Research on User-Centric Inter-Organizational Collaboration (UCICOIn) framework (사용자 제어 기반 다중 도메인 접근 제어에 대한 연구)

  • In today's business landscape, collaboration and interoperability are crucial for organizational success and profitability. However, integrating operations across multiple organizations is challenging due to differing roles and policies in Identity and Access Management (IAM). User-centric identity (UCI) adopts a personalized approach to digital identity management, centering on the end-user for authentication and access control. It provides a decentralized system that ensures secure and customized access for each user. UCI aims to address complex security challenges by aligning access privileges with individual user requirements. This research delves into UCI's ability to streamline resource access amidst conflicting IAM roles and protocols across various organizations. The study presents a UCI-based multi-domain access control (MDAC) framework, which encompasses an ontology, a unified method for articulating access roles and policies across domains, and software services melding with UCI infrastructure. The goal is to enhance organizational resource management and decision-making by offering clear guidelines on access roles and policy management across diverse domains, ultimately boosting companies' return on investment.

  • Federated Learning (FL) has emerged as a potent methodology for decentralized model training across multiple collaborators, eliminating the need for data sharing. Although FL is lauded for its capacity to preserve data privacy, it is not impervious to various types of privacy attacks. Differential Privacy (DP), recognized as the golden standard in privacy-preservation techniques, is widely employed to counteract these vulnerabilities. This paper makes a specific contribution by applying an existing, task-specific adaptive DP mechanism to the FL environment. Our comprehensive analysis evaluates the impact of this mechanism on the performance of a shared global model, with particular attention to varying data distribution and partitioning schemes. This study deepens the understanding of the complex interplay between privacy and utility in FL, providing a validated methodology for securing data without compromising performance.

  • 보 및 평판의 진동에 대해서 에너지의 손실은 재료감쇠를 이용한 표면감쇠처리나 지지부에서의 감쇠처리에 의하여 증가될 수 있다. 감쇠재료를 이용한 표면감쇠처리의 예로서 보/평판 표면에 접착되는 감쇠 테이프나 코팅등은 아주 효과적임이 입증되었다. 마찬가지로 지지부 감쇠처리는 점탄성재료의 삽입에 의해서 설명될수 있다[1]. 보/평판의 감쇠에 대한 최근의 많은 연구들은 진동하고 있는 보/평판의 표면에 적용하는 감쇠 테이프 혹은 적층형태의 감쇠 처리방법에 대해서 주로 수행되었다. 일반적으로 표면감쇠처리방법은 진동감소에 아주 효과적이지만 실제 적용상에서 항상 가능한 것은 아니며, 이와 같은 경웨는 지지부 감쇠 처리방법에 의존하게 된다[2]. 감쇠특성을 갖는 점탄성재료를 실제로 적용할 때 보/평판의 유한한 길이가 점탄성재료로 지지되며 점탄성재료의 물성치와 치수에 따라서 계의 모우드 매개변수(고유진동수, 계의 손실계수 그리고 모우드형상)가 크게 달라진다. 그리고 이와 같은 계에 대해서는 지지부의 거동보다는 전체 시스템의 고유진동수와 손실계수 그리고 보 영역에서의 모우드 형상에 더 관심이 있으므로 지지부 영역을 집중매개변수(lumped parameter)로 나타내어 계를 해석할 수 있다. 일반적으로 보와 평판의 경계에서는 병진 및 회전방향의 강성 뿐만 아니라 두 강성사이에 연성효과도 동시에 발생하게 되므로 이 항을 고려하여 계를 모델링해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 우선 점탄성 재료에 의한 지지부영역의 등가 강성계수들을 구하고 경계에 강성행렬을 갖는 보의 등가시스템을 얻는다. 그리고 등가시스템의 주파수방정식으로부터 모우드 매개변수에 대한 지지부의 영향을 살펴본다. 또한 시스템이 비교적 복잡한 사각 평판의 진동에 대해서도 동강성행렬법(dynamic stiffness matrix method)을 이용하여 해석하고자 한다. 수준임이 입증되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로우리나라 젊고 건강한 남성에게 적합한 무게상수는 작업자군에 대하여 25.05kg, 학생군에 대하여 20.24kg 으로 나타나 이는 미국 NIOSH 안전기준과 대체로 일치함을 발견하였다.ive structures utilized in Client/server architecture for distribution and cooperative processing of application between server and client this study presents two different data management methods under the Client/server environment; one is "Remote Data Management Method" which uses file server or database server and. the other is "Distributed Data Management Method" using distributed database management system. Enhanced SBAS Integration Method Using Combination of Multiple SBAS Corrections

  • In this parer, we propose a new way of improving DGNSS service using combination of multiple SBAS information. Because SBAS uses Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites, it has very large coverage but it can be unavailable in urban canyon because of visibility problem. R. Chen solved this problem by creating Virtual Reference Stations (VRS) using the SBAS signal [1]. VRS converts SBAS signal to RTCM signals corresponding its location, and broadcast the converted RTCM signals over the wireless internet. This method can solve the visibility problem cost effectively. Furthermore it can solve DGNSS coverage problem by creating just a transmitter instead of a reference station. Developing above method, this paper proposes the methods that integrate two or more SEAS signals into one RTCM signal and broadcast it. In Korea, MSAS signal is available even though it is not officially certified for Korean users. As a Korean own SBAS-like system, there is the internet-based KWTB (Korean WADGPS Test Bed) which we developed and released at ION GNSS 2006. As a result, virtually two different SBAS corrections are available in Korea. In this paper, we propose the integration methods for these two independent SBAS corrections and present the test results using the actual measurements from the two systems. We present the detailed algorithm for these two methods and analyze the features and performances of them. To verify the proposed methods, we conduct the experiment using the logged SBAS corrections from the two systems and the RINEX data logged at Dokdo monitoring station in Korea. The preliminary test results showed the improved performance compared to the results from two independent systems, which shows the potential of our proposed methods. In the future, the newly developed SBASs will be available and the places which can access the multiple SBAS signals will increase. At that time, the integration or combination methods of two or more SBASs will become more important. Our proposed methods can be one of the useful solutions for that. As an additional research, we need to extend this research to the system level integration such as the concept of the decentralized W ADGPS.

  • 미래 정보와 시대에서 중추적인 역할을 할 광관련 멀티미디어 장비들은 최근 관련 산업계에서 주목을 받기 시작하고 있고 특히 기존 VTR(Video Tape Recorder) 시장을 대체할 차세대 DVDR(Digital Video Disk Recorder)는 기술전쟁이라고 할 정도로 선진 기업의 연구가 치열해지고 있다. DVDR 시스템에서는 필요한 정보들을 레이저빔을 이용한 광학신호로 바꾸어 광디스크에 기록, 재생하는 광픽업이 절대적으로 필요하게 된다. 그런데 광픽업의 위치추종기구인 Actuator는 정확한 위치추종(.+-.1.$\mu$m 오차이내)을 할 수 있는 성능이 요구되며 서보의 특성상 20KHz 이하에서 불필요한 모우드가 가진되지 않는 정밀부품이어야 하므로 Actuator 각 부품의 동적인 특성을 명확히 규명할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우선 Actuator 각 부품과 가동부 전체의 중량 및 진동해석을 통해 동특성을 조사하였다. 그리고 Actuator의 중요한 기본성능중 하나인 구동감도 확보여부를 검토할 필요가 있기 때문에 유한요소법 프로그램인 ANSYS를 이용하여 자기회로 부분에 대한 해석을 구하였다. 또한 가동부와 자기회로 등 하위부품을 조립하는 과정에서 발생하는 조립오차로 인해 불필요한 공진과 회전형상이 야기될 수 있으므로 동특성 및 문제점 파악을 위한 민감도 분석이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가동부의 관성 모멘트 값과 강체에 대한 일반식을 이용한 자체 프로그램을 작성하여 조립공차를 구하였다. 이와같은 과정을 통해 구해진 설계값을 바탕으로 실제 제작된 Actuator에 대해서는 비접촉식 측정방법을 통해 동특성값을 측정하였고 이를 해석값과 상호 비교하였다.동강성행렬법(dynamic stiffness matrix method)을 이용하여 해석하고자 한다. 수준임이 입증되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로우리나라 젊고 건강한 남성에게 적합한 무게상수는 작업자군에 대하여 25.05kg, 학생군에 대하여 20.24kg 으로 나타나 이는 미국 NIOSH 안전기준과 대체로 일치함을 발견하였다.ive structures utilized in Client/server architecture for distribution and cooperative processing of application between server and client this study presents two different data management methods under the Client/server environment; one is "Remote Data Management Method" which uses file server or database server and. the other is "Distributed Data Management Method" using distributed database management system.   • In this paper we present a Distributed Object oriented Virtual computing Environment, called DOVE which consists of autonomous distributed objects interacting with one another via method invocations based on a distributed object model. DOVE appears to a user logically as a single virtual computer for a set of heterogeneous hosts connected by a network as if objects in remote site reside in one virtual computer. By supporting efficient parallelism, heterogeneity, group communication, single global name service and fault-tolerance, it provides a transparent and easy-to-use programming environment for parallel applications. Efficient parallelism is supported by diverse remote method invocation, multiple method invocation for object group, multi-threaded architecture and synchronization schemes. Heterogeneity is achieved by automatic data arshalling and unmarshalling, and an easy-to-use and transparent programming environment is provided by stub and skeleton objects generated by DOVE IDL compiler, object life control and naming service of object manager. Autonomy of distributed objects, multi-layered architecture and decentralized approaches in hierarchical naming service and object management make DOVE more extensible and scalable. Also,fault tolerance is provided by fault detection in object using a timeout mechanism, and fault notification using asynchronous exception handling methods

Design and Evaluation of an Edge-Fog Cloud-based Hierarchical Data Delivery Scheme for IoT Applications (사물인터넷 응용을 위한 에지-포그 클라우드 기반 계층적 데이터 전달 방법의 설계 및 평가)

  • The number of capabilities of Internet of Things (IoT) devices will exponentially grow over the next years. These devices may generate a vast amount of time-constrained data. In the context of IoT, data management should act as a layer between the objects and devices generating the data and the applications accessing the data for analysis purposes and services. In addition, most of IoT services will be content-centric rather than host centric to increase the data availability and the efficiency of data delivery. IoT will enable all the communication devices to be interconnected and make the data generated by or associated with devices or objects globally accessible. Also, fog computing keeps data and computation close to end users at the edge of network, and thus provides a new breed of applications and services to end users with low latency, high bandwidth, and geographically distributed. In this paper, we propose Edge-Fog cloud-based Hierarchical Data Delivery ($EFcHD^2$) method that effectively and reliably delivers IoT data to associated with IoT applications with ensuring time sensitivity. The proposed $EFcHD^2$ method stands on basis of fully decentralized hybrid of Edge and Fog compute cloud model, Edge-Fog cloud, and uses information-centric networking and bloom filters. In addition, it stores the replica of IoT data or the pre-processed feature data by edge node in the appropriate locations of Edge-Fog cloud considering the characteristic of IoT data: locality, size, time sensitivity and popularity. Then, the performance of $EFcHD^2$ method is evaluated through an analytical model, and is compared to fog server-based and Content-Centric Networking (CCN)-based data delivery methods.

Manufacturing Location and Linkages in the Suburb of Metropolitan Pusan (부산시 근교의 공업입지와 지역적 연계)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the suburbanization of manufacturing, and location and linkages of decentralized manufacturing from Metropolitan Pusan by means of case study on manufacturing location and linkages in the suburb of Metropolitan Pusan. Kimhae city and Yangsan-Gun toward which heavy decentralization of manufacturing from the Metropolitan Pusan has been done. Both hard data and soft data were used as the basic data. Hard data are the statistical data in statistical yearbooks and firm list in directories. The former consists of the number of establishments and employees classified by product type, firm size and unit area. The latter consists of owner's names, addresses, employee number, products and headquarters of firms. Soft data are the results of the interviews with the 242 owners of firms in the four case study areas selected by Proportional Stratified Sampling Method. The major findings are as follows: 1. The spatial variations of manufacturing in the suburb was regularized in the latter half of 1970's. The primary processes to decentralize manufacturing from Metropolitan Pusan were the birth, relocation and establishment of branches of the firms. Among them the relocation of small outer-oriented single-location firms from Pusan was the most important. 2. The spatial variations undergoing spatial expansion of manufacturing distribution and increase of agglomeration degree of manufacturing, proceeded from the adjacents of Metropolitan Pusan to the outer areas along the main transportation route. 3. The main factors which caused manufacturing to decentralize from the Metropolitan Pusan were firm policy and land for this policy. The main locational factors which induced the decentralizing manufacturing into the suburb were land, market and transportation. 4. The strength of linkages with the outside of the study area is stronger than that of linkages with the inside. There is distance-decay-function in the strength of linkages with the outside, and linkages with short distant areas are stronger than those with long distant areas. 5. The ranges of spatial linkages in procurement of materials, in subcontraction and in marketing are wider than those in ordering. 6. The main factors which cause the formation of linkages are different by types of linkages: monopolistic and oligopolistic supply are important in procurement linkages; characteristics of products and the subsequent marketing difficulties, in subcontraction linkages; fluctuation, cost reduction, insufficient facility and characteristics of products, in ordering linkages; subcontract, characteristics of product and the subsequent marketing difficulties, in marketing linkages. 7. The changes of linkages owing to locational changes of firms were great, and were greater in long distant areas than in short distant areas. 8. The main factor influencing on the changes of linkages was the easiness in the transportation of goods, movement of labour and contacts with customers. In conclusion, some facts described above were proved to be consistent with the results of proceeding studies in the other areas: influence of relocation of decentralizing firms on the suburbanization; the factors of manufacturing decentralization; spatial characteristics of linkages; linkage changes owing to relocation of firms. Some were proved to be partly consistent: locational factors inducing decentralized manufacturing into the suburb were proved to be inconsistent. I think that the results of previous studies on the other areas can be applicable to the explanation on the decentralization of Metropolitan manufacturing from the viewpoint of the suburb. For the better explanation on the decentralization of Metropolitan manufacturing, more empirical case studies on the suburbanization of manufacturing are necessary.

  • Collection of invaluable real-time traffic data becomes available under ubiquitous transportation sensor networks (UTSN). Various research efforts have been made to utilize such useful data for deriving more accurate and reliable traffic information. This study presented a novel concept of decentralized traffic information and method to process traffic data which are obtained from inter-vehicle communications under the UTSN. In addition, an experimental evaluation to investigate the feasibility of the proposed method using probe vehicle data. Predictive travel times were estimated and evaluated for the feasibility investigation. Technical issues were derived and discussed to fully implement the proposed system. The outcomes of this study would be used as a guideline in designing better next-generation traffic information systems.

  • Needs for MG(Microgrid) development are increasing all over the world as a solution to the problems including the depletion problem of energy resources, the growing demand for electric power and the climatic and environmental change. Especially Photovoltaic power is one of the most general renewable energy resources. However there is a problem of the uniformity of power quality because the power generated from solar light is very sensitive to climate fluctuation (variation of insolation and duration of sunshine, etc). As a solution to the above problem, ESS(Energy Storage System) is considered generally, but it has some limitations. To solve this problem this paper suggests a hybrid estimation method of photovoltaic power generation according to two climatic factors, i.e. insolation and sunshine. This result seems to help design the appropriate capacity of ESS and estimate the proper switching time between DC and AC power in the premises power system and thus maintain the uniformity of power quality.
