  • Source : sources used by Qianghuo is Ostericum koreanum Maximowicz, Notopterygium incisum Ting and Notopterygium forbesii Boissier etc. in Korea and China. And we cirulate a Qianghuo dividing Nanqianghuo and Beiqianghuo. Thought source of Korea Qianghuo is different from china's we use a same name. And source of Beiqianghuo has not made clear yet. According to research accomplished 2002, we have to use Nanqianghuo producted at Jinbu in aspect of aspect. but, Beiqianghuo the outside form of Beiqianghuo similar to china so we think that we have to more make clear source of domestic Qianghuo, verify a source Beiqianghuo and re-establish about effects and functions of domestic Qianghuos. Culture : A term of culture is an nearly one year. so to product Qianghuo of good quality, we must plant directly in autumn or raise seedlings and transplant in spring. Processing : To protect turning to brown, Qianghuo are cirulate mostly as the original form without washing in water, To proteet crushing of Qianghuo when we cut off, Qianghuo were cut off after being soaked in water or steamed by heat. So when we wash and cut off, it has to be made processes which have no decreases of medical effects and be suggested a proper index which verify a medical effects. In summury, after harvesting Qianghuo the first washing $\rightarrow$ the first dry $\rightarrow$ selection $\rightarrow$ the second washing $\rightarrow$ the second dry $\rightarrow$ selection $\rightarrow$ cutting off $\rightarrow$ the third dry.

  • This study investigated the packaging status and sensory quality of fresh-cut mushroom products from retail markets. Fifty one fresh-cut mushroom products were surveyed / purchased from discount stores in four cities in January (winter), March (spring), August (summer), and October (autumn) 2009. Collected fresh-cut mushrooms include single variety products like whole oyster mushroom and winter mushroom, diced or sliced oak mushroom, sliced king oyster mushroom, and ready-to-cook mixed mushroom products. Most fresh-cut mushrooms were packed in trays made of aluminum, polystyrene (PS), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), nylon materials covered with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) wrap or solid PP (polypropylene) and PS. Eighty nine percent of the covers were labeled with manufacture and expiration date. Collected samples showed severe browning (10%) and off-flavor (4%). The percentage of products with a rating of 'good' or better in overall quality was 90%. Moreover, Survey showed seasonal differences in sensory qualities. All of the collected fresh-cut mushrooms in autumn and winter had high marketability. However, Mushroom products collected in spring and summer had lower quality, hence requires treatment to prevent browning and off-flavor.

  • In this study a coating experiment was performed to fabricate blue light cut films, which represent a 390~430 nm cut off rate of more than 40% and a transmittance rate of more than 90%, using a roll-to-roll nano micro coating system. The study also analyzed the characteristics of the blue light cut films. Thus, the hardness, which is more than 3H, is ensured through fabricating films using a Sol-Gel process that will determine the proper hardness level. Also, the experiment shows excellent results by cutting blue light through a mixing blue light powder.

  • This study was conducted in order to evaluate the effect of postharvest ripening periods and packaging methods on maintaining the quality of fresh-cut winter squash. Winter squash (var. Bouchang) was ripened at $22^{\circ}C$ for 1 or 2 weeks after harvest. The samples were washed in tap water, sanitized in $100{\mu}L/L$ chlorine water, peeled, and cut into 16 parts. Samples were then vacuum packaged or non-vacuum packaged in $80{\mu}m$ nylon/polyethylene (Ny/PE) films and stored at $5^{\circ}C$ for 21 days. Results indicated that different postharvest ripening periods affected gas concentration, firmness, off-odor development, color, and overall quality of fresh-cut winter squash. Samples treated with 2-week ripening periods maintained quality with higher redness value and soluble solid content (SSC) and lower $CO_2$ concentration and off-odor development compared to samples treated with a 1-week ripening period. Non vacuum packaging was effective in increasing visual quality and reducing off-odor development. A combination treatment of 2-week ripening periods and non-vacuum packaging maintained good quality with the lowest off-odor development and the highest visual quality scores at the end of the storage period.

  • In this paper, We propose variable cut-off frequency and variable sample rate small-area multi-channel digital filter for telemetry system. Proposed digital filter reduced hardware area by implementing filter banks that can variably use cut-off frequency and sample rate without additional filter banks for an arbitrary cut ratio. In addition, We propose the architecture in which sample rate can variably be selected according to the number of filters that pass through the multiplexer control. By using time division multiplexing (TDM) supported by the finite impulse response (FIR) intellectual property (IP) of Quartus, the proposed digital filter can greatly reduce digital signal processing (DSP) blocks from 80 to 1 compared without TDM. Proposed digital filter calculated order and coefficients using Kaiser window function in Matlab, and implemented using very high speed integrated circuits hardware descryption language (VHDL). After applying to the telemetry system, we confirmed that the proposed digital filter was operating through the experimental results in the test environment.

  • It is generally required to use modeling or animation tools for inserting dynamic objects into augmented reality, and this process demands high expertise and complexity. This paper proposes a video object based authoring method that enables augmentation with dynamic video objects without such process. Integrated grab-cut and grow-cut method strips initial area of video target off the existing video clips, and snap-cut method is then applied to track objects' boundaries over frames so as to augment real world with continuous motion frames. Experiment shows video cut-out and authoring results achieved by only a few menu selections and simple correcting sketch.

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to propose the need of re-establishing the criteria of the body weight classification in the elderly. We compared the Asia-Pacific Region Criteria (APR-C) with Entropy Model Criteria (ENT-C) using Morbidity rate of chronic diseases which correlates significantly with Body Mass Index (BMI). Methods: Subjects were 886 elderly female participating in the 2007-2009 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). We compared APR-C with those of ENT-C using Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) curve and logistic regression analysis. Results: In the case of the morbidity of hypertension, the results were as follows: Where it was in the T-off point of APR-C, sensitivity was 67.5%, specificity was 43.1%, and Youden's index was 10.6. While in the cut-off point of ENT-C, it was 56.7%, 56.6%, and 13.3 respectively. In the case of the morbidity of diabetes, the results were as follows: In the cut-off point of APR-C, Youden's index was 14.2. While in the cut-off point of ENT-C, it was 17.2 respectively. The Area Under the ROC Curve (AUC) of the subjects who had more than 2 diseases among hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia was 0.615 (95% CI: 0.578-0.652). Compared to the normal group, the odds ratio of the hypertension group which will belong to the overweight or obesity was 1.79 (95% CI: 1.30-2.47) in the APR-C, and 2.04 (95% CI: 1.49-2.80) in the ENT-C (p < 0.001). Conclusions: We conclude that the optimal cut-off point of BMI to distinguish between normal weight and overweight was $24kg/m^2$ (ENT-C) rather than $23kg/m^2$ (APR-C).

  • This paper investigates the modal acoustic power by a cascade of flat-plate airfoils interacting with homogeneous, isotropic turbulence. Basic formulation for the acoustic power upstream and downstream is based on the analytical theory of Smith and its generalization due to Cheong et al. The acoustic power spectrum has been expressed as the sum of cut-on acoustic modes, whose modal power is the product of three terms: a turbulence series, an upstream or downstream power factor and an upstream or downstream acoustic response function. The effect of these terms in the modal acoustic power has been examined. For isotropic turbulence gust, the turbulent series are only reducing factor of the modal acoustic power. The power factor tends to reduce the modal acoustic power in the upstream direction, although the power factor is liable to increase the modal acoustic power in the downstream direction. The modes close to cut-off are decreasing strongly, especially in the downstream direction. Therefore the modes close to cut-off don't contribute highly to the radiated acoustic power in the downstream direction, although the modal acoustic pressure is high for these modes.
