인터넷 메신저를 이용한 의사결정 환경에서의 커뮤니케이션패턴에 관한 연구

  • This study identifies communication patterns of groups using Internet Messenger for their group decision-making, and examines how these patterns are associated with creative solutions to problems. Our research suggests that certain communication behavior of groups, when appropriately organized, can be of help in enhancing creative production of outcomes. A qualitative study was conducted on communication patterns based on an analysis of text-based electronic conversation protocols. Specifically this research tried to overcome existing studies on electronic groups by focusing on interactive process of communication among participants. The major study conclusions are: (1) The production of creative outcome may depend on the process or sequence of discussion among group members with Internet Messenger. That is, proper interactive responses and appropriate control of the discussion process are essential to obtain a high level of performance. (2) It is important to make discuss rules based on meta-cognitive and interactive protocols in the early stage. Explicit rules relating to internal group processes as well as communication medium use are even more important to groups with Internet Messenger than face-to-face groups.

  • Education is focused on how to nurture creative problem-solving skills talent in rapidly changing information society. The algorithm education of computer science is effective in improvement of students' logical thinking and problem solving capability. However, the algorithm education is very difficult to teach in elementary students level. Because it is difficult to understand abstract characteristic of algorithm. Therefore we developed educational contents based on the principle of the algorithm for improve students' logical thinking and problem-solving capability in this study. And educational contents contain interesting elements of the game. So, students will be interested in algorithm learning and participate actively through developed educational contents. Furthermore, students' creative problem-solving capability may improve through algorithm learning.

Development of Creative Convergence Talent in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution through Self-Directed Mathematical Competency

  • To combine the science and technology creativity necessary in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, it is necessary to cultivate talents who can discover new knowledge and create new values by combining various knowledge with self-directed mathematical competencies. This research attempted to lay the foundation for the curriculum for fostering future creative convergence talent by preparing, executing, and reflecting on the learning plan after learners themselves understand their level and status through self-directed learning. Firstly, We would like to present a teaching-learning plan based on the essential capabilities of the future society, where the development of a curriculum based on mathematics curriculum and intelligent informatization are accelerated. Secondly, an educational design model system diagram was presented to strengthen the self-directed learning ability of mathematics subjects in the electronic engineering curriculum. Consequently, through a survey, we would like to propose the establishment of an educational system necessary for the 4th industry by analyzing learning ability through self-directed learning teaching methods of subjects related to mathematics, probability, and statistics.

패션 윈도우 디스플레이의 디자인 독창성이 브랜드 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Design Originality in Fashion Window Display on the Attitudes Toward Fashion Brands and the Purchasing Intention)

  • This study was intended to investigate the designs that are displayed on fashion windows, specifically the originality of its designs, from here on noted as "design originality", and the effects it has on the attitudes of consumers toward fashion brands and their purchasing intentions depending on their level of clothing involvement. For the purpose of this study, 10 pictures of creative fashion window display designs from Fifth Avenue in New York were selected and they were shown to 200 college students in Busan in order to collect data for the analysis. The results are as follows: 1) Factor analysis identified four factors that impacted how consumers judged design originality, uniqueness, humor, favorable impression and advanced design. 2) The four factors of design originality in fashion window display significantly affected consumer's evaluation on usefulness of information provided by the window display, attitudes toward fashion brands and purchase intention. 3) The respondents were separated into two groups depending on their level of clothing involvement. Consumers with high level of clothing involvement showed that they were influenced more by the design originality when making purchase decisions. Especially, the uniqueness factor and advanced design factor had more effect on brand attitudes and purchase intention in high level of clothing involvement group. The results revealed that creative fashion window display design are important marketing strategic tools that affect attitudes of consumers toward brands and their purchasing intentions.

초등학교 창의융합교실의 음향성능 조사 (Investigation of acoustic performances of the creative convergence classrooms in elementary schools)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대한민국 학교 교실 중 학교공간혁신사업을 통해 도입된 9세 이하 초등학생이 사용하는 1, 2학년 창의융합교실의 음향성능을 조사하는 것이다. 이를 위해 창의융합교실 3개를 대상으로 음향성능을 측정하였다. 측정된 음향인자는 배경소음, 잔향시간(Reverberation Time, RT), 음성명료도(D50), 음성전달지수(Speech Transmission Index, STI) 및 양이간 상호상관도(Inter-Aural Cross Correlation, IACC)였다. 또한 벽체의 차음성능분석을 위해 투과손실(Transmission Loss, TL), 표준화음압레벨차(DnT) 등을 측정하였고, 교실의 문과 창문의 개폐 여부에 따른 소음레벨을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 배경소음은 공조기를 가동하지 않았을 때 평균 28.0 dB(A) ~ 32.8 dB(A)로 나타났으며 잔향시간은 0.6 s를 초과하지 않았다. 다양한 책상 배치에 따라 양이간 상호상관도(IACC)에 차이가 나타났는데, 중심선과 음원 근처 좌석에서 IACC 값이 높게 나타났다. 특히 음원을 정면으로 바라보는 중심선의 좌석에서 더 높은 IACC가 측정되었다. 문과 창문의 개폐에 따른 교실 내 소음레벨은 모든 창문과 문을 열었을 때와 복도측 창문과 문을 열었을 때 기준을 초과하였다.

학생들의 과학긍정경험에 영향을 주는 과학교육 선도학교 특성에 대한 질적 탐구 (Qualitative Inquiry of Features of Science Education Leading Schools on Students' Positive Experiences about Science)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of science leading schools on primary and middle school students' positive experiences about science (PES) through in-depth interviews with teachers in charge of science leading schools. Science leading schools at the primary and middle school level such as Creative Convergent Science Labs and Student Participatory Science Classes were investigated and 11 teachers were participated in focus group interviews. Teacher in-depth interviews were conducted to explore the factors that led to the effectiveness of science leading schools in improving the student's PES in light of operational characteristics of science leading schools, characteristic factors of science leading schools on students PES, and improvement plans and requirements of science leading schools, as well as implications for general high schools. Science leading schools including Creative Convergent Science Labs and Student Participatory Science Classes applied for the leading school funding to secure supplies, equipments, and lab improvement for authentic science classes. In addition, reconstructed the curriculum more broadly than before, and emphasized and expanded student participatory classes and process-centered assessment at the teacher learning community level. Through student-participatory classes, the science leading schools stimulate students' interest in science, provide students with PES) through various instructions including projects, engage students in interesting science experiences in Creative Convergent Science Labs, and enhance inquiry skills and PES as well as science content knowledge. Based on the results, ways to spread the characteristics of science leading schools to general schools are suggested including expanding budget support, securing the space of science labs and improving spatial composition, providing diverse teaching and learning materials, diversifying assessment subjects and methods, and the necessity of teachers' continuous professional development, etc.

미디어를 활용한 글쓰기가 창의융합 역량 증진에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Writing Using Media on the Promotion of Creative Convergence Capacity)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 미디어를 활용한 글쓰기가 창의융합 역량을 증진시키는 지 알아보기 위한 단일군 전후설계의 원시실험연구이다. C시 C대학교 대학생 30명을 2020년 3월 1일부터 7월 15일까지 자료수집 하였다. IBM SPSS 25.0으로 빈도와 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, paired t-test로 분석하였다. 창의적 문제해결력은 평균 0.63점 향상(p<.001), 비판적 사고성향은 1.06점 향상(p<.001), 셀프리더십은 0.53점 향상(p<.001), 자기통제력은 평균 0.51점 향상되어 통계적으로 유의하였다(p=.001). 본 연구를 통해 미디어를 활용한 글쓰기가 창의융합 역량을 향상시키는 효과가 있었다. 이는 현 세대의 대학생들에게 창의융합 역량 향상을 위한 교육프로그램 개발에 기초자료로 활용되어 질 것으로 기대한다. 또한 웹 미디어를 글쓰기 수업의 텍스트와 도구로 동시에 활용하여 글쓰기 교육 효과에 대한 반복적인 연구가 필요하며 미디어를 활용한 대학생의 맞춤형 글쓰기 교육이 요구된다.

수행평가를 활용한 영재 판별 (An Applicaton of Performance Assessment for the Identification of Gifted and Talented Students)

  • The paper-and-pencil multiplce choise test has been widely used to identify gifted and talented student in Korea. Such test have several drawbacks; such~a s not being able to assess creative problem solving abilities and high level thinking abilities which are important characteristics of gifted students. The Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) developed a performance assessment which challenged traditional methods of identification. The 5-day summer camp was held to select gifted students for the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy. 211 students were evaluated in the aspects of creative problem solving abilities, high level thinking abilities, task commitments, and cooperativeness with various performance tasks, such as essay tests, conversations, oral examinations, computer simulations, puzzles, experiments, group discussions, debates, research reports, and games. As a result, it was found that there were several limitations of the performance assessment in terms of low reliability, requiring high costs and many professionals, and taking long times and large spaces. 캡스톤 디자인 수업에서 개인 능력을 반영하는 공정한 평가 방법 (Fair Assessment Method Reflecting Individual Ability in Capstone Design Course)

  • Capstone design is a subject taught in a setting where students gather in a team, decide on their own selected topic, and collaborate with one another to perform a project. A fair assessment is very important in a team project-based capstone design course for students. Many instructors agree that harmonizing creative evaluation and outcome assessment is hard in capstone design class. In also, it is not easy to assess students' individual efforts and achievements fairly in accordance with team-based assessment practices. To resolve this issue in this paper, we have surveyed various engineering design education methodologies, and have modelled existing evaluating elements into a modified creative process and outcome assessment framework for team project assessment. In particular, we focused on a method of fairly assigning credits by combining team based and individual-level assessments. Analyzing students' achievement and grade evaluation and verifying the validity of the proposed method was performed.

  • High expression of osmotically responsive genes1 (HOS1), a key regulator of low temperature response and flowering time, encodes an E3 ubiquitin ligase in Arabidopsis. Here, we report characterization of a newly identified splice variant (HOS1-L) of HOS1. Comparative analyses revealed that HOS1-L has a longer 5' nucleotide sequence than that of the previously identified HOS1 (HOS1-S) and that its protein sequence was more conserved than that of HOS1-S in plants. HOS1-L transcripts were spatio-temporally more abundant than those of HOS1-S. The recovery rate of HOS1-S expression was faster than that of HOS1-L after cold treatment. Diurnal oscillation patterns of HOS1-L revealed that HOS1-L expression was affected by photoperiod. An in vitro pull-down assay revealed that the HOS1-L protein interacted with the ICE1 protein. HOS1-L overexpression caused delayed flowering in wild-type plants. Collectively, these results suggest regulation of HOS1 expression at the post-transcriptional level.
