The purpose of this study was to establish the relationship between social support(MOS-SSS) and cognitive impairment(MMSE-K) to the elderly in long-term care facilities. The study subjects were 372 aged 65 and older who were admitted to care facilities located in D metropolitan city. Data were collected through a personal interview conducted by interviewers who visited each care facility in October 2018. As a result, the levels of cognitive impairment(MMSE-K) was significantly higher in the group with lower social support(MOS-SSS) scores. In correlation to the cognitive impairment and social support, the cognitive impairment score showed a significant positive correlation between the social support score (r=0.250, p<0.001). Therefore, the lower the social support level, the higher the level of cognitive impairment. In result of the logistic regression, the risk ratio of critical cognitive impairment increased significantly from 2.8 times (ORs=2.75, 95% CI=1.40 to 5.79) in the low group(Q1) than in the very high group(Q4) of social support scores. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows that the lower the social support, the higher the cognitive impairment. As such research suggests that the cognitive impairment of the elderly in care facilities increases with lower social support, it is necessary to seek concrete measures to improve social support as part of the measures to enhance the recognition capability of the elderly in care facilities.

DXA is the most commonly used BMD examination equipment with the best performance on reflecting the biological alteration with tiny change of bone density. In spite of the importance of the quality control to maintain the accuracy and precision of the examination, considerable number of hospitals are not conducting QC due to the difficulty and high cost of the phantom product. This study develops the cross revision phantom with 3D printer and the change of the degree of infilling filaments which can be readily secured, and provides the usefulness assessment of the developed phantom by comparing with existing products. The Hounsfield Units of ABS, TPU, PLA, 30% Cu-PLA, and 30% Al-PLA are assessed. The Hounsfield Units result at infilling rate 100% was $-149.74{\pm}2.36$, $-55.62{\pm}7.14$, $-7.68{\pm}3.82$, $87.53{\pm}1.07$, and $1795.20{\pm}16.15$. The L1, L2, L3 BMD of 3D printing phantom with linear regression model were $0.620{\pm}0.010g/cm^2$, $1.092{\pm}0.025g/cm^2$, $1.554{\pm}0.026g/cm^2$ which are statistically relevant to the existing phantom products. This result provides the base line data for various medical phantom produce and capability of proper quality control of DXA equipment.
The quality of service delivery by governments to their citizens is a subject of concern in the contemporary society. E-governance is a critical aspect that is transforming government operation and service delivery to citizens and other bodies through application of information technology. This research explores the state of e-governing focusing on nations that are developing with special attention to Pakistan. The difficulties and benefits encountered are identified. The results are vital for implementers of e-governing systems in these countries. The methodology applied entails a secondary research that involves analysis and synthesis of literature relating the research topic. The results reveal that Pakistan has made incredible steps in setting up e-governance systems with growth in internet use and access of data from a digital platform. The findings reveal that e-government is associated with multiple benefits including enhanced quality of services, cost efficiency in service provision, enhance transparency and elimination of corruption, provide the basis for eradication of poverty, boost economic stability of a country, and provide room for direct democracy. The research also found that developing countries experience challenges in form of financial constraints, poor ICT infrastructure, illiteracy on e-government, political consensus constraints, legal obstacles, social and cultural constraints. E-government has the capability to transform the quality of governance provided by governments, and policymakers and implementers should address the constraints that act as a hindrance to its implementation.

Naval weapons systems of the Republic of Korea are acquired through the Defense Planning Management System. Recently, acquisition of some naval ships have been delayed, and the causes of the delays have been recognized as inappropriate project management at the Execution Phase. However, we argue that the delay problem in naval ships acquisition should be approached, with due regard for the entire Defense Planning Management System. That is, We should try to investigate from Planning Phase to those of Programming, Budgeting and Execution Phases. Therefore, in this study, we investigated the actual cases of the delay in naval acquisition at all phases of the Defense Planning Management System. Based on the investigation, we tried to identify the naval ship Acquisition Delay Factors and find out the Weights of those factors. As the next step, we calculated the Influence Measures on the naval missions, including the Cost of Naval Capability Gap derived from the delays in acquisition of naval ships. As a final step, we calculated the Acquisition Delay Measures based on the interrelationship between the Acquisition Delay Factors and the Influence Measures. Then we evaluated and analyzed what the results stand for. Finally, we made suggestions for future improvement. The improvement suggestions we made for preventing delay in acquisition of naval ships in this study are as follows. First, we need a shift in perception. It is necessary to measure the Acquisition Delay Factors in acquiring naval ships and manage them from the Planning Phase. Second, resolution must be concerted efforts. All relevant agencies, not just a few, should work together to resolve the problems of acquisition delay. Third, analysis must be based on the accumulation of data. This allows the elaborating of naval ship Acquisition Delay Factors and Delay Measures. If this research method is applied to other military weapons systems in the future, we may be able to not just identify the Acquisition Delay Factors in acquisition of other military weapons systems, but also pursue improvement in those cases.

This paper is a study on the digitization of an analog 3D pen. The term digital implies features such as homeostasis, transformability, combinability, reproducibility, and convenience of storage. One device that produces a combination of these digital characteristics is a 3D printer, but its industrial use is limited due to low productivity and limitations with materials and physical characteristics. In particular, improvements are required to use 3D printers, such as better user accessibility owing to expertise and skills in modeling software and printers. Complementing this fact is the 3D pen, which is excellent in portability and ease of use, but has a limitation in that it cannot be digitized. Therefore, in order to secure a digitalization capability and ease of use, and to secure the safety of printing materials that pose controversial hazards during the printing process, research problems and alternatives have been derived by combining food, and digitization was demonstrated with a newly developed 3D pen. In order to digitize the 3D pen, a sensor in a structured device detects the motion of an analog 3D pen, and this motion is converted into 3D data (X-Y-Z coordinate values) through a spatial analysis algorithm. To prove this method, the similarity was confirmed by visualization using MeshLab version 1.3.4. It is expected that this food pen can be used in youth education and senior healthcare programs in the future.

Researches on military weapons are actively studied to improve national defense power of each country. The military weapon system is being used not only as a weapon but also as a reconnaissance and surveillance device for places where it is difficult for people to access. If such a weapon system becomes an object of attack, military data that is important to national security can be leaked. Furthermore, if a device is taken, it can be used as a terrorist tool to threaten its own country. So, security of military devices is necessarily required. In order to enhance the security of a weapon system such as drone, it is necessary to form a chain of trust(CoT) that gives trustworthiness to the overall process of the system from the power on until application is executed. In this paper, by analyzing the trusted computing-based boot technology, we derive trusted boot technology components and classify them based on hardware dependence/independence. We expect our classification of hardware dependence/independence to be applied to the trusted boot technology of our self-development ultraprecision weapon system to improve the defense capability in our military.

In this paper, we propose a prototype system for abnormal sound detection and identification which detects and recognizes the abnormal situations by means of analyzing audio information coming in real time from CCTV cameras under surveillance environment. The proposed system is composed of two layers: The first layer is an one-class support vector machine, i.e., support vector data description (SVDD) that performs rapid detection of abnormal situations and alerts to the manager. The second layer classifies the detected abnormal sound into predefined class such as 'gun', 'scream', 'siren', 'crash', 'bomb' via a sparse representation classifier (SRC) to cope with emergency situations. The proposed system is designed in a hierarchical manner via a mixture of SVDD and SRC, which has desired characteristics as follows: 1) By fast detecting abnormal sound using SVDD trained with only normal sound, it does not perform the unnecessary classification for normal sound. 2) It ensures a reliable system performance via a SRC that has been successfully applied in the field of face recognition. 3) With the intrinsic incremental learning capability of SRC, it can actively adapt itself to the change of a sound database. The experimental results with the qualitative analysis illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

Logs from various security system can reveal the attack trials for accessing private data without authorization. The logs can be a kind of confidence deriving factors that a certain IP address is involved in the trial. This paper presents a rule-based expert system for derivation of privacy violation confidence using various security systems. Generally, security manager analyzes and synthesizes the log information from various security systems about a certain IP address to find the relevance with privacy violation cases. The security managers' knowledge handling various log information can be transformed into rules for automation of the log analysis and synthesis. Especially, the coverage of log analysis for personal information leakage is not too broad when we compare with the analysis of various intrusion trials. Thus, the number of rules that we should author is relatively small. In this paper, we have derived correlation among logs from IDS, Firewall and Webserver in the view point of privacy protection and implemented a rule-based expert system based on the derived correlation. Consequently, we defined a method for calculating the score which represents the relevance between IP address and privacy violation. The UI(User Interface) expert system has a capability of managing the rule set such as insertion, deletion and update.
