task cohesion than social cohesion, secondly organizational citizen behavior was influenced by both task cohesion and social cohesion. However, social cohesion had more influence than task cohesion, thirdly the VDC members learned their technical knowledge from decision-making process, and influenced to their perceived performance level and to VDC sustainablity, and fourthly in overall, committee members implemented their jobs based on task-oriented.

In order to accomplish the successful performance management of the national research and development programs, it is necessary to establish the legal system that provide a institutional foundation and to set up and practice the relative substantial operating system. This paper aims to study the problems and improvement measures of the Performance Management System in National R&D Programs. For this purpose, the development of legal system on the performance management in national R&D programs was surveyed, the problems in existing laws and ordinances on the performance management were analyzed, and lastly the improvement measures on the legal system of the performance management were suggested. The legal system of performance management is being composed of and managed with The Framework Act On Science And Technology that prescribed the national science and technology policy direction, and Act On The Performance Evaluation And Management Of National Research And Development Projects, Etc. that prescribed the basic policies of performance management process and methods, and Regulations On The Management, Etc. Of The National Research And Development Projects that prescribed the concrete methodologies on performance management. Results of the study, it is necessary that the performance management laws and ordinances need improvement of Compatibility, the object and range of performance management system extend more widely to the whole field of national R&D programs in principle, and the performance management process and methods improve reasonably considering the goal and direction of national R&D policy.
