대전광역시 양봉농가의 꿀벌질병 감염률 조사 (Prevalence of honeybee (Apis mellifera) disease in Daejeon)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of honey bee (Apis mellifera) disease in Daejeon. From May to September in 2014, 63 samples were collected from 63 apiculture farms in the regions and reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was conducted. A total of 11 infectious pathogens, including 6 virus, 2 bacteria, 2 fungi, and 1 parasite, were investigated in honeybee colonies suffering from symptom of sudden collapse, depopulation or paralysis. The infectious pathogens and infection rates among 63 honeybee colonies detected were as follows: sacbrood virus (12.7%), chronic bee paralysis virus (1.6%), stonebrood (11.1%), American foulbrood (19.0%), European foulbrood (6.3%), respectively. The result indicate that foul-brood was most prevalent disease in apiculture farms in Daejeon area.

대전지역 양계 농가의 추백리 항체 조사 (Study on the seroprevalence of Salmonella Pullorum in boiler farms in Daejeon area)

  • In order to investigate the seroprevalence of Salmonella Pullorum in boilers reared in Daejeon area, 509 samples were collected from 10 boiler farms randomly selected from 38. The survey was carried out during 6 months from April to October in 2007. Out of 509 chickens, 35 (6.9%) were seropositive and average titer was $2^{4.8}$. The seroprevalence by district was 5.5% (5/90) in Dong-gu, 4.1 % (4/96) in Seo-gu, 7.9% (24/303) in Yuseong-gu, 10.0% (2/20) in Daedeok-gu.

  • In order to survey the prevalence of Toxocara cams in soil of playground in a detached dwelling area, 150 samples were taken from playground 50 unit. The survey was carried out during 3 months from July to September in 2006. The Egg of Toxocara canis were detected in 6 samples (4.0%) from 150 cases of playground. The prevalence of T canis by month was 6.0% in July, 4.0% in August, 2.0% in September, respectively. This study results suggested that the prevalence of T canis were decreased in 2006 compared to 18.5% (30 positive/162 samples) in 2000.

대전지역 길고양이의 톡소포자충(Toxoplasma gondii) 감염 실태 조사 (Investigation of Toxoplasma gondii infection on stray cats in Daejeon)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the prevalence rate of Toxoplasma gondii on 217 stray cats in Daejeon. The positive infection rate of T. gondii was 15.7% in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), 12.4% in latex agglutination test (LAT), 14.7% in indirect immunofluorescent antibody test (IFA) and 0.5% in polymerase chain reaction (PCR) respectively. In districts, Yuseong-gu was shown the highest seropositive rate of T. gondii as 31.8% in ELISA, 22.7% in LAT and 31.8% in IFA. In gender, the seropositive rate of female cats was slightly higher than that of male cats as 17.2% in ELISA, 15.2% in LAT, 15.2% in IFA and 1.0% in PCR. Cats captured in National science museum, detached house and apartment was shown relatively high prevalence rate of T. gondii.

  • 본 논문은 지방자치단체의 위상과 역할이 확대되면서 지방의 도시 이미지 제고에 있어서의 도시 아이덴티티 확립과 대전지역의 도시 발전측면에서 보존 육성 개발하는 전략을 수립하는 전략을 제시하고 활성화 방향을 설정하는 실천적인 핵심적인 과정의 창출에 대한 모델을 제시하고 한다. 대전광역시가 직면하고 있는 지역개발의 새로운 패러다임으로서 도시 문화적 전략과 그 한계와 진화를 이해하고 차별적인 도시 이미지 구축하기 위하여 세계의 선진 사례들과의 비교, 분석을 통해 제시한다. 또한 대전광역시에 대한 도시이미지브랜드의 핵심적인 아이디어를 도출하고 성공전략을 도출하기 위한 가이드 라인을 제시하고자 한다. 대전시의 도시브랜드에 대한 포지셔닝 분석을 통해 대전광역시에 적합하고 차별성과 상징성을 갖는 도시 이미지 및 브랜드 개발 시스템 개발에 대한 제언을 통해 유니버셜 및 지속가능한 디자인으로서 대전시의 도시디자인 및 도시마케팅에 대한 개념을 이해하고자 한다.

대전시 녹지계획을 위한 연결성 분석에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Connectivity for Green Space Planning in Daejeon Metropolitan City)

  • Daejeon is a large city in Korea and very high-speedly developing city. Recently urban area is expanding and large forest patch is fragmenting into small habitats because of urban sprawl. The fragmentation of large forest patch decreases the size of habitats and increases the loss of biodiversity in urban area. This study is to analysis the connectivity of green space of Daejeon metropolitan city, and suggest the optimum location of greening site and corridor in order to increase the connectivity of green space of Daejeon metropolitan city. The findings of this study are as follows; (1) The result of this study showed that ${\alpha}$ and ${\gamma}$ index are -0.24 and 0.20. A ${\alpha}$ index is very low and a ${\gamma}$ index is relatively low. (2) The dispersion was very high, for urban forest patches were isolated through fragmentation. Therefore, it needed ecological corridors in order to connect the patches. (3) A urban streams were very important in connectivity of urban green space. Urban riparian corridor must be preserved and restored. (4) A urban green space policy and planning must be prepared to increase the connectivity and assessment of alternatives must be accomplished from perspective of connectivity. The results of this study show the practical implications in perspective of green space planning and policy in Daejeon metropolitan city. The suggestions by findings of this study are to connect green space between large forest patch in urban fringe and island green space in inner city. Also, It is required that urban stream is restored to natural feature for use of corridor by wildlife.

대청호 주원천 인공습지의 오염물질 정화효율 평가 (Evaluation of treatment efficiencies of pollutants in daecheong lake juwon stream constructed wetlands)

  • This study focused on evaluating the efficiency of the removal of non-point source pollution by Daecheong Lake Juwon Stream constructed wetlands. The constructed wetland system is a surface flow type designed in the year 2007 for purifying eutrophic water of Daecheong Lake Juwon Stream. The value of conductivity, suspended solids(SS), chemical oxygen demand using a potassium permanganate($COD_{Mn}$), five-day biochemical oxygen demand($BOD_5$), total nitrogen(T-N), total phosphorous(T-P), and pH in inflow averaged 220.2, 2.46, 3.33, 1.34, 2.00, 0.04 mg/L and 7.24, respectively and in outflow averaged 227.9, 1.12, 3.34, 0.87, 1.16, 0.02 mg/L and 7.45, respectively. The average removal efficiency of constructed wetlands was 30 % for SS, 22 % for $BOD_5$, 45 % for T-N and 31 % for T-P. The removal rates of SS, $BOD_5$ and T-N in the spring, summer and autumn were higher than those in winter. The removal rate of T-P was not significant different in all seasons. The amounts of pollutants removal in the constructed wetlands were higher in the order of $3^{rd}$ < $2^{nd}$ < $1^{st}$ wetland for SS and T-P, $2^{nd}$ < $3^{rd}$ < $1^{st}$ wetland for $BOD_5$ and T-N. Therefore, our findings suggest that the constructed wetlands could well treat the eutrophic Daecheong Lake Juwon Stream waters.

  • In this paper, bus station design is presented as a component of public design to develop the integrated city public image of Daejeon Metropolitan City through the study of city characteristics and the direction of future development. Design concept is the mutual understanding of public image and human centered sense, and comfortable bus station which is correspond with future development direction and applicable for digital informationization is selected. Design components are bus shelter, information board, bench, vending machine, a wastebasket, billboards and so forth.
