  • DC bias will cause abnormal vibration of transformers. Aiming at such a problem, transformer vibration affected by DC bias has been studied combined with transformer core and winding vibration mechanism use multi-physical field simulation software COMSOL in this paper. Furthermore the coupling model of electromagnetic-structural force field has been established, and the variation pattern of inner flux density, distribution of mechanical stress, tension and displacement were analyzed based on the coupling model. Finally, an experiment platform has been built up which was employed to verify the correctness of model.

  • DC 배전은 분산전원의 연계 효율이 높기 때문에 신재생 에너지의 발전과 함께 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 배터리를 포함하는 전기자동차는 계통으로 전력을 공급함에 따라 피크 부하 감쇄 및 전력 평준화를 이룰 수 있으며, 고가의 에너지 저장장치(ESS)를 대체할 수 있어 관심이 집중되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 바이폴 DC 배전에 적합한 V2G(Vehicle to Grid) 양방향 토폴로지를 제안하였고, V2G 를 활용하여 계통 전압을 개선할 수 있었다. 제안된 기술은 PSCAD/EMTDC 시뮬레이션을 통하여 효과를 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 빌딩에 적용되는 DC 배전 시스템에서 회생에너지를 고려한 MRL엘리베이터 구동 시스템을 기술 하였다. DC배전용 3상 PWM 컨버터의 직류단을 공유하여 엘리베이터 구동시스템을 구성한다면, 기존AC 배전 시스템에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점 입력단 역률 제어 및 회생에너지를 추가적인 시스템 구성없이 효율적으로 처리가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 DC 배전용 MLR엘리베이터 구동시스템의 회생동작 및 입력단 역률 제어의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 여러 대의 전력변환장치를 모듈화 하여 병렬 운전할시 필연적으로 발생하게 되는 순환전류를 억제하기 위한 제어 기법을 제안하였다. 이에 따라 병렬 운전 시스템이 갖는 응답 특성 및 정상상태 동작 등의 타당성을 시뮬레이션 모델을 통하여 검토하였다.

  • 최근 환경 문제 및 화석 에너지의 고갈과 맞물려 신재생 에너지를 사용하는 DC 출력형 분산전원 시스템이 증가 일로에 있으며, 이에 따라 교류 급전시스템보다 에너지 변환 효율이 높은 직류 급전 시스템에 대한 연구개발이 활발히 이뤄지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유지 보수의 용이성을 확보한 Hot Swap 구조형식의 DC 급전용 100[kW]급 분산 제어기반 모듈형 ESS[Energy Storage System의 개발에 관한 것이다. 실제 33[kW]급 모듈 3대로 구성된 100[kW]급 시스템을 제작하여 전압제어 실험, 병렬운전실험 및 Hot Swap 안정성 실험 등을 수행하였다.

  • The study about three-phase synthetic making test using DC power has been performed in order to increase the making test capacity on Vacuum Circuit Breaker. And, it made possible to solve the limitations that short-circuit testing facilities can not fulfill the testing requirements of VCB exceeding three-phase 36[kV] 31.5[kA]. By using DC power and high speed spark-gap switch, this method made the equivalence with the pre-arc that occurred during the making process under the fault condition of power system. As results, KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute) could have capacity to carry out type test for VCB under three-phase 52[kV] 40[kV], which satisfies the IEC Standard.

  • We designed and constructed a non-destructive evaluation system using an HTS DC SQUID electronic gradiometer. Our DC SQUID electronic gradiometer is composed of two DC SQUID magnetometers. The system included a non-magnetic stainless steel cryostat and a set of coaxial exciting coils, which were used to induce an eddy current in the test material. We also have calculated the eddy current density produced by an exciting coil in any direction of the testing object. We could compute the eddy current density distribution in 3D. The SQUIDs were computer controlled and the output data from the electronic gradiometer was obtained by using a Labview software.

  • In order to prevent the failures of underground distribution power cables we need to measure insulation condition in the field. Until now we used DC high voltage as a power source for the cable diagnosis but it was not proper method to the XLPE insulation cables because DC high voltage can affect sound insulation and can't diagnose exactly insulation degradation. For these reasons we imported isothermal relaxation current measurement system called by KDA-1 from germany but it's reliability did not proved in our URD cables. DC voltage decay measurement system was developed by domestic company but they don't have field experience. In this paper we tried to prove reliability of these two systems in the field. Through the field diagnosis and Ac breakdown test the two systems showed similar results.

Analysis and Optimization of Bidirectional Exponential SC Power Conversion Circuits

  • A bidirectional exponential-gain switched-capacitor (SC) DC-DC converter is developed in this paper. When compared with existing exponential SC converters, the number of switches is significantly reduced and its structure is simplified. The voltage transfer features, voltage ripple across capacitors, efficiency and output impedance of the proposed converter are analyzed in detail. Optimization of the output impedance is also discussed and the best type of capacitance distribution is determined. A common function of the voltage gain to the output impedance is found among the proposed converter and other popular SC voltage multipliers. Experimental evaluation is carried out with a 6-24V bidirectional prototype converter.
