It is noted that the expressionistic feature appears as one of characteristic phenomena for representing the regional culture and economic level. In architecture, it seems to be difficult to define the expressionism in a concrete way because of lots of meanings the word originally has. In this study, the expressionistic feature is defined as a mode which impresses the users emotionally with strength or as a touching and stimulating one, contrary to the designing conception which pursues only the rationality and the functionality. These features can be expressed as designing methods such as organic form, adoption of natural design factor, decisive opening of space or its extreme closing, contrast of mutually opposite components, or application of basic design components.These methods described above are largely categorized into spatial form, openness, scale and design component and also are studied for each example within the scope of these categories. This study has significance in conceptualizing this expressionistic tendency and in analyzing some detailed aspects for expression.

It would be investigated how to take advantage of and structure color as form creation of modern architecture and tool of conception. Through this study, it was analyzed that color was introduced actively in the beginning stage of form creation as an image, as collection of data and analysis system, and as creation system of diagram. Also, it was used from the model making stage with experimental device, and was handling to experimental system of various materials and substances. Therefore, with the characteristics of color's originality, color was dealt to space creation system by tool from the process-oriented thought and had given the absolute value in form creation process. Meaning is that the color to be used as a tool in the planning contains a lot of possibilities and values in the architecture planning. Therefore the development of the system without initial planning of overall color scheme could affect the harmony and integration of the developed architecture. And the system could loose many vital concepts in the creation of the form. In execution of thinking process through the color, it'll be ensured that we can acquire the much better and more various result.

최근 국내 공동주택 골조공사에 있어서 소음저감형 알루미늄 거푸집의 활용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 개발된 소음저감형 알루미늄 거푸집은 복잡한 작업프로세스로 인해 작업 생산성이 저하되고, 특히 설치 해체 작업 시 알루미늄의 물성으로 인해 발생하는 소음을 여전히 방지하지 못한다는 문제점을 지니고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 새로운 소음저감형 알루미늄 거푸집의 최적 개념디자인을 제안하고, 최적 개념디자인을 토대로 제작된 워킹목업(Working Mock-up)의 기술적 타당성을 검토하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 기존 알루미늄 거푸집의 분석을 통해 새로운 형태의 소음저감형 알루미늄 거푸집 개넘디자인 3개 안을 도출하였으며, 현장 전문가 설문조사를 통해 AHP 분석을 수행하였다. AHP 분석 기법을 활용하여 Trade-off Analysis를 수행한 결과, 안전성(0.52)과 작업편의성(0.54) 부분에서 가장 높은 가중치 값이 도출된 '드롭다운 동바리와 가변빔이 적용된 소음저감형 시스템 알루미늄 거푸집'이 최적 개념디자인으로 선정되었다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 소음저감형 알루미늄 시스템 거푸집의 최적 개념디자인은 기존 소음저감형 시스템 거푸집의 문제점을 해결하고, 실질적인 소음저감은 물론 작업 편의성 및 노무자의 안전성이 제고된 실제 소음저감형 알루미늄 거푸집의 개발에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Purpose : The purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of hospital architecture constructed in each periods and identify the changing process of hospital architecture in Korea since 1945. Methods : Literature review was conducted while the data of hospitals had been collected and the subject of investigation were selected. The important point of analysis is about design conception, site plan, block plan and hospital form. Results : The characteristics of hospital architecture are identified in each periods. Developed by private sector, hospitals have enlarged their beds and sizes under the competitive environments. In terms of size and external shape, vertical form has become a dominant scene of hospital forms in Korea. Among the dominance of tower-on podium, various block plans have been adopted with hospital streets. Also a few cases of horizontal disintegrated form was introduced. Implications : This paper could be the basic data to organize the history of Korean Hospital Architecture, and insufficient data should be supplemented continuously.

This research examined the design characteristics of Madeleine Vionnet, a female fashion designer who left an enormous legacy and made a great contribution to the high added-value fashion industry. Her techniques can be dividing in to three types: the bias cutting, the design by geometrical methods, and the classical style of ancient Greek clothing. This research also intended to study the design cases in which Vionnet's drapery images are applied to modern fashion, mainly the haute couture works that have appeared at Dior collections since 2000. In terms of the characteristics of Madeleine Vionnet's design, First, she produced the best achievement in dress and ornament history by developing a new technique called bias cutting. Second, her work was groundbreaking because it changed the previously planar approach to the female body into a solid conception by cutting and connecting geometrical pieces in the form of quadrangle, triangle, and a quarter-circle. As a result, her works depicted feminine beauty to the fullest extent through the combination of the human body, excellent materials, and the most sophisticated technology and personal skill. Third, her approach was a classical style tinged with the Greek costume image. With this style, which was born by reinterpreting the key tone of the Greek epoch in a modern way, and transcending and even changing tradition, she created a form of beauty that only she could.

The attempts in pursuit of humanity in contemporary architecture brought about meaning to the 'Locality as a main conception which opens new potentiality at this confused period. Contemporary housing design should meet the indigenous ‘Locality’ of the building sites environment. An adequate adaptation to the ‘Locality’ will bring more efficient use, lower running-costs, and longer durability of original beauty of the houses. Our contemporary houses should admit general requirements at this time and they should be expressed through not only space but also form and design. Finally, we must find the direction of elevation planning of Korean contemporary houses, inquiring into design elements of ‘Locality’ in the view point of transformation and analyzing how the elements are represented in contemporary houses. This research was aimed to find how to optimize an elevation design of houses in adapting to the Korean indigenous ‘Locality’ in order to create a domestic housing design suitable for Korean life style, however, one cannot ignored elements of the Korean traditional mode of living.

We intend to illustrate how contemporary architects have conceptualized spaces with words. Language practice is so much important work for the contemporary architects as designing realistic building (material practice) As this point of view we need to interest in theses of architects which contains their unique ideas an characters. The purpose of this study is for understanding how contemporary japanese architects embody through special conception when day design the mixed wooden construction and for looking for the possibility of the development of it. As a result the mixed wooden construction candy understood as an expression form how an architects things about relationship between parts and parts, parts and the whole and the character of materials that consist it and such relationship is determined by the requirement of space.

The purpose of this study is to find out the expression style of space in Rietveld's early works in comparison with Mondrian's paintings. Through investigating the development of their works and analyzing the composition and disposition type of elements such as point, line, plane, color in the selected works, we can draw the following conclusions. .First, Rietveld pursues the dissolution of traditional volume and the de-composition of elements as Mondrian does. Second, the painterly property of plane is emphasized by the projection of separately floating elements on the picture plane. Third, the separating the layer of lines from the layer of planes and the re-combination of these two layers present the superimpositional image of three-dimensional objects. This leads into new conception of architectural space and develops the transparency and the extension of plan in modem architecture.

Maximalism in modern fashion has emerged as an anti-conception against Minimaslism which dominated the trend of 21st century. Contrary to the traits of Minimalism which are oriented to constraint and editing, Maximalism expresses human sensitivity, concern to tradition and other culture, and instinctive desire for decoration. The trend of Maximalism is reflected in various areas of fashion and shoes design, and its influence is still enlarging. This idea for designing shoes come from analyzing the related documentaries, fashion magazines and internet sites since 2005, when the maximalism was main concepts in worldwide fashion trends. The traits of Maxmalistic trend expressed in shoes are decentralizing, pluralisml, sensitivity, etc. The molding constituents, such as form, material, color, accessary decoration, have been expressed as diversified and differentiated traits of shoes design through molding modes such as exaggeration and concentration, distortion and modification, removal and mixing-up. This study takes advantage of this opportunity to grasp the diversified and colorful trend and molding traits of Maximalim expressed in shoes design, close up the molding value of shoes design, and finally enlarge the realm of aesthetic expression of shoes design.
