지연 Controlled Atmosphere(CA)저장이 저장 중 '후지' 과실의 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Delayed CA Treatment on Fruit Quality of 'Fuji' Apples During Storage)

  • 본 연구애서는 '후지' 사과의 CA 저장을 실용화하기 위하여 수확시기와 일정기간 저온저장한 후 CA 환경을 설정하는 지연 CA 처리가 저장 중 내부갈변장해와 과실품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 1차 년도에 '후지' 사과를 10월 22일에 수확하였을 때 밀병 발생율이 40%였고, CA 환경 조성($O_2\;2.5{\pm}0.5%+CO_2\;2.5{\pm}0.5%$)을 20일 지연 CA 저장하였을 때는 내부갈변이 발생하였으나, 30일 지연 CA 저장에서는 내부갈변이 발생하지 않았다. 2차 년도에는 수확시기가 늦어질수록 밀병 발생율이 높았고, 이러한 과실은 10~30일 지연 CA 처리구에서 내부갈변장해가 발생하였으나, 40일 지연 CA 처리구에서는 내부갈변장해가 발생하지 않았다. 호흡량은 저온저장 과실에서는 저장기간이 길어질수록 급격히 증가하였으나 지연 CA 저장에서는 호흡량이 낮게 유지되었고, 급속 CA 저장에 비해서 차이를 보이지 않았다. 에틸렌 발생량은 지연 CA 저장한 과실들이 저온저장에 비해서 낮았으나, 급속 CA 저장에 비해서는 다소 높은 발생량을 보였다. 산 함량은 지연 CA 저장이 급속 CA 저장에 비해 저장기간이 길어질수록 감소하는 경향이었고, 경도는 저장 8개월 후에도 급속 CA 처리구와 지연 CA 처리구간에는 차이를 보이지 않았다.

  • Premolars show the greatest variation in development and eruption. The present case report identified characteristics of eruption of maxillary premolars with delayed development. Multiple maxillary premolars with delayed development were found to have a palatal ectopic eruption pattern, which was self-corrected through eruption guidance by extraction of preceding primary teeth at the stage of root development when eruption force was maximal. In addition, delayed eruption due to delayed development was substantially improved by eruption guidance. Early erupted premolars with less than 1/3 of root development were induced to have normal root development using stabilizing appliance. The maxillary premolars with delayed development reported in the present study showed no complications such as impaction, space loss by delayed eruption, or insufficient root development.

경미한 외상을 받은 소아.청소년 환자의 지연 진단에 대한 고찰 (Analysis of Delayed Diagnosis of Pediatric and Adolescent Patients Injured by Minor Trauma)

  • Purpose: To analyze delayed diagnosis, we collected date on pediatric and adolescent patients who had been admitted to the Emergency Department with injuries due to minor trauma Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the age distribution, trauma mechanism, time interval for each affected body region at delayed diagnosis, hospital stay, and outcome for 161 pediatric and adolescent patients who had been admitted to the Emergent Department of Gachon University Gil Hospital from January 2006 to September 2008. Results: The incidence of delayed diagnosis in pediatric and adolescent trauma was 11.8% in our retrospective review of 161 pediatric and adolescent patients. Lengths of hospitalization were longer in patients with delayed diagnosis (p<0.05). Patients with delayed diagnosis were more often transferred to other hospitals than patients with non-delayed diagnosis (p<0.05). The time intervals for each different affected body regions at delayed diagnosis were significantly different, but the hospital stays were not. There were no statistical significance to age on affected body region. Conclusion: From this study, we found that admission result and hospital stay were statistically significant differences between the delayed-diagnosis patient group and the non-delayed-diagnosis patient group. Finally, we must follow up pediatric and adolescent patients with minor trauma, closely considering missed injuries.

  • IEEE 802.15.3 is wireless Medium Access Control(MAC) and Physical Layer(PHY) specification for high rate WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network). IEEE 802.15.3 MAC Layer provides Qos with three kinds of acknowledgements; No acknowledgement, Immediate acknowledgement, and Delayed acknowledgement. This paper presents how to improve QoS with new acknowledgement method called Delayed Negative acknowledgement. This paper describes the method of using Delayed Negative acknowledgement and presents the calculation of QoS improvement by using Delayed Negative acknowledgement.

신생아 개심술후 지연 흉골봉합 (Delayed Sternal Closure After Heart Surgery in Neonate)

  • Early repair of complex congenital heart malformation may lead to life-threatening respiratory and hemodynamic embarrassment on sternal closure. We performed delayed sternal closure in nine neonates to avoid a fatal outcome in these situations. Primary elective open sternum was used in 8 [66.7% and primary sternal closure in 4 [33.3% of the 12 patients studied. one patient with primary sternal closure underwent delayed sternal reopening in the intensive care unit. Of the 9 patients with open sternum, 2 patients died of low cardiac output and acute renal failure respectively before delayed sternal closure. 7 patients could undergo delayed sternal closures 3 days after initial operation. The mean age at open cardiac procedure was 14.3 days [range 3 to 30 and mean preoperative weight was 3.4kg [range 2.8 to 4.1 . The aortic cross-clamping time was longer in the group with open sternum than the group with closed sternum [p=0.042 . There was no morbidity and mortality related to delayed sternal closure. Given the low morbidity and potential benifits, this technique should be used in neonates after open heart procedures when postoperative mediastinal compression produces frank low cardiac output or respiratoy compromise during a trial of sternal closure.

이산시스템에서 시간지연을 갖는 시변 상태 지연 섭동의 안정 범위에 관한 연구 (Stability Bounds of Delayed Time-varying Perturbations of Discrete Systems)

  • The stability robustness problem of linear discrete-time systems with delayed time-varying perturbations is considered. Compared with continuous time system, little effort has been made for the discrete time system in this area. In the previous results, the bounds were derived for the case of non-delayed perturbations. There are few results for delayed perturbation. Although the results are for the delayed perturbation, they considered only the time-invariant perturbations. In this paper, the sufficient conditions for stability can be expressed as linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). The corresponding stability bounds are determined by LMI(Linear Matrix Inequality)-based algorithms. Numerical examples are given to compare with the previous results and show the effectiveness of the proposed results.

  • In this paper, the attitude of a quadrotor system is controlled by a time-delayed control method which uses the previous information to cancel out uncertainties in the system. Although the linear controller works for the attitude control, the robust performance against disturbance is relatively poor. Therefore, a time-delayed controller as a robust controller is used. Experimental studies are conducted to validate the performance by the time-delayed control method. The performances of both a linear controller and a time-delayed controller are compared.

  • This paper deals with the design problem of the state estimator for servo system. The servo system has input time delay which depends on the computational time of control algorithm. The delayed input is a factor that brings out the state estimation error. So in order to reduce the state estimation error of the system, we propose a state estimator in which the delayed input of the system is considered. For this purpose, discrete time state space model is established accounting for the delayed input and a state estimator is designed based on this model. Kalman filter algorithm is employed in the design of the state estimator. The proposed estimator is used in the speed control of servo system with delayed input. Performance of the proposed state estimator is exemplified via simulations and experiments for servo system. Also, robustness of the proposed estimator to modeling error by variation of the system parameters is also shown in simulations.

행지(行遲)로 진단된 하지부 운동발달지연 환아의 치험 1례 보고 (A Patient with Lower Limbs' Delayed Motor Development was Demonstrated Hang-ji : A Case Report)

  • Objectives This is the clinical report about 1 case of patient with delayed motor development in lower limbs. Methods The herb medication, acupuncture therapies were applied for treating delayed motor development from June 9 to November 20, 2007. Results After 5 months treatment, the patient's delayed motor development were improved by oriental medical therapy. Conclusions We report the good results of oriental medical therapy on a pediatric patient with delayed lower limbs motor development. For more accurate studies, further studies would be needed with more cases.

Delayed fast neutron as an indicator of burn-up for nuclear fuel elements

  • Feasibility study of burn-up analysis and monitoring using delayed fast neutrons was investigated at Missouri University of Science and Technology Reactor (MSTR). Burnt and fresh fuel elements were used to collect delayed fast neutron data for different power levels. Total reactivity varied depending on the burn-up rate of fuel elements for each core configuration. The regulating rod worth was 2.07E-04 𝚫k/k/in and 1.95E-04 𝚫k/k/in for T121 and T122 core configurations at 11 inch, respectively. Delayed fast neutron spectrum of F1 (burnt) and F16 (fresh) fuel elements were analyzed further, and a strong correlation was observed between delayed fast neutron emission and burn-up. According to the analyzed peaks in burnt and fresh fuels, reactor power dependency was observed and it was determined that delayed neutron provided more reliable results at reactor powers of 50 kW and above.
