시간 지연과 데이터 손실을 고려한 네트워크 제어시스템의 안정도 분석 (Stability Analysis of Networked Control System with Time Delay and Data Loss)

  • The major concern of networked control system is network uncertainties such as time delay and data loss. Because these uncertainties may degrade the performance of networked control system and destabilize the entire system. Therefore, the performance and the stability variation of networked control system due to network uncertainties must be considered first in designing networked control system. In particular, the stability analysis of networked control system is most important issue since time delay and data loss can make the overall systems unstable. In this paper, we present a new stability analysis method of networked control system with time delay and data loss, which is impossible in previous works. The proposed method can determine maximum time delay and allowable transmission rate that preserve stability performance of networked control system. The results of the simulation validate effectiveness of our stability analysis method.

  • This paper is devoted to the passivity based control in bilateral teleoperation for varying time delay. Toimprove the stability and task performance, master and slave in bilateral teleoperation must be coupled via the network through which the force and velocity are communicated. However, time delay existing in the transmission channel is a long standing impediment to bilateral control and can destabilize the system, even if the system is stable without time delay, In this paper, we investigate how the varying time delay affects the advanced teleoperation stability and results in an out-of-control status. A new approach based on passivity control has been bilaterally designed for both the master and slave sites and the simulation result will verify that our approach is better and effective for passive bilateral teleoperation.

  • This paper proposes a simple compensation scheme for the time delay caused by measurement, calculation and selection of voltage vector in Direct Torque Control (DTC) of an induction motor. In general scheme, it is difficult to know the exact delay time, furthermore the delay time can be varied by program routines for calculation and processing of measured data. In this proposed scheme, by applying voltage vector at the beginning of next sampling period, a fixed delay time is achieved and its compensation becomes much simpler. Furthermore, with the simple compensation algorithm, an improved performance can be achieved by shortening sampling period. Experimental results prove the feasibility of the proposed scheme in induction motor control.

  • Network uncertainties such as data loss and time delay can vary the stability property of networked control system. Therefore, these uncertainties must be considered first in designing networked control system. In this paper, we present a new stability analysis method of networked control system with data loss and time delay. The proposed method can determine maximum allowable time delay and minimum allowable transmission rate that preserves stability performance of networked control system. The results of the simulation validate effectiveness of our stability analysis method.

  • 네트워크에서 QoS(quality of Service) 제공 기술은 양단간 네트워크 경로의 안정성과 성능의 정도를 나타내는 QoS 척도에 대한 실제 측정에 기반을 두고 있다. QoS 척도 중에서 특히 단방향 지연의 측정은 양단간 두 측정 지점간의 클럭(clock) 동기가 선행되어야 한다. 하지만, 네트워크에서 모든 단말 또는 호스트(host) 사이에는 절대적 또는 상대적인 시간 차이가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는, 단방향 지연 단방향 지연 변이와 일주 지연(round-trip time: RTT) 간의 관계식을 새롭게 유도하여 추정 오류가 일주지연의 사분의 일 이하가 됨을 수학적으로 보여주며, 이를 이용한 단방향 지연과 클럭 오프셋(offset)의 추정 기법을 제안하고 실험을 통하여 본 제안의 유용성을 보여준다.

Robust Stabilization of Uncertain Linear Systems with Time-delay

  • This paper presents a new delay-dependent robust stabilization condition for uncertain time-delay systems. An algorithm involving convex optimization is proposed to compute a suboptimal upper bound of the delay such that the system can be stabilized by the controller for all admissible uncertainties. It is illustrated by numerical examples that the proposed delay-dependent controller can be less conservative than previous results. It is also shown that the proposed delay-dependent controller can even capture the delay-independent stability of the system, which is not possible with existing delay-dependent results.

Delay Switching PLL의 Pull-in 특성 (Pull-in Characteristics of Delay Switching Phase-Locked Loop)

  • 본 논문에서는 PLL의 pull-in 특성을 개선하기 위하여 delay switching PL난을 제시하였다. phase detector와 low grass filter사이에 간단한 RC delay회로를 삽입하고, 90° shift 시킨 Phase detector출력에 의하여 delay time을 switching하였다. 그 결과 pull-in range는 lock range의 1/2이상으로 넓힐 수 있었으며 pull-in time도 개선되었다. 이 개선된 Pull-in특성은 근사적으로 해석되었으며 실험으로 확인되었다.

  • In this paper, we present a robust controller design method that can not only deal with the constant time delay plant but also an uncertain time delay one. For a constant time delay plant. The proposed DTC can independently adjust the set response and the disturbance response without any stability constraint. And in the uncertain time delay case, one can process the control design step with uncertainty norm bound. To verify real effectiveness, theoretical analysis and simulation results are given.
