센서 네트워크에서 RSSI 값과 위치 추정 기반의 에너지 효율적인 라우팅 프로토콜 (Energy-efficient routing protocol based on Localization Identification and RSSI value in sensor network)

  • 본 연구는 기존에 연구된 다양한 라우팅 기법들보다 노드의 이동에 따른 적응력 향상과 에너지 관리의 효율성을 향상하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 각각의 센서 노드들에 의해 수신되는 RSSI 값과 센서의 위치 정보를 라우팅에 활용하는 기법이다. 본 연구는 주변 1-홉(hop) 거리의 노드 정보를 저장하지 않는다. 그리고 근거리 다중홉 전송 기법에서 중계 노드 선택을 위한 정보 교환 과정에서 발생하는 에너지 비효율적인 트래픽 문제를 해결한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 라우팅 프로토콜 기법은 각각의 노드들이 수신하는 RSSI 값이 설정된 전송 범위에 해당하는 노드를 선택하고 그리고 선택된 노드의 위치 정보를 바탕으로 목적지 노드에 가장 가까운 노드를 중계 노드로 선정하는 기법이다. 따라서 목적지 노드까지 데이터 전달 홉 수를 줄이고, 에너지를 효율적으로 관리하여 노드의 에너지 고갈을 방지하기 위한 것이다.

Current situation and future trends for beef production in the United States of America - A review

  • USA beef production is characterized by a diversity of climates, environmental conditions, animal phenotypes, management systems, and a multiplicity of nutritional inputs. The USA beef herd consists of more than 80 breeds of cattle and crosses thereof, and the industry is divided into distinct, but ofttimes overlapping sectors, including seedstock production, cow-calf production, stocker/backgrounding, and feedlot. Exception for male dairy calves, production is predominantly pastoral-based, with young stock spending relatively brief portions of their life in feedlots. The beef industry is very technology driven, utilizing reproductive management strategies, genetic improvement technologies, exogenous growth promoting compounds, vaccines, antibiotics, and feed processing strategies, focusing on improvements in efficiency and cost of production. Young steers and heifers are grain-based diets fed for an average of 5 months, mostly in feedlots of 1,000 head capacity or more, and typically are slaughtered at 15 to 28 months of age to produce tender, well-marbled beef. Per capita beef consumption is nearly 26 kg annually, over half of which is consumed in the form of ground products. Beef exports, which are increasingly important, consist primarily of high value cuts and variety meats, depending on destination. In recent years, adverse climatic conditions (i.e., draught), a shrinking agricultural workforce, emergence of food-borne pathogens, concerns over development of antimicrobial resistance, animal welfare/well-being, environmental impact, consumer perceptions of healthfulness of beef, consumer perceptions of food animal production practices, and alternative uses of traditional feed grains have become increasingly important with respect to their impact on both beef production and demand for beef products. Similarly, changing consumer demographics and globalization of beef markets have dictated changes in the types of products demanded by consumers of USA beef, both domestically and abroad. The industry is highly adaptive, however, and responds quickly to evolving economic signals.

문화유산 관광에서 서비스품질(HISTOQAUL)과 체험 몰입·관광 만족·충성도 간의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Service Quality (HISTOQAUL) and Experience Flow, Tourism Satisfaction and Loyalty in Cultural Heritage Tourism)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present the success of cultural tourism service as visitor loyalty to service and to present the cultural attribute evaluation attribute (HISTOQUAL), experiential flow and tourism satisfaction as determinants effecting loyalty through literature review. Based on this, this study aims to suggest academic and practical implications for revitalizing cultural tourism services and enhancing competitiveness. Methods: This study collects data from visitors to cultural heritage tourist sites and analyzes them empirically. This study conducted a small preliminary sample survey to improve the reliability and validity of the measurement tool, and revised and supplemented the measurement tool on the basis of it. The data collected in this study were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and the hypothesis was verified through the analysis. Results: The results of this study are as follows; First, the service quality of cultural heritage tourism has a positive effect on the experience flow. Second, the service quality of cultural heritage tourism partially effects tourism satisfaction. Third, it was shown that the experience flow of tourists have a positive effect on tourism satisfaction. Fourth, the experience flow of tourists and tourism satisfaction have a positive effect on loyalty to tourist destination. Conclusion: According to this study, it is the meaning of this study that the cultural tourism service is understood as a attractive factor and based on this, the strategic direction for the activation of cultural tourism service is suggested.

다중 홉 무선 네트�p에서 지연을 고려한 멀티케스트 루팅 (Delay Guaranteed Bandwidth-Efficient Multicast Routing in Wireless Multi-hop Networks)

  • Static wireless multi-hop networks, such as wireless mesh networks and wireless sensor networks have proliferated in recent years because of they are easy to deploy and have low installation cost. Two key measures are used to evaluate the performance of a multicast tree algorithm or protocol : end-to-end delay and the number of transmissions. End-to-end delay is the most important measure in terms of QoS because it affects the total throughput in wireless networks. Delay is similar to the hop count or path length from the source to each destination and is directly related to packet success ratio. In wireless networks, each node uses the air medium to transmit data, and thus, bandwidth consumption is related to the number of transmission nodes. A network has many transmitting nodes, which will cause many collisions and queues because of congestion. In this paper, we optimize two metrics through a guaranteed delay scheme. We provide an integer linear programming formulation to minimize the number of transmissions with a guaranteed hop count and preprocessing to solve the aforementioned problem. We extend this scheme not only with the guaranteed minimum hop count, but also with one or more guaranteed delay bounds to compromise two key metrics. We also provide an explanation of the proposed heuristic algorithm and show its performance and results.

  • 비콘(Beacon)은 근거리에 있는 스마트 기기를 자동으로 인식하여 필요한 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 무선 통신장치이다. 4차 산업혁명 시대에 대표적인 사물인터넷(IoT) 설비로 근거리 정보 전달, 모바일 위치서비스, 쇼핑, 마케팅 등 다양한 분야에 활용되고 끊임없이 진화하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 관광위치 기반 추천 정보 제공 서비스를 바탕으로, 비콘 기술을 접목하여 사용자의 관심 또는, 선호도 등에 따라 맞춤형 정보를 추천하는 시스템을 제안한다. 즉, 관광객인 사용자가 원하는 정보를 알려 주는 정보 대행자의 역할을 한다. 관광객의 니즈를 충족시키기 위해서는 지능형 관광 추천 시스템 구축이 필요하다. 본 논문에서 제안한 비콘 기술을 활용한 개인 맞춤형 한식과 관광지 추천 관리 시스템은 한국을 찾는 외국인뿐 아니라 내국인 관광객들에게 양질의 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

Future of Organised Retailing in India - The Critical HR Issues

  • According to the Global Retail Development Index (GRDI) published by A.T. Kearney (2012), India is the $5^{th}$ most attractive retail destination in the world. The retail industry in India has been largely fragmented with small businesses dominating the retail landscape, with very few large players having multiple retail outlets. However, in the last few years, the industry has witnessed a significant growth in the number of large retailers having a chain of outlets across the country. This growth in the organised retail sector has driven primarily by large Indian retail organisations and conglomerates. With the government reducing the restrictions on foreign participation in Indian retail business by increasing the FDI cap on both single and multi-brand retail outlets, the industry is likely to see an explosive growth in the organised retail sector which accounts for only 8 percent of the total industry. With more foreign retailers poised to enter into the country, one of the key issues that the industry may face is finding the right quality of manpower. Literature suggests that in an industry which is characterised by players offering similar kinds of product assortments at similar price levels, success would be governed by the quality of service, which entails employees having the right skills and attitudes for offering quality service. Therefore, the two key issues that may be of importance for retailers are levels of skills and the motivation of the employees. However, according to the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC, 2009), a significant skill gap exists in the industry, which may widen further in the years ahead, leading to greater challenges for organisations. This paper highlights some of the challenges and issues which characterise the industry in India, and suggests how companies could look at these challenges and seek ways to overcome these challenges.

셀룰라 네트워크에서 위치 정보 관리 비용을 최소화하는 서버의 중복도 (Server Replication Degree Reducing Location Management Cost in Cellular Networks)

  • 셀룰라 기반의 이동컴퓨팅 환경에서 이동 호스트의 위치 및 상태관리를 위하여 디폴트 서버(default sever)기법이 널리 사용되나 이동 호스트로의 호 요청이 많은 경우나 호를 요청한 클라이언트가 디볼트서버와 멀리 떨어진 경우 통신 오버 헤드가 커지며, 디폴트서버에 결함이 발생할 경우 해당 이동 호스트에 대한 연결이 불가능해 진다. 디폴트 서버를 여러 개로 중복 시키면 위와 같은 문제점을 경감시키고 디폴트 서버와의 통신비용을 줄일 수 있다. 그러나 디폴트 서버를 중복 시킬 경우 전체 통신비용은 이동 호스트의 이동 성향과 질의(query) 요청의 빈도, 중복 디폴트 서버의 할당 위치와 중복 개수에 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 디폴트 서버를 통신 환경에 따라 최적의 위치에 할당 시켰을 때 nn grid네트워크 환경과 이진트리 네트워크 환경에서 각각의 최적 디폴트 서버 중복 개수를 구하는 방법을 제시하였고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 수학적 방법이 유용함을 보였다.

백두대간권 개발을 위한 여행지 선택속성 중요도와 만족도에 관한 연구 (Selection attributes importance and satisfaction for research on the development of the Baekdudaegan)

  • 백두대간을 방문하는 관광객이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구의 목적은 백두대간 지역을 방문하는 국민들의 만족도를 제고시키고 낙후지역으로 인식되고 있는 백두대간권 지역발전을 도모하기 위함이다. 연구를 위하여 전국의 만 19세 이상을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 여행지 선택속성 중요도와 만족도의 요인을 분석하고 군집분석을 실시하여 그룹을 구분하고 그룹별 재방문의도 및 추천의도의 유의적인 차이를 분석하였다. 선택속성 중요도와 만족도에 따라 그룹을 구분한 결과 각각 4개의 그룹으로 분류되었으며, 그룹에 따라 재방문의도 및 추천의도에서 통계적으로 유의적인 차이가 나타났다. 환경요소를 중요하게 고려할수록, 환경요소에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 재방문의도 및 추천의도가 높게 나타났다. 환경요소가 여행지를 선택함에 있어 중요한 요인이며, 이러한 선택속성의 만족도가 높을수록 향후 행동의도에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

크로스도킹 거점 결정을 위한 연구 -지역거점을 중심으로- (Study for determining cross docking point local bases approach)

  • The respective delivering vehicle loaded with the own cargo moves into the respective delivery area. At the base, the delivery points D1 and D2, for example, have the same starting point but the destination is different. The average delivering time of the delivery vehicle is mostly more than 8 hours a day. Therefore, the efficiency of delivery is generally low. In this study, the deliveries will be forwarded from a base station to a delivery point where cross docking will be applied to a single vehicle, and will be distributed from the cross docking point through cross docking. If the distribution is implemented, one vehicle will not have to be operated from the base to the cross docking point. In that case, logistics cost will be reasonably saved by the reduction of transportation cost and labor time. If one vehicle only runs from the base to the cross docking point, each vehicle will be operated in two shifts, and the vehicle operation can be efficiently implemented. This research model is based on the assumption that the 3 types of ratios between the traffic volume of the vehicles starting at the base and the vehicles waiting at the cross docking point are set to the first ratio of 30% to 70%, the second ratio of 50% to 50% and the final ratio of 70% to 30%. As a result of the study, The delivery time in the cross docking point is much higher than that in present on the condition that the cargo volume in the D2 area is more than 50%. Likewise, the delivery time is slightly higher on the condition that the cargo volume is less than 50%. Time is reduced in terms of 50% model like AS-IS model.

가족 관광객의 향토음식에 대한 지각된 위험, 관여도, 만족과 충성도에 관한 연구 (Study on Sense of Perceived Risk, Involvement, Satisfaction, and Loyalty of a Tourist Family for a Local Food Restaurant)

  • This study aimed to determine a tourist family's perceptions of dining at a holiday destination. A key assumption of this study was that dining at an unfamiliar locale at a tourist resort is engaging in risk-taking behavior by the tourist family. In this unfamiliar setting, participation in the local food market takes on a significant role in the tourist family's sense of satisfaction and loyalty. For the purpose of this study, involvement pertains to the family's perceived relevance of the objective of this study based on inherent needs, values, and interests. For this study, 151 subjects vacationing with his/her family on Jeju Island participated. To perform research on perceived risk and involvement in terms of the decision maker's capacity, only one member of each family responded to the survey, which examined the impact on sense of satisfaction of perceived risk and involvement in the local food scene. Perceived risks were divided according to financial, performance, physical, social-psychological, and time-risk factors. Perceived risk and involvement were found to be significant predictors of the overall satisfaction of the tourist family's local food consumption. Furthermore, performance risk was determined to be significantly linked to the tourist family's dining sense of satisfaction and loyalty. These findings provide some meaningful marketing implications for Jeju Island's tourism industry. Reducing the performance risk and increasing the local food involvement may activate rural tourism and local food consumption. Theoretical and practical contributions to local food marketing are discussed.
