Topography Analysis in High Speed Working by Flat Endmill (엔드밀에 의한 고속가공시 표면형상 해석)

  • High speed machining system have been used in industrial because it is effective to a material manufacturing with various shape. Recently the end-milling processing is needed the high-precise technique with good surface roughness and rapid time in aircraft, automobile part and molding industry. Therefore this study proposed to decide best manufacturing cutting condition for surface roughness and rapid manufacturing tune by using computer Image processing system and 3D modelling. Until the 16,000 rpm, the surface roughness is decreased rapidly, but it is not over that. The 22,000 rpm is the spindle speed with the optimum surface in the high speed end-milling. In the case of the feed rate with 2,000 mm/mm and 8,000 mm/mm, the surface roughness is better than 4,000 mm/min and 6,000 mm/min. By using the 3D modelling, it is effectively represented shape characteristics of working surface m high speed end-milling.

  • The influence of the tip clearance upon the cavitation inception were investigated by experiments for ducted rotors having different tip clearances The axial and tangential mean velocities around the ducted rotors were measured using an L.D.V. system to investigate the correlation between tip vertex cavitation inception and hub vortex cavitation. Observation results for tip vortex cavitation and hub vortex cavitation show good agreement in trend with the analysis results of velocity measurement. An optimum tip clearance for ducted rotor was selected to delay the tip vortex cavitation.

  • 선형전동기(linear motor)는 일반 회전형 모터에 비해 직선 구동력을 직접 발생시키는 특유의 장점이 있으므로 직선 구동력이 필요한 시스템에서 회전형에 비해 절대적으로 우세하다. 선형전동기의 성능인 추력을 스테이터, 코어, 영구자석 등의 구성요소의 형상과 치수, 코어와 영구자석의 극간격, 공극, 코일의 권수에 따라서 결정된다. 본 논문에서 제안한 2kW급 단상 구동형 횡자속 선형전동기는 압축기 제작에 필요한 직경 50mm, 구동 스트로크 18mm로 설계하였다. 또한 pole pitch가 20mm로 설계하였으며 요구되는 평균추력은 940N이다. 제작된 압축기의 특징은 고정자와 이동자가 맞닿는 flux path를 넓히기 위해서 최대한 경사진 각도의 형상으로 제작하였으며 경사의 각도가 커지면 커질수록 압축기로 구동하는 이동자와 고정된 부위사이에서 발생하는 흡인력이 상쇄되는 구조이기 때문에 진동의 원인으로 가장 크게 작용한다는 디텐트력이 작다는 것이 특징이며, 진동특성 등에 유리한 것으로 판단된다.

  • On this study, we optimized maximizing thrust force of weight ratio and minimizing detent force of weight ratio at the TFLM(Transverse Flux Linear Motor) using design of experiments by the table of orthogonal array, characteristic function and analysis of means(ANOM), For two functions or more, the effectiveness of design change can be evaluated in accordance with change in design parameters. Also, The stator and mover weight of TFLM is reduced by up to 20 percent while its thrust force of weight ratio and detent force of weight improved. From now on, we are going to apply the required technique to design various uses and shares of the TFLM.

  • In this paper an intelligent power transformer protective relaying algorithm based on Fuzzy Decision-Making is presented. The introduced protection algorithm contains several internal fuzzy rule-bases including bpa(Basic Probability Assignment: m) which are subject to off-line pre-installation by the analysis of the transformer transient characteristics for detecting the internal fault. Dempster-Shafer's rule of combination is used for the inference method with rules to decide the situation of a transformer, The proposed algorithm immunes to the saturation of transformer, inrush conditions, over excitation, and external fault. The included results of testing show practically sufficient sensitivity and selectivity of the proposed algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 생체자기신호의 잡음제거 기법 중 PCA(Principal Component Analysis) 알고리즘을 사용하여 효과적으로 노이즈를 제거하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 61 채널 SQUID 시스템을 이용하여 심자도 신호를 측정하였고, 40 채널 SQUID 시스템을 이용하여 뇌자도 신호를 측정하였다. 그리고, 측정한 신호 성분들을 제안한 방법을 이용하여 주성분들을 분리하였고, 이들 중에서 노이즈 성분을 추정하여 측정한 신호에서 제거하였다. 이러한 방법을 이용한 결과, 심자도 신호에 존재하는 펄스 노이즈로 인하여 왜곡된 생체 자기 신호의 노이즈를 감소 시킬 수 있었으며, 뇌자도 신호에 존재하는 외부 노이즈 성분을 제거하여 임상 진단에 유용한 데이터를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • An important class of problems in the field of geotechnical engineering may be analyzed with the aid of a simple integro-differential equation. Behavior of "rigid" piles(say concrete piles), "deformable" piles(say gravel piles), pile groups, pile-raft foundations, heavily reinforced earth, flow within circular silos and down drag on cylindrical structures (for example the crusher unit of a mineral processing complex) are the type of situations that can be handled by this type of equation. The equation under consideration has the form; $$\frac{{\partial}w(r,\;z)}{{\partial}z}+f(z){\int}^z_0g({\xi})(\frac{{\partial}^2w(r,\;{\xi})}{{\partial}r^2}+\frac{1}{r}\frac{{\partial}w(r,\;{\xi})}{{\partial}r})d{\xi}+h(r,\;z)=0$$ where w(r, z) is the vertical displacement of a soil particle expressed as a function of the polar cylindrical space coordinates (r, z) and the symbols f, g and h represent soil properties and the loading conditions. The merit of the analysis is its simplicity (both in concept and in application) and the ease with which it can be expressed in a computer code. In the present paper the analysis is applied to investigate the behavior of a single rigid pile to bedrock. The emphasis, however, is placed on developing the equation, the numerical techique used in its evaluation and validation of the technique, hereafter called the ID technique, against a formal program, CRISP, which uses the FEM.

  • In generally, compared with VHF band, electromagnetic waves of UHF band have a low influence for external noise. We can detect the real abnormality with several pC in GIS using UHF method. Recently, it has applied to use the external UHF sensor attached on spacer to GIS of existing substation. In this paper, we firstly described the technique of the partial discharge measurement using frequency analysis and phase analysis in UHF band. Secondly, we presented the results of sensitivity, the relationship of dBm-pC and diagnosis of the reason of PD source by phase analysis. And then, we report the diagnosis result of partial discharge on 800kV GIS in domestic substation. rge diagnosis of GIS.

  • In ultra-precision machining, the inside temperature should be controlled precisely. The important factors are environmental conditions (outside temperature, humidity) and temperature conditions (cutting heat, spindle heat). Thus, in this study, an environmental control cell for the ultra-precision machine that could control the inside temperature and minimize effects of the surrounding environment to achieve a thermal deformation of less than 400nm of a specimen was designed and verified through C.F.D. Further, a method that could control the temperature precisely by using a blower, heat exchanger and heater was evaluated. As a result, this study established a C.F.D technic for the environmental control cell, and the specimen temperature was controlled to be within $17.465{\pm}0.055^{\circ}C$.
