Augmented reality is a technology that combines the virtual world based on the real world. This technique requires POI data to recognize the marker and identify the marker. POI data can be easily registered and used by anyone, and there is a need to provide a standard for accessing POI data because a large amount of data is accumulated in the existing augmented reality platform. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a category composition method for POI data integration using ontology which is a paradigm of providing relationship and information sharing. It consists of a combination of the POI core of W3C and OWL, which is the expression language of the ontology.

An autopilot system of a ship is very important for a safe and convenient navigation, which is realized with getting an azimuth data from a gyrocompass, a magnetic compass and a GPS(Global Positioning System) compass. Magnetic compass an azimuth error is generated by a vessel magnetism material such as steels. The magnetic pole is detected by the magnetic field sensor, it does not coincide with the true north, therefore, the detected azimuth data can not but accompany error. In this paper, in order to detect the minimum change of azimuth data which generates errors of azimuth information, a search algorithm using the Kalman Filtering method is utilized. The digital electronic compass is designed with the integration algorithm using the merits of an earth's magnetic field sensor and a GPS receiver.

According to Oriental perspective on Universe, all systems become complete when three elements namely time, space, and human are all present. The only computer technology which can integrate these three elements is GIS. The current GIS database and system architecture, however, mainly concentrate on managing and analyzing spatial data without considering temporal and human elements. Despite the limitations, it is certain that GIS technology will develop into a unity within which the three elements of time, space and human are integrated. On the other hand, with the rapid acceptance of Internet technology, a new small universe that can be called "cyber world" is emerging. However, the current small univers created by internet is only a half-universe which does not include the concept of space. The creation of "cyber nation" which truly reflects our living environment in computer and information communication networks can only be achievedthrough the integration of GIS and Internet. Currently, many countries are heavily investing in GIS. Based on the magnitude of investments, we can expect that the concept of "cyber nation" will further develop into "cyber world" where the search for information on any part of global village is possible with the simple use of mobile phone regardless of time or location. If so, it might be possible to create a "Digitopia", a digital utopia in cyber space. A new world is opening by the integration of GIS and Internet.is opening by the integration of GIS and Internet.

Motif databases are used in the function and structure prediction of proteins. The frequency of use about these databases increases continuously because of protein sequence data growth. Recently, many researches about motif resource integration are proceeding. However, existing motif databases were developed independently, thus these databases have a heterogeneous search result problem. Database intnegration for this problem resolution has a periodic update problem, a complex query process problem, a duplicate database entry handling problem and BML support problem. Therefore, in this paper, we suppose a database resource integration method for these problem resolution, describe periodically integrated database update method and XML transformation. finally, we estimate the implementation of our prototype and a case database.

As there are needs to search the Web information via wire or wireless telephones, VoiceXML forum was established to develop and promote the Voice eXtensible Markup Language (VoiceXML). VoiceXML simplifies the creation of personalized interactive voice response services on the Web, and allows voice and phone access to information on Web sites, call center databases. Also, it can utilize the Web-based technologies, such as CGI(Common Gateway Interface) scripts. In this paper, we have developed the voice portal service platform based on VoiceXML called TeleGateway. It enables integration of voice services with data services using the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-To-Speech (TTS) engines. Also, we have showed the various services on voice portal services.

Product catalog information is the most important factor to make customers purchase the product for various B2B or B2C businesses provided on the Internet. As catalog information differs from company by company, it cannot provide common criteria standard to customers to make decisions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a platform independent system, which integrates incompatible data from each company' catalogs and manages its database. This paper describes the integrated E-catalog system made up DB module, catalog management module, and interface module. This system allows customers to view standardized product catalog information from different companies with real -time updates, and also provides extensibility, flexibility, and interoperability for the effective E-Business management.

The purpose of this study is to get preeminent data from comparative analysis of multi-family housing unit plans between Korea and China nowadays. Even though Korea and China belong to common cultured band in Asia, there are many different Housing aspects and unit plans. Through this study we want to grasp the characteristics of both nation's apartment unit plans and to contribute for advance into the China apartment market. Analysis target is constructing and lotting out apartment at South Korea and China in 2004, and the space syntax model is used as an analysis tool. First, analyze kind, number and special quality of each room by use area, and second, analyze area and scale of the rooms. Through the integration analysis we know the grade of rank and centrality of each rooms, and search difference of South Korean and Chinese apartment.

This paper introduces a novel neuro-fuzzy system based on the polynomial fuzzy neural network(PFNN) architecture. The PFNN consists of a set of if-then rules with appropriate membership functions whose parameters are optimized via a hybrid genetic algorithm. A polynomial neural network is employed in the defuzzification scheme to improve output performance and to select appropriate rules. A performance criterion for model selection, based on the Group Method of DAta Handling is defined to overcome the overfitting problem in the modeling procedure. The hybrid genetic optimization method, which combines a genetic algorithm and the Simplex method, is developed to increase performance even if the length of a chromosome is reduced. A novel coding scheme is presented to describe fuzzy systems for a dynamic search rang in th GA. For a performance assessment of the PFNN inference system, three well-known problems are used for comparison with other methods. The results of these comparisons show that the PFNN inference system outperforms the other methods while it exhibits exceptional robustness characteristics.

The main purpose of this paper is to present the buckling loads of tapered columns due to dynamic concept. The ordinary differential equation governing the bucking loads for tapered columns is derived on the basis of dynamic concept. Three kinds of cross sectional shape are considered in the governing equation. The Improved Euler method and Determinant Search method are used to perform the integration of the differential equation and to determine the buckling loads, respectively. The hinged-hinged, hinged-clamped, clamped-clamped and free-clamped end constraints are applied in numerical examples. The buckling loads are reported as the function of section ratio, and the effects of cross-sectional shapes are investigated. The buckling load equation, which are fitted by numerical data, are proposed as a function of section ratio. It is expected that these equations can be utilized in structural engineering field.

In general, most of the function and using of building is for single purpose. However, current buildings combine several functions that causes a lot of problems not on firefighting only but also on environment engineering. Because of hard integration on different fields that causes a lot of conflict. That wastes cost and time. That also threaten the safety of firefighting. This search focuses on the drawing verification and field inspection on firefighting. These two items both remain paper work. To complete the current work, it needs to bring a great amount of drawing papers in the field. By BIM, integrated data can be extracted. It makes the drawing verification and field inspection easier and increases the efficiency. That is the main point of this research.
