The development of medical devices based on the theory of tranditional Korean medicine is increasing due to population aging and emerging demand for medical services. Various clinical trials are being conducted to ensure the clinical effectiveness of the developed medical devices, and the importance of systematic management of variously collected information in this process is increasing. In this paper, we designed and constructed the database that can systematically manage the medical information of the patient and the pulse measurement information in conducting clinical trials by using pulse analysis system which is a representative diagnostic method of traditional Korean medicine. The constructed database can be efficiently used for the verification of existing algorithms or developing new algorithms through the quality control of various information and measured data on clinical trials. It also has several advantages in the control of clinical data. The results of this study can contribute to the establishment of Korean medical device data standard for the construction of integrated database management system that can share information with different kind of pulse analysis system and other bio-signal measuring devices.

With the development of modern society, we are all living in a world where information is shared through mass media and environment. Just as there was an identifier for the approach of information in the past analog environment, there is a demand for the continuous development and research of an original identifier for each and every digital contents of the changing digital environment. In order to present the need for standardization of effective construction concerning digital contents, this study examines the identifiers system structure of ISBN and ISSN of the analog environment and URL, URN, URC, which are under the URI system of the digital environment. After analyzing the problems of different URL identifiers construction in each university library's OPAC system, this study presents a standard device of effective identifiers patterns.

Vinalines is actually known as not only one of Vietnam's state-sponsored economic giants but also the largest shipowner by tonnage in Vietnamese shipping industry. Therefore, a question of how to improve business performance of the corporation is always received deep attention by Vietnamese government, specially after the seriously economic scandal of Vinalines in a last few years. Among development strategies, the study focuses on short-term one in which Vinalines is recommended to restructure its own fleet in order to optimize performance of fleet operation and minimize costs while meeting the customer's shipping demand in near future. The first section is of introduction. Via method of statistical data analysis, section 2 brings to readers a panorama about the development profile and the current situation of development of Vinalines. In section 3, the authors use linear programming for setting a cost-minimization model optimizing Vinalines fleet structure based on available statistics and forecast information by Vinalines. The optimization problem is solved by applying AIMMS software in section 4. Finally, some conclusions and proposals by authors for the development of Vinalines are given.

This paper describes the architecture and characteristics of the satellite modem unit (SMU) developed for the DAMA-SCPC Ground System(DGS), which is a Demand Assignment Multiple Access-Single Channel per Carrier (DAMA-SCPC) satellite network. There are several requirements for the SMU from the system architecture and design concept. To meet these requirements the SMU was designed and implemented by extensively applying digital signal processing (DSP) technique and field programmable gate array (FPGA). The developed SMU met the functional and performance requirements, and has been working well. The measured BER was about 1 $\times$10E-4 in continuous mode(at Eb/No=4.7, FEC=3/4).

This paper presents research in intelligent massenger technique for Cyber University to support accessing university database. Proposed techniques enables better communication between students and professons by using intelligent messenger. Intranet based massenger support simple message transfer and multimedia chatting service within homogeneous network or members in same group. Using niversity database it provide personalize information for each different user demand needs and through managing technique user could effectively organize members of group. To embody intelligent massenger, JMF(Java Media Frame Work), RMI(Remote Method Invocation), XML techniques were proposed and in result constructing effective community.

For the structural firefighting protective clothing, it can show a synergy effect when it satisfies smart fabric to block off a harmful environmental element and ergonomics design that apply range of motion of human body and appropriate size system. There are various standards about the structural firefighting protective clothing, but it's difficult to find a rule about movement suitability because the performance of the material holds a lot of the rules. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a scheme to evaluate the current structural firefighting protective clothing and to improve movement suitability by research on the actual condition. For this, the survey about wearer acceptability scale on design and size and about improvement requirements was executed gathering firefighters' opinion. Questionnaire was composed with 23 items about satisfaction on current structural firefighting protective clothing, body suitability, movement suitability, improvement requirement and subjective information. As a results, Korean firefighters demand ergonomics design of structural firefighting protective clothing which to minimize restriction of body movement and to maximize body suitability.

As mobile markets in most developed countries are rapidly coming close to saturation, it is increasingly challenging to cover the cost of providing the network, as revenues are not growing. This has driven mobile operators, thus far mostly involved in facility-based competition, to turn their attention to network sharing. There exist various types of mobile network sharing (MNS), from passive to active sharing. In this paper, we propose a model, based on the supply-demand model, for evaluating the economic effects of using six types of MNS. Our study measures the economic effects of employing these six types of MNS, using actual WiBro-related data. Considering lower service price and expenditure reduction, the total economic effect from a year's worth of MNS use is estimated to be between 513 million and 689 million USD, which is equal to three to four percent of the annual revenue of Korean mobile operators. The results of this study will be used to support the establishment of a MNS policy in Korea. In addition, the results can be used as a basic model for developing various network sharing models.

Discretization of continuous variables intended to improve the performance of various algorithms such as data mining by transforming quantitative variables into qualitative variables. If we use appropriate discretization techniques for data, we can expect not only better performance of classification algorithms, but also accurate and concise interpretation of results and speed improvements. Various discretization techniques have been studied up to now, and however there is still demand of research on discretization studies. In this paper, we propose a new discretization technique to set the cut-point using Wasserstein distance with considering the distribution of continuous variable values with classes of data. We show the superiority of the proposed method through the performance comparison between the proposed method and the existing proven methods.

New product development (NPD) is crucial for fashion brands as they are required to constantly innovate in product design and technology to remain competitive in the global fashion market. In this study, we investigated the co-creative new fashion product development (NFPD) process to understand its structural characteristics and examined the components of this business model through case studies. Fashion companies frequently collaborate with consumers to create unique and innovative fashion items that both satisfy consumer demand and expand their economic potential. Base on case studied involving consumer participation in NFPD, our study analyzed the structural characteristics of the co-creative NFPD process. Consequently, our investigation identified five key factors of the co-creative NFPD business model: co-value, co-creator, co-activity, co-platform, and co-partner. The co-creation approach established in this study will help advance research on new fashion strategies and provide foundational information for Korean fashion companies that are facing an increasingly competitive global market, thus making a significant contribution to the literature.
