On the crisis of international economy, the government is making an effort to seek economic growing motivation with the method of overcoming economic crisis and 'low carbon green growth'. Furthermore, to promote maritime vessel traffic service related inefficient energy wastage was revealed and eco-friendly alternative energy was accepted because of high price of oil in the beginning of 2008. In this situation, I'm going to discuss the possibility of eco-friendly energy system in maritime vessel traffic service with the way of cutting the budget and expansion of solar power generation system which was promoted to meet governmental 'energy saving plan for high price of oil'.

Virtual reality technology is recognized as a next-generation technology and can create realistic environments like the real world and reproduce sensory experiences. And it is a cutting-edge technology that allows humans to experience the same real-world experience in a virtual world by computing the five senses with computers. Also Virtual reality is a technology that has the advantage of experiencing reality in cyberspace and is applied to content such as movies and games. However, many users who use virtual reality can feel cybersickness. And it especially in virtual reality games. This is an important issue for the virtual reality game industry to be resolved. Main symptoms of cyberscickness include dizziness, headache, and vomiting. Existing motion sickness and symptoms are similar, but the cause of cybersickness is different from traditional sickness. Therefore, this study uses virtual reality games and data from various organizations to determine the causes of cybersickness. Also, it intends to contribute to the development of the virtual reality game industry by presenting methods to supplement these problems.

The temporary tax deduction on investment cutting the corporate income tax within 10% of the amount of investment is aimed at stimulating the investment for economic activity. 25 business sectors are applied to this tax law and in tourism, the accommodation registered by tour promotion law and international convention plan business belong to it. I'd like to mention the problem of the temporary tax deduction on investment amount for hotels and suggest better solutions. This tax law is so temporary applied that we shouldn't get tax deduction after June 30, 2002. So, we can't get income tax deduction on the investment out of the available period. And further more this tax law has a rule not real investment but solely new project investment for hotels. There are numbers of difference between real investment and new project investment. The amount of investment is based on an object of acquisition taxation. And also there are numbers of difference between real investment and an object of acquisition taxation. For example, landscape construction is a great part of hotel construction but it's not an object of acquisition taxation. For running hotel business, we also need lots of equipments such as linens utensils for restaurant and decorations for hotel interior. But these are also excluded from this tax law. As you know, these equipments can be regarded as product equipments in manufacture industry. Therefore we should take the specificity of hotel investment into consideration and expand the role of the temporary income tax deduction on investment amount for hotels.

The mid-schedule planning of the ship is making a schedule about the process from cutting to erection. The ship consists of lots of blocks. This block has different process because of the shape of the block varies in accordance with the ship-type and the part position of the ship. The type and order of each block process initially must be generated for the mid-schedule planning. In this paper, the process planning, described as above is preparing the basic information before scheduler make a plan with the prepared manhour. The scheduling is done with this process planning which includes the information of the process order. This paper shows the research about three methods to design the process planning. First, investigate the expression method about information of the process planning for the mid-schedule planning in real workplace. Second, design the object of the process planning on the basis of investigating the expression method. Finally, develop the prototype of object on the basis of this designed process planning and then find the practical use in the mid-schedule planning. The object, which is developed in this paper, contains the main algorithm. In case of developing The Mid-Schedule Planning System, this object is expected to be utilized very easily as consisting another object.

Traditional architectural space, which is a historical cultural heritage must be connected mutually as a organic flow of various elements such as the environment of the time, political background and values, rather than approaching with fragmentary point of view. The Silhak Philosophy, the basis of late Chosun society developed equity thoughts on the basis of ideology of humanism, and it asserted the promotion of technology and industry as a measure to realize the pursuit of truth which is practically useful. Thus, we could verify the possibility of convergent interpretation of cultural technology of Hwaseong architectural space through the humanistic viewpoint of pioneer spirit of Silhak Philosophy which regards human as a main agent of desire of life, and the pursuit of truth which is useful for reality, and the realization of ethical value by aesthetic practicalism. Based on this, the ontological meaning and value of Suwon Hwaseong by the viewpoint of convergence of culture and technology have been drawn as the construction of planned new town by the practice of filial duty, the plan of city space based on rational values, the realization of a metropolis where self-sufficient economic activities are possible, the introduction of thorough construction management system, the introduction of advanced culture and its creative application, and the application of scientifical knowledges and cutting-edge technology.

As a result of milling operation, we expect to have burr at the outward edge of workpiece. Also, it causes undesirable problems such as deburring cost, low quality of machined surface, and bottleneck in manufacturing process. Though it is impossible to totally remove burr in machining, it is necessary to plan a machining process that minimizes the occurrence of burr. In this paper, a scheme is proposed which identifies the tool path of the milling operation with minimum burr. In the previous research, a Burr Expert System was developed where the feature identification, the cutting condition identification, and the analysis on exit burr formation are the key steps in the program. The Burr Expert System predicts which portion of workpiece would have the exit burr in advance so that we can calculate the burr length of each milling operation. Here, the critical angle determines whether the burr analyzed is an exit burr or not. So the burr minimization scheme becomes to minimize the burr with critical angle. By iterating all the possible tool paths in certain milling operation, we can identify the tool path with minimum burr.

Purpose: In Korea, the proportion of female workers among occupational injury is steadily increasing. The purpose of this study was to identify the workplace risk factors that threaten the safety and health of the female workers. Methods: Qualitative study was conducted, using focus group interview. Data were collected from five focus groups of eighteen female workers who were working in the manufacturing, health service, and educational service industries. Results: The seven themes of occupational safety and health risks of women workers are as follows: 1) Workplace with various risks; 2) Sliding, falling, burning, and cutting accidents; 3) Chronically lasting musculoskeletal symptoms; 4) Chemicals that may be harmful to workers; 5) Unprotected infectious disease; 6) Psychological safety accidents(Relationship conflict and emotional labor); 7) Loud, hot, stuffy, scary, and tired. Conclusion: The Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Act should be rearranged gender sensitively and women's participation in the OSH decision-making process should be guaranteed. OSH education should be properly implemented in the field, and support should be provided for women workers in small businesses. A supportive organizational culture for marriage, pregnancy and childbirth should be established, and the working environment should be provided safely, taking into account gender differences.

Background: The present study introduces the design and fabrication of a simple surgical guide with which to perform genioplasty. Methods: A three-dimensional reconstruction of the patient's cranio-maxilla region was built, with a dentofacial skeletal model, then derived from CT DICOM data. A surgical simulation was performed on the maxilla and mandible, using three-dimensional cephalometry. We then simulated a full genioplasty, in silico, using the three-dimensional (3D) model of the mandible, according to the final surgical treatment plan. The simulation allowed us to design a surgical guide for genioplasty, which was then computer-rendered and 3D-printed. The manufactured surgical device was ultimately used in an actual genioplasty to guide the osteotomy and to move the cut bone segment to the intended location. Results: We successfully performed the osteotomy, as planned during a genioplasty, using the computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) surgical guide that we initially designed and tested using simulated surgery. Conclusions: The surgical guide that we developed proved to be a simple and practical tool with which to assist the surgeon in accurately cutting and removing bone segments, during a genioplasty surgery, as preoperatively planned during 3D surgical simulations.

As cities become recently more crowded, various and enlarged, it is required a cutting-edge technology for fire industry. According to this, a transition is attempted from production intensive industry toward knowledge based industry. At this point, in order to develop fire industry into knowledge based high value industry, industry innovation capability is required and it heavily depends on human resource competitiveness. Accordingly, in this study is aimed to look the status of domestic fire industry personnel training by classifying the fire industry manpower by field skill personnel, high technology personnel, and professional research personnel and to suggest problems with personnel training followed by each classification and how to improve them.

As China, the world's work shop was transformed into consumption market intermediary products and expensive consumer goods are more in highly demand recently. These will tend to diffuse especially to the west coastal cities of China. The economic growth of China needs to develop hub port facilities more and more in these days. We don't need to explain value of hub port in international trade. Furthermore If we are to retain access convenience of merchant vessel we really must maintain hub ports in Korea. This paper aims to vitalize Pyeongtaek port in times of the Pan Yellow Sea in readiness for an increase of trade between Korean, China, and Japan absorbing economic effects. The Rise of China leads to increase of trade of Korea that make necessary to develop a big and wide port to Pan Yellow Sea times. There is a lot of competition to be a hub port to become a center of international trade in the Pan Yellow Sea market. We need to improve the surrounding environment or facilities and industry clusters flexibly of Pyeongtaek port. It will guide to cost cutting and to raise business efficiency. Ultimately Pyeongtaek port should maintain and make advance its competitiveness especially in the Pan Yellow Sea times.
