우리나라 초고층 집합주택의 방재계획에 관한 연구(I) (A Study on the Fire Prevention of High-Rise Apartment Buildings in Korea)

  • As the society is industrialization and urbanization, the increase in density of urban population brought about the rise of the land value and the shortage of the land for housing, as a result urban housing shortage was on the rise in a new social problem. According to this high-rise apartment buildings is under construction, but that is required habitation and safety, especially security for fire safety, because it is various age group residents in for 24 hours. Consequently this study aims to present problems and countermeasures against fire safety of high-rise apartment buildings and to construct a residential space to minimize human life and property damage caused by a fire.

대설피해액 추정을 위한 다중회귀 모형의 적용성 평가 - 강원도 지역을 중심으로 - (Estimation of Snow Damages using Multiple Regression Model - The Case of Gangwon Province -)

  • 자연재난에 따른 인명 및 재산피해의 증가로 재난 예방 및 대응에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 1994년에서 2013년까지 지난 20년간 자연재해에 의한 피해액은 약 12조 원 중 대설에 의한 피해가 약 13%로 대설도 강우나 태풍보다는 작은 규모이나, 의미 있는 규모의 피해를 야기하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 대설피해액 추정을 위해 강원지역을 대상으로 기후관련 요인(최심적설량, 평균습도, 최저기온), 사회 경제적 요인(농촌지역인구밀도, 지역총생산량)을 독립변수로 하는 동시입력방식의 다중회귀모형을 구축하였다. 적용결과, 극한 값들에 대한 설명력이 다소 낮기는 하지만, 수정결정계수가 0.7 이상인 경우도 다수 존재하는 등 대설 발생 시 신속한 재난 대응에 활용하기에는 적용성이 충분하다고 판단된다.

  • 최근, 국제적으로는 e-Navigation을 지향하는 해상안전에 대한 연구가 활발하고, 국내외적으로 발생되는 해상사고로부터 발생되는 막대한 환경 인명 재산 피해에 대한 국민적 인식에 따라 해상관제기술에서 최신IT산업의 융합 필요성이 제기되어 왔다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 해상의 상황을 인지하고, 선박의 위치 뿐만 아니라 선박의 상황과 의도에 기반한 차세대 해상교통관제시스템을 설계하고 이를 통하여 의사결정지원(DSS)과 항행지원 구조를 설계하였다. 제안 시스템을 통하여 운항 선박의 상황확인, 추론, 위험관리를 통한 의사결정지원과 항행지원을 통하여 보다 시의적절한 정보를 제공하여 선박의 운항을 쉽게 할 수 있으며, 충돌 등 위험상황을 예방할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

  • In December 2017, a fire at the Jecheon Sports Center caused 29 deaths and 40 injuries, and about 2 billion won in property damage. It is a facility used by unspecified people as a publicly used establishment with a piloti structure. The damage was expanded due to the ignition of combustible exterior materials, Lack of fire protection in horizontal and vertical penetrations. Although legislation has improved since the fire, it is not retroactively applied, increasing the risk of fire in existing buildings. Accordingly, it is necessary to examine the case of the Jecheon Sports Center fire and draw out the problems. In this study, the fire simulation results and the Jecheon Sports Center fire are comparatively analyzed and used as basic data for fire reduction measures in publicly used establishment. As a result of the fire simulation drive, in the case of the second floor, the room temperature exceeded the human life safety standard of 60 ℃ after about 700 seconds had passed. In the case of three floor, it is predicted that the indoor temperature will exceed about 350 ℃. and temporary complexation will occur in the indoor combustibles.

YOLO에 기반한 유해 야생동물 피해방지 및 퇴치 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Prevention and Eradication System for Harmful Wild Animals Based on YOLO)

  • 해마다 야생동물이 인간의 거주지에 출몰하는 횟수가 증가하여 재산 및 인명 피해가 증가하고 있다. 특히, 고속도로나 농가에 야생동물이 출몰하는 경우에 그 피해가 더 심하다. 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해 고속도로에는 생태통로와 유도펜스를 설치하였다. 또한, 농가에서도 문제를 해결하기 위해 센서를 이용한 경적 퇴치기, 그물망 설치, 배설물로 퇴치 하는 등방법을 쓰고 있으나 고가의 비용이 들며 그 효과가 높지 않다. 본 논문에서는 AI 기반 영상분석 방법인 YOLO(You Only Live Once)를 이용하여 유해동물을 실시간 분석하여 오작동을 줄였고, 퇴치장치로 고휘도 LED와 초음파 주파수 스피커를 이용였다. 스피커는 동물들만 들을 수 있는 가청주파수를 출력하여 야생동물만 퇴치하도록 효율성을 높였다. 제안하는 시스템은, 경제적으로 설치할 수 있도록 범용 보드를 사용하여 설계되어 있으며 기존의 센서를 이용한 장치들보다 감지 성능이 높다.

  • 정확한 예측은 미래에 일어날 현상에 대해 효과적으로 준비 혹은 대처 할 수 있게 해준다. 특히, 기상 현상은 인간의 생활과 밀접한 연관이 있으며, 발생할 수 있는 기상 및 재난 예측을 통해 인명, 재산 등의 피해로부터 예방 할 수 있게 해준다. 해상에서 발생할 수 있는 재난 중 하나인 유류유출 사고에 대해 빠르고 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 유출유의 이동과 주변 해역의 기상을 정확하게 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 분류 및 회귀 예측과 관련된 연구에서 준수한 성능 및 예측 가능성을 보여준 기계학습 기법으로 서포트 벡터 머신, 가우시안 프로세스, 다층 퍼셉트론, 방사기저함수 네트워크의 총 4 개의 기계학습 기법을 선별하였다. 선별한 기계학습 기법을 이용하여 유류유출의 탐지와 바람, 강우량, 오존 등의 기상 데이터를 예측하는 연구들의 연구 방법과 결과 등을 설명하며 이를 활용한 기계학습 기반 유류유출 예측 모델의 적용 가능성을 제시한다.

장대화물열차 제동 시 연결기에 발생하는 충격력 해석 및 분석 (Analysis and Evaluation of Reduction of Impact Force in a Coupler when a Long Freight Car Brakes)

  • In long freight trains, there is a brake time delay in the neighboring freight cars that causes damage and fractures of couplers, especially the knuckle of them. If there is a problem for couplers in the cars, this could cause a derailment and lead to damage of human life and property damage. In this study, maximum forces on the couplers are studied when a long freight car brakes, with brake delay time and coupler gap. We have made a dynamic model of 50 freight cars and couplers, applying contact between couplers and a characteristic curve for expressing force and displacement of buffers with SIMPACK, a multi-body dynamics program. We use EN 14531-2 from the British Standards Institution, a standard of freight car brakes for the verification of the dynamic model. We also use a simplified method to analyze the dynamic model of 50 freight cars. With changing coupler gap and brake delay time, we do comparative analysis with AAR M-201 from the Association of American Railroads, a standard of AAR couplers. From this result, we find that the standard on fatigue limit is satisfied, such that the brake delay time is within 0.06 second if the coupler gap of the AAR coupler is within 20 millimeters.

해상교통 상황인지 향상을 위한 합성 데이터셋 구축방안 연구 (A Study on Synthetic Dataset Generation Method for Maritime Traffic Situation Awareness)

  • Ship collision accidents not only cause loss of life and property damage, but also cause marine pollution and can become national disasters, so prevention is very important. Most of these ship collision accidents are caused by human factors due to the navigation officer's lack of vigilance and carelessness, and in many cases, they can be prevented through the support of a system that helps with situation awareness. Recently, artificial intelligence has been used to develop systems that help navigators recognize the situation, but the sea is very wide and deep, so it is difficult to secure maritime traffic datasets, which also makes it difficult to develop artificial intelligence models. In this paper, to solve these difficulties, we propose a method to build a dataset with characteristics similar to actual maritime traffic datasets. The proposed method uses segmentation and inpainting technologies to build a foreground and background dataset, and then applies compositing technology to create a synthetic dataset. Through prototype implementation and result analysis of the proposed method, it was confirmed that the proposed method is effective in overcoming the difficulties of dataset construction and complementing various scenes similar to reality.

초기 화재 진압을 위한 자율주행 소방 로봇 시스템 설계 (Design of an Autonomous Firefighting Robot System for Early Fire Suppression)

  • The initial suppression of fires is critical to protecting human and material resources. In response to this, fire prevention and suppression systems using artificial intelligence and robot technology have recently been studied. In particular, an autonomous driving system that detects a fire using CNN is attracting attention. These systems respond quickly in the event of a fire, enabling initial fire suppression. However, since the conventional system is not equipped with a fire suppression function, direct intervention of firefighters is required. (1) To overcome these limitations, we propose an autonomous fire detection robot system equipped with a fire suppression function ROS-based firefighting system called 'ADEFS' (Autonomous-Detect & Extinguish-Fire Service). (2) The system performs three tasks to detect and extinguish. Tasks are to run the Ros-based SLAM Navigation, YOLO-CNN, and Four-degree freedom manipulator connected to the fire extinguishing pump. (3) Through this, early response in the event of a fire can minimize damage to life and property and can reduce labor costs, which can also be expected to reduce costs for companies.

AUTOMATIC CABBAGE FEEDING, PILING, AND UNLOADING SYSTEM FOR TRACTOR IMPLEMENTED CHINESE CABBAGE HARVESTER

  • Since Chinese cabbages weigh 3 to 5kgf and are big in size at the time of harvest, handling operations such as harvesting, loading and unloading including transportation require the highest labor demand among all other cultivation processes. Recently, though several cabbage harvesters were developed in Japan and Europe, those harvesters were not suitable for Chinese cabbages cultivated in Korea because of the size and shape. The cabbage harvester is almost meaningless without any proper cabbage piling and pallet unloading mechanism. Most harvesters developed so far adopted a sort of slide and free falling way in collecting cabbages into the pallet. Three or four labors are usually required for cleaning incoming cabbages and loading those in the pallet. Because of the required time for piling cabbages without severe damage and the required space capacity to carry empty and loaded pallets, harvesting speed should be adjusted in accordance with time required for consecutive operations. Up to now, any automatic or semi-automatic collecting device has not been developed in the world to pile cabbages on the layer one by one into the pallet in the ordered way with little damage and to unload pallet from the harvester continuously during the harvest process. To compromise system expenses and function, Semi-automatic cabbage piling and pallet unloading mechanism was devised and it required one labor. The foldable mesh pallet with a size of 1050mm x 1050mm x 1000mm and holding capacity of around 70 cabbages was utilized. The prototype for piling and unloading mechanism was composed of three parts such as feeding device, automatic piling device with retractable bellows, and pallet unloading device. Prior to developing the prototype, the geometric properties and the amount of the damage of the cabbage caused during the piling operation were investigated. Considering the height of the pallet, a series of cabbage carrying plates were mounted to the bracket chain to lift and to carry cabbages to the loading device. Indoor laboratory experiments showed that the cabbage carrying chain conveyor worked successfully. Considering the conveying speed 0.46m/sec of the pull up belt from the cabbages on the ground, the speed of cabbage carrying chain conveyor worked property in the range of 0.26m/sec to 0.36m/sec. The system allowed the operator to modify the position of cabbage slightly. Overall system worked successfully resulting into almost same capacity without severe damage to the cabbage as human did.
