Satisfaction Through Clothing Utilization and Environmental Sustainability Based on Fashion AI Curation Service

  • This study investigates fashion Artificial Intelligence (AI) curation services to expand sustainable consumption. We analyzed the factors that affect the AI fashion curation service experience of women in their 20s and 30s using their clothes. An online survey was conducted from March 29, 2021, to June 4, 2021, for women of the previously mentioned age groups residing in the metropolitan area. Before answering the questionnaire, they installed the "Style Bot" application on their phone, took five or more photos of their clothes according to the manual provided by the application, stored them in a virtual wardrobe on the application, and then responded to the questionnaire using the AI recommended coordinating function. The effect of the properties of fashion AI curation service application on the use of clothes was investigated. Among the attributes of the fashion AI curation service application, convenience, speed, and usefulness were found to have a positive effect on the use of clothes, and promptness had no effect. Second, regarding the impact of clothing utilization on environmental sustainability, clothing utilization was found to have a positive effect on environmental sustainability. Third, environmental sustainability was found to have a positive effect on satisfaction. Fourth, clothing utilization had a positive effect on satisfaction. Thus, fashion AI curation service would help promote service development so that clothes could be used actively through an in-depth understanding of the properties of these services. Finally, the results of this study would contribute to promoting environmental sustainability.

초등학교 학교도서관의 북 큐레이션 운영 현황 연구 (A Study on the Operation of Book Curation in Elementary School Library)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 사서교사를 대상으로, 북 큐레이션의 현황, 북 큐레이션의 필요성과 효과성에 대한 인식 태도를 조사하여 향후 북 큐레이션 서비스의 개선 방안을 논의하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 51명의 경기 지역 사서교사를 대상으로 북 큐레이션의 운영 현황을 설문형식으로 조사하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 응답자의 86.3%가 북 큐레이션 운영 경험을 가지고 있었고, 둘째, 북 큐레이션 서비스를 하는 가장 중요한 이유는 학생들에게 다양한 주제의 자원을 소개하기 위한 것이었으며, 셋째, 북 큐레이션의 주제는 도서 관련 행사와 사회적 이슈를 반영하여 선정하며, 넷째, 사서교사들은 북큐레이션에 대한 교육을 받지 않고 서비스를 수행하는 경우가 많았으며, 마지막으로, 북 큐레이션 서비스가 필요하다는 인식은 높지만 공간과 예산의 부족 등으로 운영상 어려움을 겪고 있다. 결과를 바탕으로, 우리는 이 연구가 북 큐레이션의 실제를 보고하는 데이터로 학술적 기여가 있으며, 도서관의 자원이 사장되지 않고 이용자와 적극적으로 매칭되기 위하여, 사서교사의 전문적 교육, 교육과정과의 연계 등이 필요하며, 향후 연구는 선행연구들에서 공통적으로 제기된 문제를 제거할 수 있어야 한다고 제언하였다.

A Study on the Factors Affecting User Trust and Satisfaction: Focusing on the Online Fashion Curation Services

  • Various corporates have launched products and brands to meet the diverse needs of consumers. However, an excess of information and products could be collapsed into a choice paradox far from the intention. As an alternative to these problems, curation-based services have recently been in the limelight and can be adopted into e-commerce sites. As one of the earlier studies on the considerable factors of curation services, this study focuses on the online fashion recommendation system in which design quality, interactivity, and perceived usefulness will affect trust, satisfaction, and continued intention to use. In the result, the design quality factor shows a positive effect on satisfaction, but not on the trust. Also, interactivity doesn't demonstrate a significant positive effect on both the satisfaction and the trust factors far from the previous ones but the perceived usefulness had a positive effect on those. In addition, the personalization does not affect a significant effect on the satisfaction factor but on the trust factor. Subsequently, the trust affects the satisfaction, and the satisfaction on the continued intention to use factor, but trust does not significantly affect the continued intention to use directly.

AHP를 이용한 사서교사의 북큐레이션 서비스 제공에 대한 우선순위 분석 (Analysis of Priorities for the Provision of Book Curation Service by Teacher Librarian Using AHP)

  • 본 연구는 큐레이터와 사서교사의 직무를 상호 비교·분석하여 학교도서관에서 제공하는 북큐레이션 서비스의 내용과 영역을 설정한 후, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Progress) 방법을 통해 사서교사가 중요하게 인식하는 북큐레이션 서비스의 우선순위를 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 북큐레이션 서비스 영역을 계층별로 나누고, 학교도서관 전담인력인 사서교사들을 대상으로 AHP 방법을 적용하여 학교도서관 북큐레이션 서비스 영역의 우선순위를 분석하였다. 분석결과 상위계층의 우선순위는 정보서비스, 전문성 신장, 정보 자원, 경영, 홍보 및 마케팅 순으로 나타났고, 하위계층의 우선순위는 조사 및 연구, 질의응답, 자기계발, 전시, 예산편성, 전문가 연계, 트렌드 분석, 독서교육, 인적자원, 기획, 협력수업, 마케팅 서비스, 소장, 온라인 홍보, 오프라인 홍보, 시설 및 환경 순으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 학교도서관 북큐레이션 서비스를 효과적으로 제공하기 위한 방안으로 학교도서관 이용자의 특성 파악, 북큐레이션을 위한 분류기준의 설정, 독자 참여형 북큐레이션 서비스 모색의 필요성을 제시하였다.

Kakao Deep Reading Index: Consumption Time as a Key Factor in News Curation Algorithm

  • This paper introduces the structure and effects of Kakao's news curation algorithm, which is created based on the Deep Reading Index (DRI). The DRI examines the extent of deep reading through content reading time, that is, the duration of reader engagement with an article. Current news curation algorithms focus on reader choice, with the click-through rate or pageviews as the gauge for consumption frequency. DRI is a product of the challenge of introducing and adopting a new factor called 'consumption time' instead of 'frequency of consumption', which is the basis of existing curation algorithms. The analysis of DRI-based services proves that the new algorithm can act as a curation system that is more effective in providing in-depth and quality news reports.

도서정보 기반의 고객 맞춤형 큐레이션 서비스 및 비즈니스 모델 연구 (A Study of a Personalized Curation Service and Business Model based on Book Information)

  • This study checks the conceptual definition of domestic book curation which is still in the beginning stage, the necessity of developing service and business, domestic and overseas case of relevant service. Further, the problem of book recommendation service and the difficulty anticipated in the embodiment of service are investigated together and the business model as new IT service is suggested to supplement them. Specifically, the collection of book information and customer information (interest and purchase pattern) and the procedure of mining the collected information and the process of embodying visualization was presented in the sector of service in the first place. Then, the technical transfer of developed solution and the construction cost and the method to impose commission over contents sales are presented in the sector of business. Diverse social and economic effects are expected to realize by developing and utilizing such services, namely, promoting the distribution of excellent book which were kept in dead storage so far due to lack of marketing support, recommendation readers the proper books which are convenient and necessary.

The Effect of Cosmetics Curation Service Quality Attributes on Consumer's Intention to Use

  • In modern society, the means of sharing information has expanded from existing personal computers and mobile devices to a variety of smart devices rapidly increasing information production. Recently, curations have extended to online businesses. There has been wide use of curation services in the cosmetics curation market. In this study, focuses on factors which cosmetics curators have in mind. In relation to the impact of cosmetics curation quality properties on usability, the effects of the medium of satisfaction and confidence are to be verified. For this study, a survey of 378 women in their 20s and 40s who had experience with curations was done and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 statistics programs. The results showed that information quality and personalization quality of cosmetics curation service were important factors affecting customer satisfaction. Personalization quality also had a positive effect on trust. System quality has a positive impact on trust and further influence on intention to use. This indicates that the trust on the curation service depends on the stability of system. However, design quality was found to have no significant effect on satisfaction and trust. In future, the research related to application and utilization of big data-based cosmetic curation will be further expanded.

연구·학습 지원을 위한 대학도서관의 콘텐츠 큐레이션 전략 (Content Curation Strategies of University Libraries for Research and Learning Support)

  • 본 연구에서는 이용자의 학습과 연구를 지원하기 위한 대학도서관의 콘텐츠 큐레이션 전략을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 방법으로 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 콘텐츠 큐레이션의 개념에 대해 살펴보았다. 이후 대학도서관과 국가도서관, 콘텐츠 기업 등의 콘텐츠 큐레이션 서비스 현황과 사례를 분석하여 시사점을 발견하였다. 연구의 결과, 대학도서관의 성공적인 콘텐츠 큐레이션을 위한 전략으로 양질의 콘텐츠 제공, 선제적 정보서비스 역할 수행, 콘텐츠의 최신성 확보, 이용자 참여를 통한 상호작용성 확보, 개인화 알고리즘 개발의 다섯 가지로 제안하였다.

도서관 큐레이션 서비스를 통한 이용자-도서관 관계형성에 대한 연구 (A Study on User-Library Relationship with the Library Curation Service)

  • 제3차 도서관발전종합계획에서 '4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요한 미래 시민 역량을 강화하기 위한 프로그램 및 서비스의 강화'를 핵심과제로 선정함에 따라 최근 인공지능 기술을 적용한 도서관의 이용자 맞춤형 큐레이션 서비스가 각광받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 맞춤형 큐레이션 서비스가 도서관과 이용자의 관계형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 밝혀보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 도서관 큐레이션 서비스는 이용자의 만족도와 신뢰도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 또한 만족도와 신뢰도는 도서관 재방문의도와 구전의도 그리고 이용 증가 및 새로운 서비스 이용의사에도 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 이용자 수요조사에 기반한 이용자 맞춤형 큐레이션 서비스 개발 및 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이며, 나아가 미래사회에 도서관의 경쟁력을 향상시킴으로써 한국의 공공도서관의 위상을 제고시키는데 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

산학 연계 프로젝트 기반 학습(PBL)을 활용한 AI 패션 큐레이션 실습 교과목 운영 사례 연구 (A Case Study on an Artificial Intelligence Fashion Curation Practice Subject through Industrial-academic Project-based Learning)

  • In the fourth industrial revolution, fashion students are expected to work with various technologies to show creativity. This study aimed to conduct project-based learning(PBL) in collaboration with industry experts to design and operate artificial intelligence(AI) in the practice subject of fashion curation through the industrial academic teaching method. We first looked at teaching methods and strategies incorporating PBL in various academic fields. Next, we analyzed fashion projects and fashion curation services applying AI. Then through the question-and-answer method and by consulting with industry experts, we developed a curriculum for AI fashion curation, applying PBL(fashion market and trend analysis; new styles and time, place, and occasion planning; AI machine learning data set production; curation model development; and evaluation) suitable for the university's educational environment, information technology company conditions, and fashion students. As part of a close cooperation system with the industry, we conducted a 15-week Fashion Project II (Capstone Design) course and evaluated the outcomes and student satisfaction with the course. Students were able to develop new style, and time, place, and occasion categories and to utilize strategies for AI fashion curation services reflecting the unique needs of Millennials and Generation Z. Students showed high satisfaction with the curriculum. Further, it was confirmed that the study successfully applied PBL in class using AI technology in fashion education.
