Neural Network PID control method for robust disturbance (외란에 강인한 신경망 PID 제어방식)

  • In this paper, we propose a robust PID control method with neural network to minimize the influence of the disturbance to happen in the system. The proposed method, the neural network filters out the disturbance of control system. The plant input which a disturbance is included is compensated to the output of neural network and the plant is controlled only PID controller. Through the DC motor control simulation and MM-LDM position control experiment, we could confirm the proposed method is robust at the disturbance in control system.

  • This paper presents a design method of fuzzy controller based on TSK fuzzy model. By using the proposed method, we can design fuzzy controller mathematically, which guarantees the stability of fuzzy system. We derived a theorem related to the stability of fuzzy system. In that theorem, we show that the fuzzy system has the same stable state transition matrix as we desire. The validity of the proposed method is shown through an experiment of DC motor velocity control.

The optimal commutation angle for Maximum Torque, the pulse width of supply voltage for available torque and the advanced commutation according to motor speed and electrical time constant effect power factor, efficiency, and no load speed limit.

  • In this paper, we discuss about the real-time distributed system for the control of to motors using uCOS-II kernel. Real-time kernel needs to process the tasks for two motors in desired time to synchronize motion. We used both semaphore and message mail box for synchronization. In the previous study, we used step motors for the actuator of two axes robot, but could not draw a clear line because of motor resolution and synchronizing step pulse. To resolve the problem we rebuilt the transfer robot with DC motors and the dedicated position servor which had built in out lab. Moreover we developed the PC based graphic user interface for generating planar drawing image control. Experimental results also presented to show the proposed control system is useful.

  • This paper presents analysis of the radial force density in brushless DC motor of which distribution is not uniform in the axial direction. The analysis considering 3D shape of teeth and overhang is not only important but essential to calculate the radial force density that acts on the teeth of stator, because it is frequent source of vibration and changes at the end of teeth. For the analysis, a new 3D equivalent magnetic circuit network method taking into account movement of the rotor without remesh is proposed. The radial force density is calculated by Maxwell stress tensor and analyzed by discrete Fourier transform.

  • This paper presents an efficient 2D finite element analysis(FEA) for brushless DC motor (BLDCM) taking into account the eddy current and lamination effect of stator. In BLDCM, the dynamic characteristic analysis considering the eddy current and driving circuit is applied for the accurate prediction of motor performance in high speed because the eddy current loss is proportional of square of the driving frequency. According to the variation of lamination number, the characteristics of electro magnetic force, torque, and eddy current loss are analyzed. From the results, it is known that the effect of the lamination of stator on the eddy current loss is verified.

  • In this paper. we designed a high precision Linear DC Motor(LDM) Driver with $120^{\circ}$ commutation method. It was composed of three parts which were divided into Power and Inverter Circuit. Analog Circuit with PWM Generation and Fault Protections. and Logic Circuit. We selected PMAC Controller by Delta Tau Co. for testifying a high accuracy of a designed driver. A high precision driver enhanced a response to changes of velocity and acceleration in motion and improved the accuracy.

  • This paper proposes a design of self-tuning fuzzy controller based on evolutionary computation. Optimal membership functions are round by using evolutionary computation. Genetic algorithms and evolution strategy are used for tuning of fuzzy membership function. A arbitrarily speed trajectories is selected to show the performance of the proposed methods. Simulation results show the good performance in the DC motor control system with the self-tuning fuzzy controller based on evolutionary computation.

  • In this paper, we assume that the dynamics of DC motor and nonlinear load are unknown. We train the inverse dynamic model of DC motor and nonlinear load using the neural network and construct speed control system based on the traind dynamic model and current control mode. Speed prediction scheme using neural network is also proposed the alleviate the time delay effect caused by the computation time of neural network. Simulation results show good performances of the control system. Finally, hardware configuration of the control system is outlined.

  • A design and fabrication result of a ultra-small brushless DC motor is presented. The outer diameter of the motor is 3mm. This motor is designed to 3 phase coreless winding, and operated with synchronous type driver. The experimental results for back EMF value, static torque and speed characteristics are presented and discussed.
