  • This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Hope program, which were consisted in specific knowledge base, motivation, creativity to contribute development of creativity, problem-solving, learning motivation and learning behavior of college students. A total of 49 subjects were selected and took lessons of 14 hours from August 26 to September 13 over three weeks. Those were used for pre and post test to creativity test, problem-solving test, learning motivation test and learning behavior test(Lee, 2009). Because two groups didn't have homogeneity, ANCOVA test were used to verify the difference. The results of ANCOVA on the total scores of creativity, problem-solving, learning motivation and learning behaviors showed that there are statistically significant mean differences between the experiment group and the control group(p<.05).

  • The purpose of the study is to develop a science writing program for middle school students and to analyze the effects of this program. The program consists of twenty-one 10-minute long sessions in 2 chapters (stimulus and response; the structure and function of plants) from the $2^{nd}$ year middle school textbooks. The team selected themes in science writing that can cultivate multiple facets of creativity in students: flexibility, originality and elaboration. The format of the science writing was diverse. The program was conducted through worksheets, and there was separate section within the worksheet for teacher to give feedback to students. The science writing program with teacher's feedback improved students' scientific creativity(p<.01). It seems like teacher's feedback is critical in checking students' concept and boosting students' creativity. The program is statistically effective in improving students' flexibility(p<.01), however it is not the case for improving on their originality and ability to elaborate(p>.05). We assumed that the relatively extensive portion of the writing was not suitable to improve students' ability to elaborate their ideas further as well as fostering originality. In order to improve the students' creativity and ability to elaborate, there is a need to adjust the amount of science writing, content, time.

  • Building on previous literature of human resource management and development, this paper investigates the effect of various characteristics of informal education a firm offers on employees' individual creativity. we identify quantity, quality, and variety as three critical components of informal educational and training circumstances. Data from a multi-informant survey conducted to 442 employees in Korean postal service show that a firm's informal educational training has significant effects on its employee creativity. The results indicate that enough high quality of program, various training method have a positive relationship with his/her individual creativity although time and opportunity don't have an critical impact on employee creativity. This study highlights the importance of a firm's informal education in terms of motivation and skills, and helps to explain individual discrepancies in creativity.

  • Studies showed that elementary school students had difficulties in the idea generation for creative problem solving, and they were also not to go through with the verification process for selecting idea. Thus, it may be more effective to provide an actualized idea generation and verification methods. In this study, we developed the creativity problem solving program with the attribute listing and PMI skills in the idea generation and verification stages respectively and applied it to six groups consisting of 5th elementary school students. We analyzed the creativity and the verbal interactions among the students at the level of interaction units. The analyses of the results revealed that the problem solving program with the creative thinking skills had significant effects on the fluency and originality that were sub-elements consisting creativity. In the analyses of interaction unit, the frequencies of the 'making suggestion' at the idea generation stage were high. And at the idea verification stage, the frequencies of the 'making suggestion' and 'receiving opinion' were high. Educational implications of these findings were discussed.

  • The present cutting-edge industry demands talents with engineering mind that enables them to think and operate in creative manners by themselves while escaping from simple maneuvering activities. Pursuant to the demand of the times, micro-robot manufacturing education at an elementary school level will be an appropriate alternative for developing creativity of children. According to such a need, I designed an effective micro-robot education program for creativity development, and researched it by applying it to the field of education. As a result, in the first place, I could propose teaching-learning material for elementary school for micro-robot manufacturing, Second, I designed a learning program suited to elementary students by dividing it into seven steps. Lastly, there was an improvement in creativity of learners who used the designed teaming program as a result of applying and analyzing the Program.

  • Storycrafting is a creative educational technique in Finland. Since 2011, storytelling approach of mathematics textbooks in South Korea can be regarded as opportunities for interesting learning of mathematics as well as its improper application to mathematics lessons. We need to revise and improve the storytelling method. The purpose of this study is to make a storycrafting program that encourages students to make mathematical stories for themselves and to analyze the effect of the storycrafting program on mathematical creativity and communication. To do so, we developed a storycrafting program of mathematics for sixth graders, which is composed of 33 lessons. And we applied them to one sixth class as experimental group. Through pre-test and post-test, their mathematical creativity and communication were tested. Based on the result of t-test, we can verify the statistical meaningful effect of the storycrafting program. This study contains some conclusions and suggestions.
