DSP 디지털 제어기법에 의한 DC-DC 컨버터의 동시제어 (Simultaneous Control of DC-DC Converter by DSP Digital Controller)

  • This paper presents a multi output converter system that controls, simultaneously and independently, the separate Buck converter and Boost converter with the different specification by one DSP digital controller. As two separate converters are regulated by only one DSP, it is possible to achieve the simple digital control circuit for regulating multi output DC-DC converter. By setting the software switch state, PI and Fuzzy controller can be applied as a controller for each converter without any change of hardware. Also, it is included the control characteristics comparison between PI and Fuzzy controller. The control characteristics of each PWM DC-DC converter is validated by experimental results.

  • In this Paper. the DSP implementation of induction motor drive is Presented on the viewpoint of the design and experiment. The speed estimation of control system for induction motor drive is designed on the base of neural network speed estimator. This neural network speed estimator is experimentally applied to the induction motor system. This system Provides the satisfactory results.

  • 기존의 아날로그 제어방식과는 달리 디지털 제어 방식은 기본적으로 마이크로프로세서를 포함하고 있기 때문에 아날로그 제어방식에서는 할 수 없었던 DC-DC 컨버터 내부 파라미터에 대한 모니터링이 가능하며, 아날로그 제어방식에서는 처음의 사양에 의해 고정된 출력전압을 얻었지만 디지털 제어 방식에서는 PC와 DC-DC 컨버터의 통신을 통하여 사용자가 원하는 임의의 전압을 얻어낼 수 있고 원격제어가 가능하다. 또 한 PC와의 통신을 통해 원거리에 있는 DC-DC 컨버터에 정확한 전압이 출력되고 있는지를 알 수 있는 원격 감시도 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 DSP(TMS320C31)을 이용한 DC-DC 컨버터를 설계하기 위해 간단한 Buck 컨버터를 구성하였으며, Buck 컨버터는 15V 입력으로부터 DSP의 에뮬레이터를 이용하여 PC상에서 원격으로 0V에서 5V까지 다양한 출력 전압을 만들 수 있다. PWM의 듀티(Duty) 제어를 위한 제어기로써는 DSP를 이용하여 간단하면서도 가장 많이 사용되는 PID제어기 중에서 PD제어기를 사용하였으며, 이 디지털 제어방식 컨버터의 실용성을 검토하기 위해 과도상태의 특성과 정상 상태의 특성을 비교, 분석하여 본 논문에서 설계된 DC-DC 컨버터의 우수성을 확인하였다.

디지털 보청기 DSP Chip 파라미터 적합 최적화 (Digital Hearing Aid DSP Chip Parameter Fitting Optimization)

  • DSP chip parameters of a digital hearing aid (HA) should be optimally selected or fitted for hearing impaired persons. The more precise parameter fitting guarantees the better compensation of the hearing loss (HL). Digital HAs adopt DSP chips for more precise fitting of various HL threshold curve patterns. A specific DSP chip such as Gennum GB3211 was designed and manufactured in order to match up to about 4.7 billion different possible HL cases with combination of 7 limited parameters. This paper deals with a digital HA fitting program which is developed for optimal fitting of GB3211 DSP chip parameters. The fitting program has completed features from audiogram input to DSP chip interface. The compensation effects of the microphone and the receiver are also included. The paper shows some application examples.

밀링공정중 절삭조건 변화에 따른 절삭력 추종제어를 위한 DSP보드 응용 (DPS Board Appication for Regulation of Cutting Force under Varying Cutting Conditions during Milling Process)

  • Spindle motor current is used to estimate the cutting force indirectly and control the feed rate for the cutting force regulation. The proposed algorithm is implemented to a DSP board based hardware for the industrial application. The software to make POP terminal communicate with the DSP board and POP server is coded under Windows 95 environment. Experiments under varying cutting conditions show that the DSP board recognizes the information of installed cutting tool and cutting conditions delivered from the POP server to use them for the proper control of the feed rate. The cutting force is regulated well during machining of tapered or stepped workpiece and circular shaped workpiece as well.

저전압 고성능 DSP를 이용한 AC 서보모터 제어 (AC Servo Motor Control Using Low Voltage High Performance DSP)

  • Recently with the development of power switching device and DSP which has peripheral devices to control AC servo system, the servo technology has met a new development opportunity. Those things make it possible to reduce the time of developing a AC servo system. Fixed point DSP such as TMS320F240x, and TMS320F28x series have a disadvantage in calculating floating number where TMS320C32 or TMS320C31 are floating point DSP. However they usually become a complex hardware system to implement the AC servo system and it increases the cost. In this study, a DSP based AC servo system with a 3-phase PMSM is proposed. The newly produced DSP TMX320F28l2-version C which has the performance of fast speed, 150MIPS, and a rich peripheral interface such as a 12bit high speed AD converter, QEP(Quadrature Encoder Pulse) circuit, PDPINT(Power Drive Protect Interrupt), SVPWM module and dead time module are used. This paper presents a method to overcome fixed point calculating using scaling all parameters. Also space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) using off-set voltage and a digital PI control are implemented to the servo system.

  • In this paper, the design and the implementation of the controller for an articulate robot, which is developed in our Automatic Control Laboratory, are mainly discussed. The controller reduces software computational load via distributed processing method using multiple CPU's, and simplifies structures by the time-division control with TMS320C31 DSP chip. The method of control is based on the fuzzy-compensated PID control with scale factor, which compensates for the influence of load variation resulting from the various postures of the robot with conventional PID scheme. The application of the proposed controller to the robot system with DC servo-motors shows some excellent control capabilities. Also, the response characteristics of system for the various trajectory commands verify the superiority of the controller.

  • In this study, the controller using TMS320LF2407 low voltage DSP for motor control is designed and realized. It has 40 MIPS calculating ability and its driving voltage is 3.3 V for low power. The peripheral elements, however usually use 5 V and they need voltage transfer interface. In this study, voltage transformation and reducing noise are studied and space vector PWM is adopted as a motor control scheme. According to these methods, the efforts for software programming and calculation processes are reduced. In addition, the hardware is also simplified by substituting the current control part with software programming. Through this study, the DSP based servo controller increases its ability for high performance multi-function on semiconductor transportation equipments..

  • The hearing aid chip described in this paper is an analog & digital mixed system. The design focuses on the$\mu$DSP core. This $\mu$DSP core includes internal time delays to two inputs from front and rear microphones. The paper consists of two parts; one is the composure and signal processing algorithm of digital hearing aids and the other is Verilog HDL codes for$\mu$DSP cores. All digital modules in the design were coded and synthesized by Verilog HDL codes which were verified by Mentor Graphics and Synopsis semiconductor chip design tools.

  • This paper presents a implementation of digital motion control system for induction motor vector drives using the 16bit DSP TMS320F240. The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for induction motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are speed and current sensing, sine look-up table and generated SVPWM by fully integrated control software. The developed system in a implementation are shown a good speed response characteristic results and high performance features. The system can be adapted variform motor drive system.
