This study aims to review the socialist news magazines between 1925 and 1936 under the Japanese regime, then to analyze how they published and how they managed the branch. The socialist magazines appeared legally and officially right after the 3 1 movement when the ownership and publishing of newspapers and news magazines was partially allowed. However, there were many obstacles because the permission by the Japanese regime was a result of deceptive cultural policy. The Japanese government more sensitively responded to the socialists' related news stories rather than other types of publications. Due to over-censorship and financial difficulty, the life time of most socialists' news magazines was very short. However, these news magazines did play an important role to disseminate socialism. In doing so, because the news magazines were a part of social movements, the delivery network was also maintained based on social movements.

In order to estimate the ecological parameters of the population, short-necked clams, Ruditapes philippinarum, were collected from Jindu coast at Hansan Island, from April to December in 2005. The growth of the clam was estimated by von Bertalanffy growth model and each parameters were obtained from a nonlinear regression as $L_{\infty}\;=\;48.8\;mm$, k = 0.28 and $t_0\;=\;-0.88\;(R^2\;=\;0.994)$. Instantaneous coefficient of total mortality (Z) and fishing mortality (F) was calculated to be 0.8614/yr. and 0.6122/yr, respectively. The age at the first capture was estimated to be 2.88 year. Using the present parameter for clam fishing, the yield-per recruit (Y/R) was estimated to be 3.44g. Although the maximum Y/R was obtained under the parameters ($t_c\;=\;3.48\;yr$. and F = 0.9295/yr), it is favorable to maintain the current fishing effort considering the annual fluctuation of the parameters.

Objective of this study was conducted to determine the proper transplanting distance for turf cultivation in the bare land. For investigating the proper transplanting distance of turf cultivation, it were measured the growth characteristics as plant height, root length, number of branching, number of nodule and length of stolon, and yield properties such as fresh weight and dry matter. In $30{\times}30cm$ of transplanting distance plot, plant height, root length, number of branching, number of nodule and length of stolen were 14.1cm, 22.0cm, 7.0, 31 and 77.5cm, and also the fresh weight and dry matter were 16.1 and 11.0g/plant, respectively. It was observed that growth characteristics and yield properties were highest at $30{\times}30cm$ of transplanting distance, respectively. Therefore, it considered that the proper transplanting distance was $30{\times}30cm$ for turf cultivation in the bare soil.

The purpose of this study is to apply the digital storytelling to the traditional portrait which includes the various historical and personal stories for modern transformation of it. In the general understanding of traditional paintings, there is a oversimplified analysis of the narrative about traditional portrait. Considering the contemporary cultural context, the multi-dimensional study on the various modern meanings of the traditional portrait are very essential. This study examines the digital storytelling application of the traditional portrait of Kim, Hongdo and applies for modern transformation. This research has the implications for modern transformation of traditional art that broaden our understanding of the various traditional portrait includes ideological and aesthetic significances by the digital storytelling.

Through the film 'Miss Granny', we analyzed a variety of structures. Social awareness of the cultural content of the film shown in the form of elderly social psychology, combination of approaches, role structural analysis of the people around centered the main character, acceleration structure analysis of the people around, the atmosphere structural analysis according to the environment of the people around. By these analysis, the elderly mentality was noticed by sociological theory related to the elderly. The formation of negative stereotypes and perceptions in what young people have a bias and unconscious, conscious discrimination against the elderly was mentioned in conclusion. Because the positive changes in recognition of the elderly is necessary, collective prejudice should be eliminated. The social atmosphere composition that can empathize with the sentiment of the elderly in the pursuit of youth and the necessity to develop generation integrated social programs with that younger generation and older generation sympathize together were suggested. were heartfelt suggested.

Along with recent rapid growth in social media and mobile media in the web 2.0 flow, represented as openness, participation, and sharing, general and various changes are essential not only in economical, social, and cultural aspects, but also in politics. In the past years, the people of Korea have drawn attention in the international society as early adopters in new IT products. In the current dynamic varying social media environment, the politics must put efforts to utilize a method emphasing on communication with the people. Efforts to change are essential to modify the vision of organization as smart citizens party and implement the social media strategy. In this study, we investigate and suggest methods to change in the social media environment maintaining close relation with the people in order to unite with them. Our reports will help to revisit the existing government/party operation and to rethink about the efficient operating strategy suitable for social media environment.

The aim of this research is to change the self as ill being lacking need satisfaction to the self as wellbeing through the communication process. An anger among Korean middle-aged women is formed in a unique socio-cultural context, life, and hierarchical structure of the society where they belong to. Thus, anger for middle-aged woman can be cured when both the doctor and the patient are equipped with humanistic thinking and positions, and the angry self can be changed into the owner of subjective life. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of recreational therapy as part of Social Adult Day Care Program administered in the state of New York for the Korean American elderly living in the United States. The study was conducted in a nonequivalent control group posttest-only design from February to April, 2017. The participants included 35 subjects in the experimental group and 35 subjects in the control group; among the sample, 66 participants' data were analyzed. The average age of subjects who participated in this study was 79.4 years, and the average duration of residence in the United States was 24.6 years. Based on the study results, the recreational therapy program provided by the day care center was found to have a positive effect on the participant's daily life performances, depression and loneliness. Therefore, a variety of cultural sensitive recreational therapy program for the elderly population should be developed and operated in the future; furthermore, evidence-based research should be conducted to evaluate the effects of these programs.
