  • This paper describes a design of hash processor which can execute new hash algorithm, SHA-3 and extendable-output function (XOF), SHAKE-256. The processor that consists of padder block, round-core block and output block maximizes its performance by using the block-level pipelining scheme. The padder block formats the variable-length input data into multiple blocks and then round block generates SHA-3 message digest or SHAKE256 result for multiple blocks using on-the-fly round constant generator. The output block finally transfers the result to host processor. The hash processor that is implemented with Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA can operate up to 220-MHz clock frequency. The estimated maximum throughput is 5.28 Gbps(giga bits per second) for SHA3-512. Because the processor supports both SHA-3 hash algorithm and SHAKE256 algorithm, it can be applicable to cryptographic areas such as data integrity, key generation and random number generation.

Nursing information CDA are included coding systems of nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing activity and outcomes. And, we have developed CDA generator for active generation of XML document. This study aims to facilitate the optimum care by providing health information required for individuals to nursing specialists in real-time, to help improvements in health, to improve the quality of productive life. This study has the following significance. First, an expansion and redefining process conducted, founded on the HL7 clinical document architecture and reference information model, to apply international standards to Korean contexts. Second, we propose a next-generation web based hospital information system that is based on the clinical document architecture. In conclusion, the study of the clinical document architecture will include an electronic health record (EHR) and a clinical data repository (CDR), and also make possible healthcare information-sharing among various healthcare institutions.

  • An energy balance analysis is conducted for a 30 t thrust level liquid rocket engine. The relations between thrust and combustion pressure, between thrust and propellant flow rate, and between combustion pressure and fuel pump pressure rise are compared against those indicated by a published database of the existing rocket engines. A combustion pressure higher than the old design value is obtained, implying that the present design is high-performance oriented. The thrust to propellant flow rate ratio is the same as that of the existing engines, indicating that the specific impulse performance is at the usual level. The fuel pump pressure rise is found to be slightly high when the combustion pressure is considered, and it is attributed to the pressure budget of the present ground test engine not being optimized.

  • This paper proposes a RSA crypto-processor for embedded systems. The architecture of the RSA crypto-processor should be used relying on Big Montgomery algorithm, and is supported by configurable bit size. The RSA crypto-processor includes a RSA control signal generator, an optimal Big Montgomery processor(adder, multiplier). We use diverse arithmetic unit (adder, multiplier) algorithm. After we compared the various results, we selected the optimal arithmetic unit which can be connected with ARM core-processor. The RSA crypto-processor was implemented with Verilog HDL with top-down methodology, and it was verified by C language and Cadence Verilog-XL. The verified models were synthesized with a Hynix 0.25${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, CMOS standard cell library while using Synopsys Design Compiler. The RSA crypto-processor can operate at a clock speed of 51 MHz in this worst case conditions of 2.7V, 10$0^{\circ}C$ and has about 36,639 gates.

  • An L-band Linear Accelerator System for E-beam sterilization is under construction for bio-technology application. The klystron-modulator system as an RF microwave source has an important role as major components to offer the system reliability for long time steady-state operations. A PFN line type pulse generator with a peak power of 71.5-MW, $7\;{\mu}s$, 285 pps is required to drive a high-power klystron. The high power pulse transformer has a function of transferring pulse energy from a pulsed power source to a high power load. The pulse transformer producing a pulse with a peak voltage of 275 kV is required to produce 30-MW peak and 60 kW average RF output power at the frequency of 1.3-GHz. We have designed the high power pulse transformer with 1:13 step-up ratio. The peak and average power capability is 71.5-MW (275 kV, 260 A at load side with $7\;{\mu}s$ pulse width) and 130 kW, respectively. In this paper, we present measurements and its analysis on the design parameters, and an initial test result as well as a design concept on the high-power pulse transformer.

  • In order to provide realistic traffic to the cyber warfare training system, it is necessary to prepare a traffic distribution plan in advance and to create a training data set using normal/threat data sets. This paper presents the design and implementation results of a method for creating a traffic distribution plan and a training data set to provide background traffic like a real environment to a cyber warfare training system. We propose a method of a traffic distribution plan by using the network topology of the training environment to distribute traffic and the traffic attribute information collected in real and simulated environments. We propose a method of generating a training data set according to a traffic distribution plan using a unit traffic and a mixed traffic method using the ratio of the protocol. Using the implemented tool, a traffic distribution plan was created, and the training data set creation result according to the distribution plan was confirmed.

  • The KNUI (Korea Nuclear Unit 1) loss of offsite power transient as a design-base accident has been simulated using the RELAP5/MOD1/NSC computer code. The analysis is carried out using the best-estimate methodology, but the sequence and its assumptions are based on the evaluation methodology th at emphasizes conservatism. Important thermal-hydraulic parameters such as average temperature, steam generator level and pressurizer water volume are compared with the results in the KNU1 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). The present analysis gives much lower RCS average temperature and pressurizer water volume, and much higher S/G water volume at the turnaround point, which may be considered to be additional improved safety margins. This is expected since the present analysis deals with the best-estimate thermal-hydraulic models as well as the initial conditions on a best-estimate basis. These additional safety margins may contribute to further validate the safety of the KNU1 in this type of accidents(Decrease in Heat Removal by the Secondary System).

  • In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of HTML Filter to provide wireless internet service efficiently. The HTML Filter translates the Web documents written by HTML into the WML documents for portable wireless equipments automatically that are suitable for the WAP environment. The HTML Filter consists of "the HTML lexical analyzer" which gathers HTML source into token units, "the HTML syntax analyzer" which takes the lexical units from the lexical analyzer and analyses grammar for the source, "the HTML abstract parser tree" which can represent meaning of HTML sources more effectively called an intermediate code, and "the target code generator" which can convert the abstract parser tree into WML documents. The proposed translating method using ordinary compiler technology provides more easy and effective than the existing converters, and will be applied to other wireless language translating methods on wireless internet.

  • Electric pump system is new technology for next generation propulsion unit. The system has simple structure which dose not need gas generator, injector and turbine and might better pump for low cost and low payload rocket. Therefore, this paper suggests conceptual design of electric-pump Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) which has 50 kW & 50,000 RPM for rocket. To satisfy the system's requirement, electromagnetic analysis is conducted for suitable inner and outer diameter of stator and rotor which uses 4000 Gauss cylinder magnet and Inconel 718 can to fix whole rotor. Futhermore, to confirm rotational vibration, rotordynamics analysis is conducted. By this analysis, Campbell diagram is printed. From the diagram, natural frequency could be determined for the only motor and dynamo meter test bench.
