Slotless Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor(PM BLDC) with the characteristics of high speed and power density has been more widely used In Industrial and factory machine. Generally, PM BLDC meter is necessary that the three Hall-lCs evenly be distributed around the stator circumference in case of the 3 phase motor. The Hall-ICs are set up in PM BLDC Motor to detect the main flux from the rotor. therefore the output signal from Hall-ICs is used to drive a power transistor to control the stator winding current. However, instead of using three Hall-ICs, if it used only one Hall-IC, we can estimate information of the others phase in sequence through a rotor This paper identified the characteristics and performance by using one Hall-IC with the 3-phase, 2-pole, 6-slot PM BLDC motor.

This paper presents a method to reduce torque ripple of brushless DC motor by compensating phase delay due to winding inductance. For considering torque ripple comes from the phase winding inductance, torque equation of one phase is derived as Fourier series that is function of the delay. From the equation, also the resultant equation that the current delay is compensated is derived. It is validated that the compensated torque has a form of Fourier series for rectangular wave that is ideal torque, and torque ripple is reduced, consequently. Experimental method for the compensation is realized by replacing switching pattern of inverter by pattern of compensated rotor position. The effectiveness of the proposed method to reduce torque ripple has been demonstrated by the simulation and experimental results using 3 phase 4 pole brushless DC moor.
The purpose of this study was to find the biomechanical research project result carried out at 2011 IAAF World championship in Daegu. This project was approved by the International Amateur Athletic Federation(IAAF) and financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism(MCST) and, Korea Association of Athletics Federations(KAAF). The total number of the project members was 20, including the members of the Scientific Committee, the Korean Society of Sport Biomechanics(KSSB) and graduate students as assistants. The objective of this project has been to analyze the performance in the track events(100 m, 110 mH) and field events(Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Javelin Throw and Shot Put). This project was focused on the biomechanical research only. This kind of analysis has been carried out at major competitions for more than a decade, as it provides coaches and athletes with very useful information as an aid to training programmes and competition preparation. The biomechanical analysis of the top athletes in the world in each specialty serves as a reference for assessing technique and rationalizing the results achieved. The results will be disseminated world-wide and coaches will be in a better position to design training strategies in line with current world trends.
Dictionary meaning of circuit-breaker is a mechanical switching device, capable of making, carrying and breaking currents under normal circuit conditions and also making, carrying for a specified time and breaking currents under specified abnormal circuit conditions such as those of short circuit. and it had been recognized as being operated simultaneously. Controlled Switching System(CSS), which is technology for individual pole operation, are widely used to reduce transient phenomenon, for example switching surges, inrush current, for a all switching cases and nowadays it have become and economical solution for a switching place. The conventional solution to these problem is the use of pre-insertion resistors of $520{\Omega}$. However, it is recognised that the cost for products and maintenance are expensive and this apparatus makes more complex the circuit-breaker mechanism. Korea Electric Power Cooperation (KEPCO) has been study for relevant CCS technology since pilot application in substation in 2003 and plan to apply the actual power grid in 2017. This paper deals with the investigation of international CCS operation status and preview for application in KEPCO power grid.
This study aims to develop a 3D map which allows users to better understand the overall topography and to memorize the general concepts of the current location for tourists. The Map also utilizes different forms and color codes of the block units in the panoramic view. First, in preparation for making the road block unit, 28 types of roads presented in common map were defined. Based on the definitions, 12 dominant groups were formed. In designing each form, visual correlation was considered. Second, 42 types of terrain features presented in normal maps were defined for making the panoramic block unit. Then, 2 dominant groups, each contains 5 subgroups, were made according to the assemble pattern and the size of area. On the basis of the grouped units, the panoramic block units were produced with 3D pole line graphics maintaining integration. Lastly, each panoramic block units were categorized by color classes such as blue, green, gray and brown class. The overall color combination of the work was evaluated as well harmonized since the Moon&Spencer's Aesthetic measure value exceeds 0.5.

In this paper, the MMIC SPST switches operating from DC to 3GHz were designed and implemented. Prior to the design of switches, the small and large-signal switch models were needed to predict switch performance accurately. The newly proposed small-signal switch model parameters were extracted from measured S-parameters using optimization technique with estimated initial values and boundary limits. In the extraction of large-signal switch model parameters, the current source was modeled by fitting empirical equations to measured DC data and the charge model was derived from extracted channel capacitances from measured S-parameters varying the drain-source voltage. To design basic series-shunt SPST switches and isolation-improved SPST switches, we applied this model to commercial microwave circuit simulator. The improved SPST switches exhibited 0.302dB insertion loss, 35.762dB isolation, 1.249 input VSWR, 1.254 output VSWR, and about 15.7dBm PldB with 0/-3V control voltages at 3GHz.
This study aimed to develop the methods of growing Enteromorpha prolifera natural seedlings in its natural habitat and artificial indoor seedlings by inducing spore release. Likewise, the study examined the possibility of mass production by developing cultivation techniques with cultivating examination. The natural seedling of E.prolifera thrived in a sea area composed of sand and mud, which Is its natural habitat. Growing of this alga on the seedling frame 20 cm high from the bottom at the intertidal zone in summer and 40 cm high in fall was found to be very effective. However, enabling the best attachment rate for artificial indoor seedling requires inducing spore release after drying the mature thalli in a dark place fur about 12∼24 hours and setting seedling nets in a dark water tank (spore solution) for 24 hours. Breeding E.prolifera in a pole-system farm is best done in shallow sea areas with mud or mud and sand geological feature. However, floating-system lam is better for deep-sea areas with fast current. Ideal farming places are sea areas with plenty of nutritional salt and safe places that protect the lam facilities against billows. Furthermore, an exposure method on seawater surface to produce larger output should be used.

Large-area RF-driven ion source is being developed at Germany for the heating and current drive of ITER plasmas. Negative hydrogen (deuterium) ion sources are major components of neutral beam injection systems in future large-scale fusion experiments such as ITER and DEMO. RF ion sources for the production of positive hydrogen ions have been successfully developed at IPP (Max-Planck- Institute for Plasma Physics, Garching) for ASDEX-U and W7-AS neutral beam injection (NBI) systems. In recent, the first NBI system (NBI-1) has been developed successfully for the KSTAR. The first and second long-pulse ion sources (LPIS-1 and LPIS-2) of NBI-1 system consist of a magnetic bucket plasma generator with multi-pole cusp fields, filament heating structure, and a set of tetrode accelerators with circular apertures. There is a development plan of large-area RF ion source at KAERI to extract the positive ions, which can be used for the second NBI (NBI-2) system of KSTAR, and to extract the negative ions for future fusion devices such as ITER and K-DEMO. The large-area RF ion source consists of a driver region, including a helical antenna (6-turn copper tube with an outer diameter of 6 mm) and a discharge chamber (ceramic and/or quartz tubes with an inner diameter of 200 mm, a height of 150 mm, and a thickness of 8 mm), and an expansion region (magnetic bucket of prototype LPIS in the KAERI). RF power can be transferred up to 10 kW with a fixed frequency of 2 MHz through a matching circuit (auto- and manual-matching apparatus). Argon gas is commonly injected to the initial ignition of RF plasma discharge, and then hydrogen gas instead of argon gas is finally injected for the RF plasma sustainment. The uniformities of plasma density and electron temperature at the lowest area of expansion region (a distance of 300 mm from the driver region) are measured by using two electrostatic probes in the directions of short- and long-dimension of expansion region.
In this paper, we investigated the effect of an indirect oxidation zone in an electrolysis reactor that used Ti/$IrO_2$ as the anode and SUS 316L as the cathode. Based on our preliminary results, the electrolysis reactor was operated with pole plate interval of 6 mm, current density 1.0 $A/dm^2L$ and electrolyte concentration 15%. The removal efficiency, COD (chemical oxygen demand), was additionally increased by 55% and 12.5${\sim}$15.0% in the direct and indirect oxidation zones, respectively. The removal efficiencies of T-N (total nitrogen) and T-P (total phosphorus) were found to be 88% and 75%, respectively. It was shown that the additional effect of the indirect oxidation zone on the removal was nearly negligible. Also, as the removal of COD,T-N and T-P took place during the initial2${\sim}$5 days of reaction, it was concluded that there was no need to extend the retention time of the electrolysis reactor.
YBCO film was synthesized by using a new approach to the TFA-MOD method. In the fabrication process, $Y_2Ba_1Cu_1O_x\;and\;Ba_3Cu_5O_8$ powders were used as precursors (the so called '211 process'), instead of Y-, Ba-, and Cu-based acetates, and dissolved in trifluoroacetic acid followed by calcining and firing heat treatment. Consequently, we successfully fabricated YBCO film and evaluated the phase formation, texture evolution, and critical properties as a function of the calcining and firing temperature and humidity, in order to explore its possible application in coated conductor fabrication. The films were calcined at $430-460^{\circ}C$ and then fired at $750-800^{\circ}C\;in\;a\;0-20\%$ humidified $Ar-O_2$ atmosphere. We observed that $BaF_2$ phase was effectively reduced and that a sharp and strong biaxial texture formed under humidified atmosphere leading to increased critical properties. In addition, we found that the microstructure varied significantly with the firing temperature: the grain grew further, the film became denser, and the degree of texture and phase purity varied as the firing temperature increased. For the film fired at $775^{\circ}C$ after calcining at $460^{\circ}C$, the critical current was obtained to be 39 A/cm-width (corresponding critical current density is $2.0\;MA/cm^2$ which was probably attributed to such factors as the enhanced phase purity and out-of-plane texture, the moderate film density and grain size, and crack-free surface.
