선박용 SCR 시스템의 촉매반응기 내부 유동특성에 관한 수치해석 (A Numerical Analysis on the Flow Characteristics inner Catalytic Reactor for Marine SCR System)

  • The key issues for the reduction technologies of the exhaust gas from diesel engine being developed are to reduce particulate matters and NOx. Performance of NOx removal in SCR process depends on such various factors as catalyst factors(catalyst composition, shape, velocity, etc.), exhaust gas temperature and velocity distribution. In this study checked flow uniformity with the flow characteristics in the SCR reactor by using STAR CCM+. The pressure drop of experiment and simulation had similar result more than 90% at catalytic Cell. Also, flow uniformity calculated about 0.9036 ant 1st catalytic ind SCR reactor.

  • 6 년생(年生) 잣나무 조림지(造林地)에 있어서 임분(林分)의 대표치(代表値) 측정(測定)을 위한 적정(適定) 플롯의 크기를 조사분석(調査分析)하였는 바, 수고(樹高)에 대하여는 0.04ha 크기의 플롯이, 흉고직경(胸高直徑)에 대하여는 0.08ha 크기의 플롯이 적합하였다.

  • Nowadays, the increasing global competition forces manufacturing enterprises to apply new technologies such as laser welding to manufacturing of their products. In case of automotive industries, they interest in assembly system for BIW (Body in White) carrying out laser welding. In this paper, the method of implementation for digital laser welding assembly system is proposed. Based on the requirements of assembly tasks obtained through product analysis, process modeling is executed by using the IDEF0 and UML model. For digital assembly system, the selected components are modeled by using 3D CAD tools. According to the system configuration strategy, lots of the alternative solutions for the assembly system of welding side panels are generated. Finally, the optimal laser welding system is chosen by the evaluation of the alternative solutions with TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method.

  • The objective of this study is to find out the design data for gas burner with an axal and radial type nozzles. The design parameters are chosen as the stabilizer type, the jet hole size of gas nozzle, the distance between gas nozzle and stabilizer, the size of stabilizer and the hole size of stabilizer, the stabilizer type with or without air swirler, the angle of swirler. For the experimental test combustor sizing ${\phi}1.3m{\times}L4.5m$ is designed and manufactured, in which the set up of power diagram, the exhaust gas analysis, blow-off test, the flame temperature and the direct photography are performed.

  • The static implicit finite element method is applied effectively to analyze back inner panel stamping processes, which include the forming stage Analysis results examining possibility and validity of the formulation and the factor of study are presented. Further, the simulated results for f/apron panel stamping processes are shown and discussed. Its application is being increased especially in the automotive industrial area for the cost reduction, weight saving, and improvement of strength.

지표화 산불피해지의 수종별 임목 고사율 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of Mortality in Species of Trees after Surface Forest Fire)

  • 본 연구는 지표화 산불피해지에서 우리나라에 가장 많이 분포하는 소나무, 잣나무, 낙엽송, 리기다소나무, 해송, 삼나무, 참나무류 등 7개 수종의 임목고사율을 조사 분석하였다. 조사결과 임목고사율은 삼나무>잣나무>소나무>해송>낙엽송>리기다소나무>참나무류 순이었다. 또한, 수간피해율이 높을수록 고사율이 높게 나타났고, 흉고직경이 클수록 고사율은 낮은 경향이었다. 특히 참나무류의 경우 수간 및 수관피해율이 30%이하에서는 거의 생존하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The critical current of the HTS(High Temperature Superconductor) tape is governed by cooling temperature, magnetic field and its angle to HTS tape originated from its geometrical structure. At the HTS coil design stage, the critical current of the coil is calculated by considering the Ic-B characteristics of the 2G tape and the operating current is determined based on the critical current. The operating current and the structure of the 5 T coil are suggested through the FEM (Finite Elements Method) analysis and calculation. As a part of our on-going research on a 20 T LTS/HTS magnet, we have designed and constructed a 5 T HTS insert coil and tested it in liquid helium temperature.

  • Cogging torque is produced in a permanent magnet machine by the magnetic attraction between the rotor-mounted permanent magnets and the stator. It is an undesired effect that contributes to the machines' output ripple, vibration, and noise. This paper presents the stator design for reducing cogging torque in the BLDC motor by using the DOE(Design of Experiments). The cogging torque is computed by using a two-dimensional finite element analysis.

  • As the speed of rotating machines increases and also their weight decreases, the coupling between lateral and torsional vibrations must be considered. In the past, rotordynamics and geardynamics have tended to treat the lateral and torsional vibrations of the system elements as separate and decoupled mechanisms. In the paper, the coupled lateral-torsional free and forced vibration of rotors trained by gears is analyzed using finite element method. Also the complicated variation of the meshing stiffness as a function of contact point along the line of action is estimated correctly. The gear mesh model is assumed to be linear with constant average mesh stiffness.

  • Acoustic emission (AE) technique is a well-known non-destructive test technique. Fatigue crack growth test was performed using SM53C to check up the AE signal occurred by crack growth, so AE system was used to detect the crack signal. Features calculated by the AE signals were analyzed to evaluate the steps divided the crack growth into three. The steps, initiation, growth and breaking, were separated by velocity of the crack growth. Time waveform and power spectrum were created by the AE signal of each one of the steps and compared. In the feature domains, it was found that AE values changed rapidly as the velocity of the crack increasing.
