  • This research will mainly focus on security issues in a university campus and delve into the risk factors and its characteristics due to the extreme polarization growth, and ultimately conduct research on legislative issues regarding safety & security management. A university campus is a miniature of the society, concentrated with human resources, material resources and knowledge information resources. It is also a region in which various underlying risk factors threaten these resources. However, due to the insensibility of danger and carefree indolence, these risk factors have been ignoring, leaving university campus amidst a "dead zone." Currently, a systematic and synthetic measures not only for safety inside the laboratory but also for the new type of crimes such as cyber crimes and motiveless crime due to extreme polarization, stress, uneasiness about the future, increase of mental illnesses, and drug abuse are urgently required. Therefore, I would like to introduce a legislative program in a crisis management perspective that can prevent universities from danger and protect the resources which would ultimately create a new security system.

  • The financial crime that used morale anger Phishing, Pharming, Vishing, SMiSing etc. will gain during recent cyber crimes. We are study systematically whether or not leakage of information and infringement can how easily occur to Phishing, Vishing, SMiSing using a social engineering technique and VoIP at these papers through experiment. A hacker makes Phishing, Vishing site, and test an information infringement process of a user through PiSing mail and a virus, a nasty code, Vishing, a SMiSing character, disarmament of Keylogger prevention S/W etc. as establish server. Information by Phishing, Vishing, SMiSing is infringed with leakage in the experiment results, and confirm, and test certified certificate and White List and a certified authentication mark, plug-in program installation etc. to prevention, and security becomes, and demonstrate. Technical experiment and prevention regarding Phishing of this paper and Vishing attack reduce the damage of information infringement, and be education for Ubiquitous information security will contribute in technical development.

  • Smart grid is a modernized electrical grid that uses information and communication technologies to gather and act on information, such as information about the behaviors of suppliers and consumers, in an automated fashion to improve the efficiency, reliability, economics, and sustainability of the production and distribution of electricity. However, with the advent of cyber crime, there are also concerns on the security of the infrastructure, primarily that involving communications technologies. In this work, we make an in-depth investigation on the issue of security services and network loads on Smart grid. Through simulation, we analyze the relations between security services and network loads. The experimental results of this study will contribute toward designing an advanced Smart grid system that offers better quality of services. Also, the approach proposed in this study can be utilized to derive new and valuable insights in security aspects.

  • Today, as a daily routine such as administration/finance is operated under information system and various cyber crime against national, public, and private institutions happen, demand for information security manpower is increasing. Hence, Ministry of Education has formed an Institute of Information Security Education for the Gifted to early discover talent in the field of information security and train professional personnel with specialty and ethics in 4 universities of country in 2014. But the nascent Institute of Information Security Education for the Gifted lack systematic analyses compared to Institute of Mathematics and Science Education for the Gifted that has existed from a long time ago. In this paper, we analyze the state of the Institute of Information Security Education for the Gifted in three parts: operation, selection, education and suggest an improvement to build a practical program for effective operations and education.

  • Various network attacks such as DDoS(Distributed Denial of service) and orm are one of the biggest problems in the modern society. These attacks reduce the quality of internet service and caused the cyber crime. To solve the above problem, signature based IDS(Intrusion Detection System) has been developed by network vendors. It has a high detection rate by using database of previous attack signatures or known malicious traffic pattern. However, signature based IDS have the fatal weakness that the new types of attacks can not be detected. The reason is signature depend on previous attack signatures. In this paper, we propose a k-means clustering based malicious traffic detection method to complement the problem of signature IDS. In order to demonstrate efficiency of the proposed method, we apply the bayesian theorem.

  • There is a tremendous increase in the growth of Internet making people's life easy. The rapid growth in technology has caused misuse of the Internet like cyber Crime. There are several vulnerabilities in current firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) of the Network Computing resources. Automatic real time station chase techniques can track the internet invader and reduce the probability of hacking Due to the recent trends the station chase technique has become inevitable. In this paper, we design and implement Active Security system using ICMP Traceback message. In this design no need to modify the router structure and we can deploy this technique in larger network. Our Implementation shows that ICMP Traceback system is safe to deploy and protect data in Internet from hackers and others.

  • While hackers in early days intended to disable and devastate the system, these days people hack and attack the network in order to steal customer's private information from the big corporate, which changes the nature of the crime to cyber attack for money, eventually causing a lot of damages. One of the most efficient ways to protect this kind of network attack is VPN, referring to Virtual Private Network. VPN is a private networking technology that makes the public network available for only those who are concerned. This paper will suggest the VPN technology that can be applied to Linux server and related protocols and figure the applicable VPN out.

  • A file system is an evidence resource of cyber crime in computer forensics. Therefore the methods of recovering the file system and searching important information have been offered. However, the methods for finding a malicious fie in free blocks or slack spaces have not been suggested. In this paper, we propose an investigation method to find a maliciously executable fragmented file. After estimating if a file is executable with a machine code rate, we conclude it could be malicious by comparing a similarity of instruction sequences. To examine instruction sequences, we also propose a method of profiling malicious files using file and a method of comparing the continued scores. As the results, we could exactly pick out the malicious execution files, such as buffer overflow attack program, at fitting threshold level.

  • This study tests a model for the effect of low self-control on cyber crime and its mediating process. Intervening variables include smartphone addiction, social learning and opportunity variables. Analyzing a data from college students in Seoul, it is shown that the effect of low self-control has a significant effect on smartphone addiction. Results also show that smartphone addiction has a positive significant effect on differential association with illegal peers, illegal definition, and illegal opportunity, and in turn cybercrime. In addition, it is found that low self-control has also a direct effect on differential association with illegal peers, illegal definitions, and illegal opportunity without mediating by smartphone addiction. As a result, it is reveal that the effect of low self-control on cybercrime is indirect and its effect is mediated by smartphone addiction, differential association with illegal peers, illegal definitions, and illegal opportunity.

  • Domestic violence in our society is where the abuser and the abuser live in the same space. Problems are left unresolved in families where abuse is reproducing. Domestic violence can be viewed as a crime that violates and tramples human rights. They rely solely on family support networks for solutions to domestic violence. The physical, emotional, and psychological pain and wounds that victims of domestic violence must endure are too deep. In order to help victims of domestic violence, case management services that can provide long-term and attentive help in the neighborhood or community are needed. For this, prevention and treatment of domestic violence should be considered together. And the interest and professional role of the community must follow.
