고배속 광 디스크 드라이브를 위한 강인 직접 검색 제어 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of Robust Direct Seek Control System for High-Speed Rotational Optical Disk Drives)

  • This paper presents a new direct seek control scheme that provides fast data access capability and robust performance for high-speed rotational optical disk drives (ODD). When a disk is rotating at a high speed to obtain fast data transfer in ODD, the magnitude and frequency of velocity disturbance caused by eccentric rotation of the disk increase in proportion to the rotational speed of the disk. Such disturbances make it almost impossible for the conventional seek control scheme to achieve stable and satisfactory seek performance. We analyze the problems that may arise when the conventional seek control scheme is applied to the high-speed rotational ODD and propose a new direct seek control scheme that will solve such problems. In the proposed scheme, a seek control system is designed such that its performance is guaranteed for a set of plants with parameter perturbations. The performance of the proposed seek control scheme is shown by experiments using a high-speed rotational ODD.

고장 왜란 기록기를 위한 주파수 추정 기법의 비교 연구 (Comparative Studies of Frequency Estimation Method for Fault Disturbance Recorder)

  • Voltage and current phasor estimation has been executed by GPS-based synchronized PMU, which has become an important way of wide-area blackout protection for the prevention of expending faults in a power system. The PMU technique can not easily get the field data and it is impossible to share information, so that there has been used a FNET(Frequency Monitoring Network) method for the wide-area intelligent protection in USA. It consists of FDR(Fault Disturbance Recorder) and IMS(Information Management System). Therefore, FDR must provide an optimal frequency estimation method that is robust to noise and failure. In this paper, we present comparative studies for the frequency estimation method using IRDWT(Improved Recursive Discrete Wavelet Transform), FRDWT(Fast Recursive Discrete Wavelet Transform), and DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform). The Republic of Korea345[kV] power system modeling data by EMTP-RV are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed two kinds of RDWT(Recursive Discrete Wavelet Transform) and DFT. The simulation results show that the proposed frequency estimation technique using FRDWT could be the optimal frequency measurement method, and thus be applied to FDR.

  • Recently Intake noise has been extensively studied to reduce the engine noise. In order to diminish intake noise several resonators were added to the intake system. However this can cause a reduction of engine output power and an increase of fuel consumption. In this study, active noise control simulation of the Filtered-x LMS algorithm is applied real instrumentation intake noise data under rapid acceleration because intake noise is more excessively increased under the such a harsh condition. But the FXLMS algorithm has poor control performance when the system is disturbed. Thus modified FXLMS algorithm using L-point running average filter is developed to improve the control performance under the rapid acceleration and disturbance. The noise reduction quantity of modified Filtered-x LMS algorithm is more than original one in two cases. In the case of control for real instrumentation intake noise data, maximum residual noise of modified FXLMS algorithm is 2.5 times less than applied the FXLMS and also in the case of disturbed, the modified FXLMS algorithm shows excellent control performance but FXLMS algorithm cat not control.

사출 차량에서의 외란을 이용한 정밀 지향성 향상 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Aiming ability using Disturbance Measurement in the Firing Vehicle)

  • 지향성능은 발사차량의 정확성에 있어서 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구는 외란 가속도를 이용하여 지향구조물의 진동을 감지하는 방안과 실험 결과에 대하여 기술하였다. 주행 중 발생하는 진동 경향을 분석하기 위하여 가속도 자료를 이동평균과 힐버트 변환을 이용하여 신호 처리하였다. 다양한 외란에 대하여 가속도의 모드 계수를 얻었으며, 차량속도, 노면조건, 지향구조물의 특성을 차량 동특성의 진동을 변화시키는 요소로 간주하였다. 마지막으로 다양한 주행 조건의 진동 신호를 분류하기 위한 패턴인식에 역전파 신경망 이론을 이용하였다. 각 조건에 대하여 실험 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

Voltage disturbance detection method for HTS tape using electromagnetically coupled coils

  • This paper represents the detection method of voltage disturbance for high temperature superconducting (HTS) tape using electromagnetically coupled coils. In order to detect the voltage as the superconductor transits from the superconducting state to the normal conduction state, voltage taps are widely used to get the voltage signal. And voltage taps are connected to data acquisition device via signal wires. However this new suggested method can detect the superconducting transition voltage without signal wires between voltage taps and data acquisition device by using electromagnetically coupled coils. This system consists of two electromagnetically coupled coils, the first coil to detect and transmit the voltage of HTS tape and the second coil to pick up the transmitted voltage from the first coil. By using this new suggested method, we can build the 'separated voltage-detection system'. HTS tape and first coil are located under liquid nitrogen vessel and the second coil is located under room temperature condition. In this paper, experiments are performed to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. As the result of the experiment, the separated voltage-detection system using electromagnetically coupled coils can successfully observe superconducting-normal transition of HTS tapes.

혈액투석 환자의 우울 예측 요인 (Factors Predicting Depression in Hemodialysis Patients)

  • Purpose: This study was done to provide fundamental data for developing a depression prediction model by discovering main factors that affect depression in patients who do maintenance hemodialysis. Method: The subjects were 191 patients doing maintenance hemodialysis selected from outpatient dialysis clinics at 9 major general hospitals, The Instrument tools utilized in this study were adapted from depression, fatigue, sleep disturbance, stress, adaptation, symptoms, daily activities, and role limitation and thoroughly modified to verify reliability and validity. The collected data was analyzed with a SPSS-PC 11.0 Window Statistics Program for real numbers, percentage, average, standard deviation, and multiple regression. Results: The correlation factor for depression was (M=2.54) fatigue(M=3.12), sleep disturbance (M=2.82), stress(M=3.04), adaptation(M=2.53), daily activities(M=2.24), symptoms(M=2.37), and role limitation(M=2.24). The strongest factor that affected depression was explained by symptoms of the patients who performed hemodialysis. The analysis of the factors that affected depression revealed a $58.4\%$ prediction in symptoms, stress, role limitation, and adaptation. Conclusion: It has been confirmed that the regression equation model(Depression=7.351 + .266$^{\ast}$symptoms + .260$^{\ast}$stress -.l89$^{\ast}$adaptation + .057$^{\ast}$fatigue) of this research may serve as a prediction factor for depression in Hemodialysis Patients.

피츠버그 수면척도를 이용한 사상체질별 수면 비교 (Comparison of Sleep by Sasang Constitutional Type Using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to identify differences in sleep by Sasang constitutional type using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI). Methods The subjects of this study were 3,578 people who had information on Sasang constitutional type and PSQI among the data established at the Korean Medicine Data Center. We compared each item score in PSQI (subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep duration, habitual sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance, use of sleep medication, daytime dysfunction) and PSQI global scores by Sasang constitutional type using analysis of variance. Logistic regression was conducted to calculate the odds ratio of poor sleep by Sasang constitutional type. Results & Conclusions The SE type showed statistically significantly higher scores than the TE type and SY type in subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, habitual sleep efficiency, sleep disturbance, and PSQI global score, indicating poor sleep compared to other constitutional types. The odds ratio for poor sleep also shows that even after adjusting sex, age, height, and weight, the SE type was significantly higher than other constitutional types, indicating that the SE type could be a risk factor for poor sleep.

The local influence of LIU type estimator in linear mixed model

  • In this paper, we study the local influence analysis of LIU type estimator in the linear mixed models. Using the method proposed by Shi (1997), the local influence of LIU type estimator in three disturbance models are investigated respectively. Furthermore, we give the generalized Cook's distance to assess the influence, and illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method by example.

교대근무 간호사의 혈액과 체액 노출 사고 예측 요인과 감염예방행위의 매개효과: 영과잉 가산 자료 분석방법을 적용하여 (Predictors of Blood and Body Fluid Exposure and Mediating Effects of Infection Prevention Behavior in Shift-Working Nurses: Application of Analysis Method for Zero-Inflated Count Data)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the predictors of blood and body fluid exposure (BBFE) in multifaceted individual (sleep disturbance and fatigue), occupational (occupational stress), and organizational (hospital safety climate) factors, as well as infection prevention behavior. We also aimed to test the mediating effect of infection prevention behavior in relation to multifaceted factors and the frequency of BBFE. Methods: This study was based on a secondary data analysis, using data of 246 nurses from the Shift Work Nurses' Health and Turnover study. Based on the characteristics of zero-inflated and over-dispersed count data of frequencies of BBFE, the data were analyzed to calculate zero-inflated negative binomial regression within a generalized linear model and to test the mediating effect using SPSS 25.0, Stata 14.1, and PROCESS macro. Results: We found that the frequency of BBFE increased in subjects with disturbed sleep (IRR = 1.87, p = .049), and the probability of non-BBFE increased in subjects showing higher infection prevention behavior (IRR = 15.05, p = .006) and a hospital safety climate (IRR = 28.46, p = .018). We also found that infection prevention behavior had mediating effects on the occupational stress-BBFE and hospital safety climate-BBFE relationships. Conclusion: Sleep disturbance is an important risk factor related to frequency of BBFE, whereas preventive factors are infection prevention behavior and hospital safety climate. We suggest individual and systemic efforts to improve sleep, occupational stress, and hospital safety climate to prevent BBFE occurrence.

  • 데이터를 검색하고 저장하고 교환하기 위한 물적 토대의 인터페이스로 사용되는 네트워크 테크놀로지는 21세기 데이터자본주의 시대를 이끌고 있다. 일상의 거의 모든 커뮤니케이션을 지배하고 있는 네트워크 테크놀로지의 역량은 물리적 세계에서의 사회적 이해와 경험들을 사이버스페이스에서도 가시화하고 있다. 사이버스페이스에서의 인간 신체와 사물의 움직임은 사회적 맥락에 놓인다. 본고는 바로 이 현상에 주목하면서, 현실의 제 문제를 사이버스페이스를 통해 제기하는 행동주의 사례들을 살펴보았다. 특히 민주주의를 위한 비판적 예술과 사유를 정보의 영역과 결합하며 미적 상상력을 발휘해 온 전자교란극단의 디지털 행동주의를 연구의 대상으로 삼는다. 본론의 첫 번째 장에서는 사이버스페이스에서 벌어진 사회운동으로서의 행동주의의 의미를 개괄한다. 두 번째 장에서는 전자교란극단의 초기 퍼포먼스 행동주의를 대표하는 <플러드넷>의 대안성을 되돌아본다. 그리고 마지막 장에서는 <초국경 이민자 툴> 프로젝트의 시학적 의의를 분석한다. 이 과정을 통해 본고는 전자교란극단의 행동주의 퍼포먼스가 대안에 대한 상상력을 장려하는 비판미학으로서, 그리고 네트워크 테크놀로지의 매체성을 적극 활용하며 퍼포먼스 아트와 정치를 통합한 아방가르드 예술로서 동시대적 가치를 지닌다는 점을 논증한다.
