상대밀도의 변화에 따른 새만금준설토의 액상화 특성 (Liquifaction Characteristics of Saemangeum Dredged Sand Depending on Relative Density)

  • 느슨한 준설 매립층은 아주 작은 지진동으로 인해 액상화가 발생하는 경우가 있다. 새만금 준설토의 액상화 거동특성을 반복삼축압축시험에 의해 조사하였고, 타 문헌에서의 다른 모래의 액상화 특성과 비교하였다. 조사를 위해 상대밀도의 변화에 따른 일련의 비배수 반복삼축압축시험이 압밀구속압을 달리하여 수행되었다. 연구결과 반복응력은 압밀구속압에 따라 선형적으로 증가하나, 반복응력을 압밀구속압으로 무차원화한 반복응력비는 일정한 값을 보인다. 또한, 상대밀도의 증가에 따라 반복응력비는 선형적으로 증가하나, 문헌조사에 의한 다른 모래에 비해 액상화에 취약한 특성을 보인다.

Cyclic Voltammetry를 이용한 CuInSe2 박막의 전기화학적 전착 연구 (Cyclic Voltammetry Study on Electrodeposition of CuInSe2 Thin Films)

  • Chalcopyrite $CuInSe_2$(CIS) is considered to be an effective light-absorbing material for thin film photovoltaic solar cells. CIS thin films have been electrodeposited onto Mo coated and ITO glass substrates in potentiostatic mode at room temperature. The deposition mechanism of CIS thin films has been studied using the cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique. A cyclic voltammetric study was performed in unitary Cu, In, and Se systems, binary Cu-Se and In-Se systems, and a ternary Cu-In-Se system. The reduction peaks of the ITO substrate were examined in separate $Cu^{2+}$, $In^{3+}$, and $Se^{4+}$ solutions. Electrodeposition experiments were conducted with varying deposition potentials and electrolyte bath conditions. The morphological and compositional properties of the CIS thin films were examined by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The surface morphology of as-deposited CIS films exhibits spherical and large-sized clusters. The deposition potential has a significant effect on the film morphology and/or grain size, such that the structure tended to grow according to the increase of the deposition potential. A CIS layer deposited at -0.6 V nearly approached the stoichiometric ratio of $CuIn_{0.8}Se_{1.8}$. The growth potential plays an important role in controlling the stoichiometry of CIS films.

이온성 액체를 이용한 CO2와 glycidyl methacrylate의 고리화 첨가 및 고분자 가교 반응 (Cycloaddition and Crosslinking Reactions of CO2 and Glycidyl Methacrylate using Ionic Liquid)

  • 온실가스인 $CO_2$를 저감하기 위한 기술로 본 연구에서는 이온성 액체를 이용하여 epoxide계 화합물인 glycidyl methacrylate (GMA)와 $CO_2$의 고리화 첨가 반응(cycloaddition)을 통해 cyclic carbonate를 합성하였다. 합성된 cyclic carbonate인 [2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]methacrylate (DOMA)는 FT-IR과 $^1H$ NMR을 이용하여 그 구조를 확인하였다. 또한 $^1H$ NMR을 통하여 계산된 조성비를 이용하여 전환율과 시간의 관계를 관찰하였다. DOMA로 전환이 모두 이루어진 이후에는 DOMA의 이중결합이 잔존하는 이온성 액체로 음이온 중합, cyclic carbonate ring의 가교반응에 의한 고분자가 형성되었다.

  • The analytical studies for the test results are presented. From experimental envelope curve, hysteretic behaviors under cyclic loading are modelled for beam-column subassemblages. Modelled curves show relatively good reproduction or experimental curves. finally, seismic performances are investigated for 7 story plain framed structure by nonlinear dynamic analysis. The resulting responses are different by each beam-column joint design.

Study of Earthquake Resilient RC Shear Wall Structures

  • A new type of earthquake resilient reinforced concrete (RC) shear wall structure, installed with replaceable coupling beams and replaceable corner components at the bottom of wall piers, is proposed in this study. At first, the mechanical behavior of replaceable components, such as combined dampers and replaceable corner component, is studied by cyclic loading tests on them. Then, cycling loading tests are conducted on one conventional coupled shear wall and one new type of coupled shear wall with replaceable components. The test results indicate that the damage of the new type of coupled shear wall concentrates on replaceable components and the left parts are well protected. Finally, a case study is introduced. The responses of one conventional frame-tube structure and one new type of structure installed with replaceable components under the wind and the earthquake are compared, which verify that the performance of new type of structure is much better than the conventional structure.

모래-세립분 혼합토에 대한 반복전단강도특성 평가 (Evaluation of Cyclic Shear Strength Characteristics of Sands Containing Fines)

  • 토질분류법에서 흙은 크게 사질토와 점성토로 분류되며, 실제 설계에서도 이와 같이 분류된 흙 종류에 따라 다른 예측식을 사용하여 흙의 거동을 평가하고 있다. 그러나, 모래-세립분 혼합토는 전형적으로 중간토(intermediate soil or transitional soil)로 구분되어 모래와 점토의 중간적인 성질을 나타내기 때문에, 이러한 혼합토에 대한 거동특성을 평가할 수 있는 기준이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 입도분포를 조정한 특정 모래에 세 가지 종류의 세립분으로 구성된 다양한 세립분함유율을 갖는 시료를 대상으로 일련의 반복 삼축압축시험을 수행하였다. 모래가 골격을 이루는 간극비(골격간극비)를 고려하여, Silica sand와 세립분(Iwakuni natural clay, Tottori silt, kaolinite)을 다양한 건조 중량비로 혼합하여 그 특성을 파악하였으며, 실험결과로 전환 세립분함유율(threshold fines content)을 넘지 않는 혼합토의 반복전단강도를 세립분 함유율 증가에 따라 평가하였다. 그 결과, 반복 전단응력비는 세립분 함유율 증가에 따라 조밀한 시료에서는 감소, 느슨한 시료에서는 증가하는 결과를 나타냈으며, 혼합토의 반복전단응력비를 등가골격간극비의 개념을 이용하여 평가했다.

  • The microstructure of Watts and bright ni-ckel electrodepositss is correlated with pref-erred orientation. The characteristics lamellar structure of bright nickel was atributed to the periodic adsorption of organic additives and related to cyclic fluctuations in temper-ature.

Cyclic Properties of Li[Co0.17Li0.28Mn0.55]O2 Cathode Material

  • A Li$[Co_{0.17}Li_{0.28}Mn_{0.55}]O_2$ cathode compound was prepared by a simple combustion method. The X-ray diffraction pattern showed that this compound could be classified as ${\alpha} -NaFeO_2$ structure type with the lattice constants of a = 2.8405(9) ${\AA}$ and c = 14.228(4) ${\AA}$. According to XANES analysis, the oxidation state of Mn and Co ions in the compound were 4+ and 3+, respectively. During the first charge process, the irreversible voltage plateau at around 4.65 V was observed. The similar voltage-plateau was observed in the initial charge profile of other solid solution series between $Li_2MnO_3\;and\;LiMnO_2$ (M=Ni, Cr...). The first discharge capacity was 187 mAh/g and the second discharge capacity increased to 204 mAh/g. As the increase of cycling number, one smooth discharge profile was converted to two distinct sub-plateaus and the discharge capacity was slowly decreased. From the Co and Mn K-edge XANES spectra measured at different cyclic process, it can be concluded that irreversible transformation of phase is occurred during continuous cycling process.
