  • 본 논문에서는 현재까지 개발된 액체산소, 케로신을 추진제로 하는 액체로켓엔진시스템 개발을 위한 엔진시스템 및 가스발생기와 터보펌프 등의 주요 엔진 구성품의 개발 결과를 살펴보았으며, 액체로켓엔진 개발 시험의 중간 단계로서 연소기를 제외한 터보펌프 등의 엔진 주요 구성품을 이용한 터보펌프+가스발생기 연계시험 수행을 위한 준비로서 터보펌프+가스발생기 연계시험의 시험기 및 시험설비 구성이 제시되었으며, 연계 시험 작동 영역에 대한 시스템 해석결과도 제시하였다.

  • 가스발생기 후연소 액체로켓엔진의 특징을 설명하고 이를 모사할 수 있는 프로그램을 작성하였다. 프로그램은 Matlab를 사용하여 작성되었으며 GUI환경을 갖추고 있기 때문에 특별히 사용방법을 익히지 않고 바로 사용할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 작성된 프로그램의 검증을 위해서 선진국 엔진과 비교하였으며 대부분 1% 이내의 오차로 비교적 실제 엔진과 가깝게 모사할 수 있는 것을 확인하였다. 다만 압력부분에서 많은 오차를 보이고 있는데 이는 실제 엔진보다 공급시스템에 차압이 낮게 주어졌기 때문으로 판단된다.

  • During the Pre-service Inspection for Wolsong Unit 3&4 in 1997/1998 respectively, 17 Distorted Roll Transition indications(over expanded beyond tubesheet secondary face) were identified at the Unit 4 (S/G B, D). Six(6) tubes out of these tubes were plugged in 1998. However the first Periodic Inspection identified additional 110 indications in 1999 and 2000. The additionally identified 110 indication call, not reported at the Pre-service Inspection, are; 2 Not-Finally-Expanded-Tubes and 108 Distorted Roll Transition tubes. Design limit of each Steam Generator tube Plugging is 6.4%. Plugging was performed by the Steam Generator manufacturer under the warranty. When Distorted Roll Transition indications were first identified on the Unit 4 in 1998 the degree of Over-expansion was measured using an inner dial-gage to make the disposition of Nonconformance report. 2 Not-Finally-Expanded-Tubes were plugged and 10 tubes out of 108 Distorted Roll Transition Tubes were also plugged as a preventive measure.

네트워크 에뮬레이션을 이용한 GOOSE 트래픽 발생기 (GOOSE Traffic Generator Using Network Emulation)

  • IEC 61850은 변전소 자동화 시스템의 설계, 설치 및 유지하는 비용을 줄이는 프로토콜이다. IEC 61850에서 사용되는 GOOSE 트래픽은 변전소 제어, 보호, 자동화를 위해 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 시뮬레이터인 NS-3에서 제공하는 프로토콜과 실제 통신장비에서 제공하는 프로토콜을 함께 사용하여, NS-3의 네트워크 에뮬레이션 기능을 이용한 GOOSE 트래픽 발생기를 구현하였다. 발생한 GOOSE 트래픽을 Wireshark으로 분석하였고, 정확히 발생됨을 확인하였다. 네트워크 토폴로지의 스위치 수에 따른 GOOSE 트래픽 지연 측정을 하였다. 본 논문에서의 GOOSE 트래픽 발생기는 실제 변전소 환경을 실험할 때 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Analysis of Induction Motor-pump System Supplied by a Photovoltaic Generator for Agricultural Irrigation in Southeastern Anatolian Region of Turkey

  • In agricultural systems, significant amount of energy is consumed during irrigation periods. Therefore operating irrigation systems with electrical energy produced by solar energy is very important. It is be possible to operate irrigation systems which have small-pump power like drip-irrigation with electrical energy produced by solar energy. Electrical energy produced by photovoltaic panels can vary from the estimated value due to environmental factors. Consequently analysis of a real system's performance is important. Thus, more correct projections can be made for the systems which will be designed. In this study, induction motor-pump mechanism for drip-irrigation system is operated with photovoltaic generator. Solar energy capacity of the established system is evaluated by measurements in irrigation periods. By means of simulations, power values produced by system and gained from the actual system are compared. Additionally the performance of induction motor is analyzed with the help of the driver system that increases the efficiency and controls the motor. As regards of results, design values of the drip-irrigation systems fed with solar energy in Southeastern Anatolian Regions of Turkey are obtained. Performance results of induction motor controlled with driver are also provided.

  • 디지털 콘텐츠 산업 즉, 영상 및 게임, 가상현실 등에서는 실시간으로 불꽃, 폭발, 연기, 액체, 눈, 비, 등의 특수효과를 시각적으로 사실적이고 화려한 영상으로 제공하기 위해 입자시스템을 사용한다. 디지털 콘텐츠 및 가상현실 제작자들과 응용 프로그램 개발자들에게 손쉽게 다양한 매개변수를 변경할 수 있는 인터페이스를 갖춘 GUI 환경이 제공된다면 다양한 디지털 콘텐츠에 사용자가 원하는 특수효과를 실시간으로 제공할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 개발자에게 프로그래밍 기반을 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 콘텐츠 제작자 와 가상현실 응용 프로그램 개발자가 저비용 고품질의 디지털 콘텐츠를 제작할 수 있도록 유체속성, 기상현상 등의 다양한 특수효과를 손쉽게 적용할 수 있는 특수효과 생성기를 설계한다.

  • POSTECH Graduate School of Wind Energy is trying to upgrade the PMSG used for Unison U50 to 900 kW class. Intensive optimization efforts are carried out the reduce the axial size and total weight of the generator while increasing the rated output to 900 kW. The generator features 3.32m stator inner radius, 671mm stator length, 84 pole, 25 rated rpm and 31.6kN/$m^2$ shear force density. To reduce the gross weight, the stronger magnetic material is applied with optimal magnet size resulting lowest cogging torque. Also, instead of stator skewing the stator, the magnet position along the circumference is optimized to further reduce the cogging torque. This scheme eliminates the stator skewing procedure and may enhance the productivity. This method also reduces the total harmonic distortion. In this report, upgrade method, no-load line to line voltage and phase voltage, cogging torque, loss calculations and thermal analysis are presented.

  • Cogging Torque is induced by the magnetic attraction between the rotor mounted permanent magnet(PM) and the stator teeth. This torque is an unwanted effect causing shaft vibration, noises, metal fatigues and increased stator length. A variety of techniques exist to reduce the cogging torque of PM generator. Even though the cogging torque can be vanished by skewing the stator slots by one slot pitch or rotor magnets, manufacturing cost becomes high due to the complicated structure and increased material costs. This paper introduces a new cogging torque reduction technique for PM generators that adjusts the azimuthal positions of the magnets along the circumference. A 900 kW class PMSG model is simulated using a three dimensional finite element method and the resulting cogging torques is analyzed using the Maxwell tensor stress tensor. Using the 3D simulation, the end contribution of the cogging torque is accurately calculated.

  • A 500Wh class high-speed Flywheel Energy Storage System (FESS) driven by a built-in BLDC motor/generator has been designed, which runs from 30000 to 60000rpm nominally. Due to the motor/generator inside, the flywheel rotor made of composites supported by PM/EM hybrid bearing system has a shape of bell or pendulum and thus requires accurate rotordynamic analyses and prediction of its dynamic behavior to secure the operating reliability. Rotordaynamic analyses of the flywheel rotor-bearing system revealed that the bell shaped rotor has two conical rigid-body modes in the system operating range and the first conical mode, of which nodal point lies in the radial EM bearing position, can adversely affect the dynamic response of the rotor at the corresponding critical speed. To eliminate the possibility of wild behavior of the rotor, two guide bearings are adopted at the upper end of the rotor and motor/generator. It was also revealed that the EM bearing stiffness of 0.5~1.0E+6 N/m and damping of 2000 Ns/m are favorable for smooth operation of the system around the 2nd critical speed.

  • Vibration performance of a 6 kW stand-alone wind turbine(W/T) generator is investigated under the wind environment of Daegwanryung mountain area. In the W/T, wind condition, power performance and structural stability are correlated each other An integrated monitoring system which consists of accelerometers, anemometers, power meters and auxiliary sensors for atmospheric data are constructed to measure the required data simultaneously. Based upon the data acquired over a long period of time, vibration performance of the W/T structure is estimated with annual wind data and generating power performance. Within the operating speed range, possibility of severe nitration is diagnosed. Vibration sources are identified and countermeasures are proposed. The goal of the study is to offer the basic information on W/T vibration performance at the design stage of a small stand alone W/T structure.
