야전운용자료를 활용한 항공무기체계의 RAM 목표값 비교분석 (Comparison of RAM Target Value and Operation Data in Air Weapon Systems)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to compare the RAM (reliability, availability and maintainability) value in the acquisition phase with operational period for air weapon systems. The objective is to determine if the value of RAM is sufficient in the field, and look for any difference from the target value to some extent. Methods : For a case study, the ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ training aircraft is selected. Data from the two acquisition sources are utilized. One is the operational data in domestic aircraft through research and development, and the other is the data from imported aircraft. The two different sources were collected independently and distinctly. Results : According to the analysis, the domestic aircraft shows high deviation in RAM value compare to the imported systems. This is due to the effort of continuous reliability improvement. In the aspect of maintainability, the result shows a slight deviation, and the availability meets the requirement. Conclusion : The results of this study can be used in finding a way that can be effectively applied to the sustainability in the weapon system. If the RAM performance is significantly lower than the target value, then it is necessary to improve the design activities so that they can achieve the RAM target value.

  • This paper describes link analysis on the processed data, HRIT (High Rate Information Transmission) and LRIT (Low Rate Information Transmission), for the preliminary design of interface between COMS (Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite) and ground station. At the MODAC (MeteorologicaVOcean Data Application Center), the processed data are transmitted to user station via COMS with normalization and calibration by pre-processing of MI (Meteorological Imager) data. Due to consider satellite as radio relay, overall analysis containing uplink and downlink is needed. Specific link parameters can be obtained with using the outcomes of SRR (System Requirement Review) which was held on 13-14 June 2005, in Toulouse. From the relation between overall link margin and output power of HPA (High Power Amplifier) of MODAC, it is shown that even though the minimum power related with COMS receiving power range is transmitted at MODAC, the obtained link margin of HRIT could be above 3 dB at user station which antenna elevation angle is 10 degree.

CDMA 회선 데이터 서비스를 이용한 CDMA망과 PSTN 망간의 음성 전송에 관한 연구 (The Research about Voice Transmission between CDMA Network and PSTN Network Using CDMA Circuit Data Service)

  • CDMA 이동단말기와 PSTN 단말기간의 음성 암호를 실현하기 위해서는 EVRC 음성 프레임이 두 이종망간에 신호 변환 없이 전송되어야 한다. 기존에 이미 설치되어 있는 상용망의 수정 없이 이러한 요구 조건을 만족하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 음성 프레임을 CDMA 회선 데이터 채널을 통해 실시간으로 전송하는 기법을 제안한다. CDMA 회선 데이터 채널을 통해 음성을 전송하는 과정에서 발생하는 전송 지연의 원인을 분석하였고 이러한 음성 전송 지연을 극복하기 위해 TCP control flags 제어기법과 보코더 출력 속도에 따른 가변 음성 블록 구성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법을 적용하여 실험한 결과 전송 지연이 평균 2초에서 570ms로 약 70%정도 개선됨을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 동작 포착 장비를 통해 각각 따로 포착된 얼굴과 동작 데이터의 자동 동기화 기술에 대해 다룬다. 광학식 동작 포착 기기를 사용할 때 얼굴 표정과 동작의 포착은 별도로 이루어지는 경우가 많으며, 이 경우 두 데이터 간의 동기화 수행하여야 자연스러운 애니메이션을 만들 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 두 데이터 간의 공통 부분인 목 및 얼굴의 전체적인 움직임 데이터를 기준으로 비선형 시간 변형을 통해 동기화를 수행하는 기법을 제안한다. 연구 결과를 간단한 실험 시나리오에 적용하여 기술의 효과성 여부를 검증하였다.

Shared Protection of Lightpath with Guaranteed Switching Time over DWDM Networks

  • Survivability is a very important requirement for the deployment of broadband networks because out of service links can affect volumes of traffic even if it is a very short time. And the data paths of broadband networks, which are critical for traffic engineering, are always necessary to be well protected. The procedure of protection or restoration for a path is initiated when failure is detected within the working path. In order to minimize the influence on transmission quality caused by the failure of links and to provide a definite time for the recovery from the failure, the protection switching time (PST) should be carefully considered in the path arrangement. Several researches have been devoted to construct the protection and restoration schemes of data paths over dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) networks, however, there was rare research on the design of data paths with guaranteed protection switching time. In this paper, the PST-guaranteed scheme, which is based on the concept of short leap shared protection (SLSP), for the arrangement of data paths in DWDM networks is proposed. The proposed scheme provides an efficient procedure to determine a just-enough PST-guaranteed backup paths for a working path. In addition to selecting the PST-guaranteed path, the network cost is also considered in a heuristic manner. The experimental results demonstrate that the paths arranged by the proposed scheme can fully meet the desired PST and the required cost of the selected path is competitive with which of the shared path scheme.

  • TETRA communication system is very versatile system which can transmit voice + data and packet data optimized. Direct mode operation permits to connect between mobiles when mobile stain is out of coverage of networks. It can be more secure communication channel for railway signaling systems. Railway signaling systems use many of wayside signal equipment, which require many maintenance efforts and budget. Many railway authorities want to reduce and replace the wayside equipment. Radio based signaling systems are one of candidate for replacing the conventional signaling systems. The radio based signaling systems can replace track circuit and wayside signal. The radio systems permit to connect between control centers and trains. The radio systems have to ensure high quality of the connectivity more or equal to the existed track circuits. We studied the application of TETRA systems for railway radio systems for bridging between train control centers and trains. We provide an operation scenario for radio based train control system to ensure the safety require to the existed trains control system and satisfied the existed operational availability. We showed the data transmission speed, maximum bit error rate, and data coding for the radio-based signal system using TETRA systems.

  • 항공관제시스템을 구성하는 하부 시스템중 하나인 감시자료처리시스템(SDP, Surveillance Data Processor)은 항공 감시 레이더 등 다양한 감시 센서로부터 감시자료를 전달 받아 항공기의 항적을 추적하는 시스템으로서, SDP의 항적 추적 성능은 항공기의 안전 운항에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 개발과정에서 SDP의 요구 성능에 대한 검증은 필수적이며, 특히 대표적인 다중 센서 다중 타겟 추적(Multi-Sensor Multi-Target Tracking)시스템으로서 다양한 타겟 추적 방법이 존재함에 따라 정량적인 추적 정확도 성능 평가가 중요하게 여겨지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 한국항공우주연구원에서 개발 중인 SDP의 항적 추적 성능 검증을 위한 요구 성능 정의, 테스트 환경 구축, 테스트 결과에 대해 정리하였다.

낙동강수계 수질오염총량관리를 위한 유량조사 평가 (Evaluation on Actual Discharge Data for TMDL in Nakdong River Basin)

  • To drive efficiently total water pollution load management, needs to calculate the exact load emissions, pollution load allocation and implementation evaluation in each unit area of watershed and accurate and regular flow of data. For these reasons, the Nakdong River TMDL Research Center has produced directly or indirectly in the average interval of eight days (30 times or more / year) 41 points for unit area of the total water pollution load management and 8-point of municipal requirement for a total of 49 branches as a flow data in 2004 from August. This acquired the survey flow is evidence of trends and changes each point in the Nakdong River based on time, such as 10 years based on average design flow available to the foundation of the summit as the major water policy is to be utilized. This study was performed on actual discharge measuring data and introduced performance results each drainage basin of Nakdong River from 2004 to 2008 over the total of past five years.

웹 기반에서의 USN 응용 시나리오 시각화 구현 (Implementation of Visualization for USN Application Scenario based on Web)

  • 최근 인간 중심의 정보화 사회가 USN 기술의 발전과 더불어 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 사회로 급격히 변모하고 있다. USN 응용 웹 서비스는 USN 기술을 이용하여 환경과 상황의 자동 인지를 통해 편리함을 제공하며 실시간 관리를 통해 최적의 서비스를 제공함으로써 인간 생활의 편리성과 안전성을 향상시킨다. 따라서 이러한 기술을 이용한 USN 응용 웹 서비스는 생활 전반에 다양하게 적용된다. 본 논문에서는 USN을 기반으로 수집된 메타 데이터와 센싱 데이터에 대하여 사용자들의 요구사항을 분석하여 시나리오를 구현하고 각 시나리오에 가장 효과적으로 대응 할 수 있는 시각화를 구현하였다.

위험원 분석 결과를 반영한 시스템 안전 요구사항 생성에 관한 연구 (On the Development of Systems Safety Requirements Using Hazard Analysis Results)

  • Modern systems become more complex and the demand for systems safety goes up sharply. Thus, the proper handling of the safety requirements in the systems design is getting greatly increased attention these days. Hazard analysis has been one of the active areas of research in connection with systems safety. In this paper, we study a subject on how the hazard analysis results can be incorporated in the systems design. To this end we set up a goal on how to systematically generate safety requirements that should reflect hazard analysis results and be implemented in the systems design and development. To do so, we first review the process for systems design and suggest the associated Model. Then the process and results of hazard analysis are analyzed and Modeled particularly with emphasis on the safety data. The resulting data Model incorporating both the hazard analysis and system life cycle is used in the generation of safety requirements. Based on the developed data Model, the generation of the requirements, the construction of requirements DB, and the change management later on is demonstrated through the use of a computer-aided software tool.
