대학생의 가족학대경험, 사회부적응 및 자아탄력성과 일상생활만족의 관계 (Relationship between Family Abuse Experience, Social Maladaptation, Ego Resilience and Daily Life Satisfaction in University Students)

  • The purposes of this study were to find the correlation of family abuse experience, social maladaptation, ego resilience and daily life satisfaction in university students, and to explore the mediating role between ego resilience between family abuse experience, social maladaptation and daily life satisfaction. The subjects were 265 university students. The data were analyzed with frequency, Pearson's correlation and structural equation modeling by SPSS and AMOS. Instruments were Bradburn(1969)'s The Structure of Psychological Well-being, Olson and Barnes(1982)' Quality of Life, Straus(1988)'s CTSPC(Parent-Child Conflict Tactics Scales), Shin(2001)'s social maladaptation of Korean General Health, and Block and Kremen(1996)'s ego resilience. The major findings were as follows; Family abuse experience and social maladaptation were negatively correlated with ego resilience and daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience was positively correlated with daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience mediated the effects of family abuse experience, social maladaptation and daily life satisfaction. Family abuse experience and social maladaptation negatively influenced ego resilience and daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience positively influenced daily life satisfaction. Thus special education program and counseling should be provided to increase university students' daily life satisfaction through in order to built ego resilience.

국제결혼한 한국남성의 사회부적응 우울 및 자아탄력성과 일상생활만족에 대한 연구 (Relationship on Social Maladaptation, Depression, Ego Resilience and Daily Life Satisfaction of Intermarried Korean Men)

The subject of the survey was 184 intermarried Korean men. The data were analyzed with frequency, Pearson's correlation and structural equation modeling by SPSS and AMOS. Instruments were social maladapatation and depression of Shin(2001)'s Mental Health Scale, Block and Kremen(1996)'s Ego Resilience Scale, and Bradburn(1969)'s Structure of Psychological well-being, and Olson and Barnes(1982)' Quality of Life. The major findings were as follows: Social maladapataion and depression were negatively correlated with ego resilience and daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience was positively correlated with daily life satisfaction. Ego resilience mediated the effects of social maladaptation, depression and daily life satisfaction. Social maladaptation and depression influenced ego resilience. Ego resilience influenced positively daily life satisfaction. In conclusion, it is important to intervene intermarried Korean men's daily life satisfaction through special education program and counseling in order to build ego resilience.

Daily Life Satisfaction Among Thai People: Socioeconomic Comparison

  • This descriptive study evaluated the satisfaction in daily life of Thai people according to participants' socioeconomic characteristics. The accidental sample included 676 Thai people aged 20 and older who lived in Bangkok and urban Saraburi. The satisfaction in daily life questionnaire (${\alpha}=0.86$) was used to collect data. The ranking for each aspect of daily life satisfaction arranged from high to low are: family life (mean=3.39), human relations, housing, food, job, health, and income (mean=2.99). Females were found to have a significantly higher satisfaction with daily life than males (mean=22.81 vs. 21.91). Those who lived in Saraburi province were found to have a higher satisfaction with daily life than those in Bangkok. Married participants, participants age 50-59, participants from two-generation households of parents and unmarried children, participants who stated that they took better care of their health now compared to one year ago, and participants who consulted a doctor in the past month were found to have higher satisfaction with daily life than their counterparts.

치과기공사의 일상생활 만족도에 관한 연구 (A study of the daily life satisfaction of the dental technicians)

  • Purpose: In this study, we aim to provide fundamental database for the development of programs that will enhance the satisfactions of the dental technicians' daily life. To this end, we examined various factors that affect the subjects' social and emotional life satisfactions and their overall daily lives. Methods: Out of the random selection of the registered dental offices of Dental Technicians in Seoul, Gyeonggido, and Gangwon-do districts. Four hundred working dental technicians were asked to fill out the questionnaire from the 1st of June to the 25th of August, 2011. We collected the 355 sheets of the questionnaire and took frequency analysis, t-test, analysis of variance and structural equation modeling using SPSS Win 12.0 program. Results: The results of this study is as follows; Firstly, social satisfaction of the subjects turned out 3.71 on average, emotional satisfaction and daily life satisfaction in general were shown 2.77 and 3.19 respectively. Secondly, Age(p<.05), Career(p<.001), Working environment satisfaction(p<.001) showed significant differences in social life satisfaction area, whereas monthly earning(p<.05), working environment satisfaction(p<.001) revealed meaningful differences in the domain of emotional life satisfaction. Thirdly, in the overall satisfaction of daily lives, monthly earning(p<.05), career(p<.01), working environment satisfaction(p<.001) indicated significant difference. Conclusion: Seen from the results of this study, we purport to develop a variety of programs for better working conditions and to further research on the variables affecting the dental technicians' satisfaction of daily lives.

  • How satisfied or dissatisfied people are with aspects of daily life such as housing, income, health, family, food, human relations, and work provides vital information about them. On the basis of a nation-wide random sample survey in Japan in October 2013, this article analyzes Japanese citizens' daily life satisfaction in a snapshot. The big picture of Japanese daily life is that they are more or less satisfied with their daily life, although income, work, and housing register lower levels of satisfaction in comparison to other aspects like food, family, human relations, and health. Their satisfaction is focused on food, family, and human relations.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships among social participation, self-rated health status, self-esteem and daily life satisfaction of the elderly with disabilities. It especially focused on the mediating effects of self-rated health status and self-esteem on the relationship between social participation and daily life satisfaction. Methods : From the fifth panel survey of employment for the disabled, data for 518 elderly over age of 65 were analyzed with SPSS 22.0, SmartPLS 2.0 M3 and the Sobel test. Results : First, social participation of the elderly with disabilities had a positive influence on the self-rated health status and self-esteem. The direct effect of self-rated health status and self-esteem on daily life satisfaction was statistically significant. However, the influence of social participation on daily life satisfaction was not statistically significant. Second, the self-rated health status and self-esteem had a mediating effect on the relationship between social participation and daily life satisfaction. Conclusions : This study shows that it is important to provide an integrated social participation support program that coincides with a variety of social programs to elderly with disabilities.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 장애인의 대인관계가 일상생활만족도에 미치는 영향관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 연구대상은 장애인고용패널 5차 자료(2019)의 등록장애인 3,907명이며, 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대인관계가 일상생활만족도에 미치는 영향은 정적(+)으로 유의한 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 대인관계가 자기효능감에 미치는 영향은 정적(+) 유의수준으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자기효능감이 일상생활만족도에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 정적(+) 유의수준을 파악하였다. 넷째, 대인관계가 일상생활만족도에 미치는 영향관계에서 자기효능감의 정적(+) 부분매개효과를 검증하였다. 장애인의 일상생활만족도 향상을 위해서는 대인관계와 자기효능감을 증진시켜야 하는 것을 규명하였다. 이를 통해 장애인의 일상생활만족도를 높이기 위한 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

주간공동생활을 하는 농촌 노인의 일상생활활동 수행능력과 우울이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Instrumental Activities of Daily Living and Depression on the Life Satisfaction of the Elderly Living Together during the Daytime in the Rural Areas)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the life satisfaction during the communal life of the elderly in rural areas. Methods: A total of 143 subjects were selected through convenient sampling. Data were collected in self-reporting questionnaires from 1 August to 30 August 2019. The data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) was significantly different according to age, education, and cohabitation. Depression was significantly different according to gender, age, education, and cohabitation. Life satisfaction was significantly different according to age, education, religion, and cohabitation. There was a positive correlation between Instrumental Activities of Daily Living and depression, except for life satisfaction. 41.0% of life satisfaction was explained by depression, religion, and IADL. Conclusion: The results of this study may be useful in understanding the life satisfaction level of elderly communal life and developing more specific programs for mental activity programs, and depression management strategies are required.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인의 일상생활 동작수행이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 우울의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 노인실태조사(2020) 자료의 10,097명이며, 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 노인의 일상생활 동작수행을 일상생활 불편과 동작수행 어려움으로 구분하여 분석한 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 일상생활 동작수행 불편과 동작수행 어려움이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향은 유의미한 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 노인의 일상생활 불편과 동작수행 어려움이 우울에 미치는 영향은 통계적 유의수준으로 나타났다. 셋째, 우울이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의미하게 파악하였다. 넷째, 노인의 일상생활 불편과 동작수행 어려움이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 관계에서 우울의 부분매개효과를 검증하였다. 이러한 결과는 노인의 삶의 만족도 향상을 위해서 일상생활 불편과 동작수행 어려움, 우울 감소시켜야 하는 것을 규명하였다. 이를 통해 노인의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위한 논의를 제시하였다.

청소년의 외모관심, 외모만족도와 생활만족도의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Interest in Appearance, Appearance Satisfaction and Life Satisfaction in Adolescents)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationships between appearance interest, appearance satisfaction, and life satisfaction of adolescent, to disclose the differences of these variables according to demographic characteristics, and to examine the determinants of life satisfaction. The subjects were 322 teenaged girls (167 middle school students and 155 high school students) living in Seoul. The variables of appearance interest were plastic surgery, weight control, clothing interest, and hairstyle interest. Life satisfaction included school life satisfaction and daily life satisfaction. Appearance satisfaction had negative relationships with plastic surgery interest and weight control interest, while appearance satisfaction had no relationships with clothing interest and hairstyle interest. School life satisfaction and daily life satisfaction had negative relationships with plastic surgery interest. The upper class adolescents had high level of clothing interest and life satisfaction, and lower class adolescents had high level of plastic surgery interest and had low appearance satisfaction as compared to other classes. The adolescent group with high school grade had high level of appearance satisfaction, and the group with low school grade had high level of weight control interest. The life satisfaction was influenced by appearance satisfaction the most, and the next in the order by school grade, residence area, and weight control interest. The explanatory power of the four variables was 30.8%. Social stratification and whether mothers had an occupation or not had an indirect effect on the life satisfaction.
