A pagurid hermit crab, Pagurixus patiae collected from Hyung-ge Island, Busan, southern Korea is newly recorded into the Korean fauna. Pagurixus patiae is the only species of the genus recorded in Korea. Morphological descriptions of P. patiae are provided.

Fifteen mysid species representing 4 genera are reported from the west coast of Korea, Of these, Archaeomysis vulgaris (Nakazawa), Archaeomysis japonica Hanamura, Jo and Murano and Acanthomysis tenuicauda Murano are new to the Korean fauna, Acanthomysis aspera li, Acanthomysis fujinagai li, Acanthomysis japonica Nakazawa and Acanthomysis okayamaensis li are new to the western Korean fauna. Detailed description with illustrative figures, ecological notes and keys to species are given.

Protogeton incertus Mayer, 1903 belonging to the family Caprellidae was collected from the South Sea, Korea. This species is very similar to Protogeton inflatus Mayer, but it is only distinguishable by the presence of biarticulate mandibular palp. Previous studies provided a very brief description of the species and lacked detailed illustration. In this study, the Korean Protogeton incertus is fully illustrated based on the mature and immature specimens.

In crustacea the molting cycle is the most important physiological process affecting growth, behaviour, reproduction and population dynamics through their life span. Particularly molt cycle is closely related to reproductive cycle, and it is important to determine the successive stages of molt cycle to understand reproductive phenomena including ovarian cycle and the development of the embryos in the marsupium. A new species of ianirid isopod from a subtidal bottom in the Korea Strait is described and illustrated under the name of Juniralata koreuensis. This species is characterized by the cephalon lacking a distinct rostrum and prominent antero-lateral expansions, the pleotelson lacking postero-lateral projections, and the male pleopod 1 having a nipple-shaped lobe on lateral apex.

1969年부터 1970年까지 著者들이 南韓의 江原道, 全羅北道 海岸地方에서 採集한 집게類 (異尾類)를 同定 調査한 結果, 數種의 韓國未記錄種을 얻었다. 이들 중 3種, 즉 Pagurus cavimanus(Miers), P. gracilipes(Stimpson), P. anomalus(Balss)를 記載 報告한다.

The euphausiid crustacean Stylocheiron abbreviatum G. O. Sars, 1883 has been found in the southern waters of Jeju Island, Korea. This species is the third member of the genus Stylocheiron and the twelfth of the family Euphausiidae identified in Korean waters. Using descriptions of this species, a key to Korean euphausiids is presented.

Eighteen species of terrestrial isopods are recorded from Korea. Lucosioides toitii, n. gen. and n. sp. is described. MonEoloniscus Verhoeff is considered to be a full genus. Four poorly known species are described, viz., Exnlloniscus cortii, Lucasioides gigfiotosi, MonEoloniscus koreonus, and M. n ipponicus. Tvlos grinuliferus and Alloniscus balssi are discussed and illustrated. Porcellio (Nagura) vonnamei Arcangeli from Japan is transferred to Mongoloniscus. Nagurus katakurus Nunomura from Japan is considered to be a junior svnonlun of Mongoloniscus nipponicus.

The anisogammaridean specimens urere collected in a swamp near the lake in Kangnung, Kang-won-do province in South Korea in June 1986 and November 199G. The examined specimens were identified as a new species belongs to Jesogqmmaws (Jesogammows). It was fully described ann illustrated under the name of Jesogummaws (Jesogommows) ilhoii.
