한옥의 공간을 적용한 노인복지시설 유니트케어의 평면 유형 (The Elderly Welfare Facilities Unit-Care Type Development According to the Atmosphere of a Traditional Korean House)

  • After elderly long term care insurance implementation (July 1, 2008), the elderly medical and welfare facilities covered by medical insurance continuously increases 30 to 63% sanction annually. Rapid growth of senior citizen welfare facilities arises in a poor residential environment issues. In most cases, it is the legal minimum criteria tailored for 4 persons accommodated in nature, such as the hospital. Therefore, 'Hometown-style traditional Korean House' is needed to rest comfortable for elderly people. Research goal is to provide direction and design materials by developing a type of architectural planning for the elderly welfare facilities unit care of the atmosphere of a traditional Korean House. The following two elements are applied to the elderly welfare facilities. Senior citizen welfare facilities in the main living space are applied to modern residential space of the elderly-friendly atmosphere of a traditional Korean House. It is applied for the Korean lifestyle and residential culture are through an analysis of Japan's leading development unit care system.

지역단위 사회복지공동모금의 효과적인 모금과 배분방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Fundraising and Distribution of Community Chest in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the realities of fundraising and distribution of the local community chest in Korea. Until now little empirical study has been conducted concerning the culture of giving. Using the sample of 900 citizens selected from 7 cities and another sample of 230 from policy-making group in 16 local community chest, this study analysed empirical1y how the capacity, motivation and opportunity of the prospective donors are related to giving and the current issues of fundraising and distribution. According to the results of analysis, the level of motivation in giving culture is very low. Also it was found that religious beliefs is the most important motivating factor in giving. Participation in volunteer activities is another important factor to influencing giving. Some effective fundraising strategies are suggested including strengthening the motivation of prospective donors, workplace donation and joint-fundraising with religious organization or other foundation, coordinating fundraising activities between the community chest and other social welfare agencies. Program-oriented distribution and change of some distribution standards are stressed as an effective distribution strategy.

A study on development of VR-based tangible functional game for prevention of dementia

  • Currently, as Korea enters into a fast aging society, the problem of dementia population is increasing. In this paper, we intend to contribute to the improvement of welfare for the elderly by developing virtual reality technology and related interface technology to effectively perform hand movements known as effective methods for preventing and treating dementia. As the content of the research and development of this paper, it is designed to be easy for the elderly to use and stimulate brain function by applying VR technology using sensors, and to activate mental and physical activities for the elderly who are marginalized in terms of cultural welfare. We intend to develop by classifying the types of games and contents that can induce them. As a result of this thesis, we developed contents using virtual reality to improve cognitive abilities for elderly people with poor cognitive ability to activate the brains of users' cognition, memory, and attention to prevent and treat dementia I want to contribute.

목민심서를 통해 한국적 복지정책에 대한 연구 (A study on Korean welfare policy examined through Mokminsimseo)

  • 본 연구는 목민심서 애민육조와 진황육조의 분석으로 조선시대 사회복지정책의 구체적 내용을 살펴보고 이에 대한 오늘날 사회복지정책의 연계성을 파악하였다. 그 결과 애민육조에서는 양로(養老)에서 노인복지법과 노인 복지서비스의 기초내용을 담고 있었고, 자유(慈幼)에서는 유아 및 아동과 관련한 복지정책 서비스, 관질(寬疾)을 통해 장애인 복지의 가치계계과 정책 방향을 확인하였으며 구재(救災)에서는 사회적 위기와 재난대응에 대한 사회통합을 요구하고 있음을 알수 있었다. 이는 또한 이는 사회복지정책지표를 통해서도 가족안전, 소득보장, 건강정책, 사회통합 등의 사회복지정책의 주요영역이 강조되어왔음을 확인하였다. 또한 진황육조의 분석을 통하여 비자(備資), 규모(規模), 보력(補力) 등에서 사회보장제도와 사회보험제도의 기초 이념과 가치뿐만 아니라 구체적 정책 시행 내용까지 담고 있음을 살펴보았다. 사회복지 시설을 구비하여 각 대상별 체계적 사회복지서비스를 시행하고 있는 오늘날 사회복지정책 및 사회서비스 정책 등은 진황육조를 통하여 그 근간을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 현재 정책 시스템인 사회복지정책지표를 통해서도 사회통합과 소득보장 부분의 강조가 진황육조에서 두드러지게 나타남을 확인하였다.

사회 복지 시설의 급식관리 실태조사 (Investigation of Foodservice in some social welfare facilities in Seoul)

  • The following study was done to investigate foodservice management practice. Total subjects were 18 foodservices in social welfare facilities in Seoul. Among studied facilities, nine were the welfare facilities for children, five were the welfare facilities for elderly, two were the welfare facilities for a mentally and physically disabled person and the remaining two were vagabond care facilities. Methods used were mainly questionaires. These questionaires were answered by manager and interviews were also done for a same person. Equipments were evaluated by investigators using the evaluation form. The results of the study were summarized as follows. Number of cooks and assistant cooks among employee in foodservice establishment were about 2-6 persons. One dietitian is stationed in 2 places among 18 places. Food purchasing and menu plannings were mainly practiced by manager, secretary and other personnels, in more than 50% of social welfare facilities. The type of the menu in most facilities was the set menu. The period of turn over for cycle menu was a week in 50% of facilities. Seventy seven point eight percentage of the welfare facilities were used the weekly or monthly cycle. For the food preparation, there was almost no place using standard recipes. Foodstuffs were purchased in local market. Moreover, the preference test of served foods were done for residence of each facilities. But it was not applicated effectively. Conditions of most equipments in the kitchen were defective specially in dishwashing and sterilization step.

  • 최근 노인복지관을 비롯한 지역사회 복지관 역시 고독사 문제에 관심을 갖고 있으며, 지역사회 노인돌봄 관련의 종합적 접근을 시도하고 있다. 문제는 지속가능하면서, 비전문이 아닌 훈련받은 준전문에 준하는, 자원봉사자가 필요하다는 점이다. 따라서, 인력의 지속적 보충 및 전문화를 기반할 수 있는 교육프로그램을 제공하고 이를 현장에 적용할 수 있는 방안들이 모색되고 있다. 본 연구는 사회복지전공 대학생이 자원봉사활동을 통해 지역사회 독거노인의 고독사 예방의 주요한 자원으로 연계 됨을 목적으로, 실제 이를 적용해 봄으로서, 지역사회 내 독거노인에 대한 사회복지전공대학생의 자원봉사자 활동이 보다 체계적으로 제공되어야 함을 제시하였다.

한국인의 정치적 성향 판별요인 분석: 복지태도를 중심으로 (A Study on Discriminant Factors of Political Orientation of Korean People: Focusing upon Welfare Attitudes)

  • 이 연구는 한국인의 정치적 성향을 판별하는데 복지에 대한 태도가 유의한 기여를 하는지 여부를 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 분석자료는 2022년도 수집된 한국복지패널 17년차 자료이다. 종속변수는 진보와 보수로 구분된 응답자의 정치적 성향이며 핵심 종속변수는 복지태도의 두 가지 측면, 보편주의 vs 선별주의에 대한 태도와 복지를 위한 증세에 대한 태도이다. 기존 연구들에서 정치적 성향에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려진 성별, 연령, 정치에 대한 관심, 경제활동 상태, 교육수준 등이 통제변수로 활용되었다. 판별분석을 통해 종속변수 범주의 구분에 유의하게 하는 독립변수 확인, 확인된 독립변수를 활용하여 판별함수 구축, 판별 능력 측면에서 개별 독립변수들의 상대적 중요도 파악, 판별함수의 판별력 평가 및 새로운 판별 대상에 대한 범주 예측 등을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 판별함수에 의한 집단 간 판별점수는 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 '성별'과 '임시직 여부'를 제외한 모든 변수들이 유의한 판별효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 종속변수의 판별에 미치는 효과의 크기는 '응답자 연령', '복지태도_증세', '복지태도_보편 vs 선별', '정치에 대한 관심', '교육수준' 순으로 나타났다. '진보' 집단의 79.8%, '보수' 집단의 81.2%가 정확히 분류된 것으로 나타났으며, 분류 적중률은 80.2%로 나타났다.

가정복지서비스 프로그램개발을 위한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study on Development of Family Welfare Service Program)

  • The purpose of this study were to identify the differences between the demand for education program and the demand for counseling program of family welfare and to analyze the relation between demographic characteristics and the demand for family welfare service program For these purposes, total sample of 909 women those residing in Seoul, Inchon, Taejun, Taegu, Pusan, Kwangju, Chungju, Junju and Choonchun, were selected. Statistics were frequencies, means, percentile, cross-tabulation, t-test and Anova. The results were as follows. First, in family welfare service program on children and adolescents, the improvement in family living, consumption, retirement planning, health management, protection of environment and resource, volunteering and the advance of living culture, the demand for education program were higher than the demand for cunseling program. In particular, demands for both education program and counseling program on children and adolescents were the highest. Second, age, residence and income had very significant effects on the demands for both education program and counseling program. By understanding these differences in the demand for education program and counseling program of family welfare, practitioners and educators may be able to develop family welfare service program to solve family problems.

  • Science & Technology (S&T) is the most important thing to attain competitiveness in the 21st century. Our traditional S&T policies have been focused on hardware infra structure. But, we should consider soft infra of S&T to enhance welfare development of S&T personnel. S&T should be had a correct understanding method of the creation for S&T culture. It implies that S&T policy in the 21st century should consider non-material factors which include social, human, environment and culture. Under this background. This paper defines the concept of welfare of S&T personnel. Also this paper deals with the change of S&T policy of Korea and analyzes the characteristic of each phase. This paper argues that all actors (for example S&T personnel, corporate using S&T, public) should participate in the process of S&T innovation since the 21st century is the generation of popularization of S&T. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a few methods of welfare improvement of S&T personnel to reinforce soft infra structure of S&T.

아동 복지시설의 급식 운영 실태 조사 (Foodservice Management in Children Care Social Welfare facilities)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current foodservice management practices of children care social welfare facilities. Questionnaire were sent to the directors of all 275 children welfare facilities in Korea and 107 returned facilities in korea and 107 returned the complete answers. These questionnaire were answered by manager. Equipments were evaluated by investigators using the evaluation form. staffing structure revealed that most of the facilities had a director, a secretary, nurse, but only 15% of the system hired a dietitian. It showed the shortage of nurse, physical therapists, and dietitian. Therefore, food purchasing, menu planning, food delivery, and the other food service management processes are handled by non-professionals, such as director, secretary, or cooks. Food purchasing money of total budget is $10{\sim}20%$. Food purchasing place in most facilities was market place. Foodstuffs were almost purchased $2{\sim}3$ per weeks. 90% of the welfare facilities were used the menu. Modified food frequency questionnaire were used to get the frequencies of each food items used in menu. The results showed relatively satisfactory in food frequencies, however, this was about what was used in menu, not vat was eaten by the residents. conditions of most equipments in the kitchen were defective specially in dishwashing and sterilization step.
