STEAM 수업에서 나타난 초등학생의 창의적 설계 과정 질적 분석 (Qualitative Analysis of the Creative Design Process of Elementary School Students in STEAM Class)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the character of the creative design processes that appear at the creative design stage of the design thinking based on STEAM class and what factors affect the creative design process. Students who served as the subjects of this study were 4 elementary school students. We developed the design thinking based on STEAM program to look more specific the creative design process. The project was conducted with a total of 12 sheets of paper materials. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the problem solving process of the design thinking based on STEAM classes is not anticipatory and is cyclical and complex. So, teachers should provide sufficient time for students to create and simulate ideas and accept the solving problems through trial and error. Second, Having presented the STEAM class as a practical problem in the real world, there was less fear of students' failure and heightened motivation and enthusiasm. Providing with the real topic and open questions in classrooms can lead to students' voluntary participation in the classroom. Third, In the design thinking based on STEAM class, students develop concrete ideas through visualization courses. The group of students made the best solutions through communication.

어린이집 교사의 창의적 인성이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향에서 스트레스 대처전략의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Stress-coping Strategies of Childcare Teachers' Creative Personality on Teacher Efficacy)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of stress-coping strategies of childcare teachers' creative personality on teacher efficacy. Methods: Study subjects were 204 childcare teachers working at nursery schools located in S city of Gyeonggi province, and this study collected materials from childcare teachers through a self-report survey. For materials collected, this study conducted frequency analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using spss 21.0, and verified the mediating effect through the Sobel Test. Results of this study are as follows. Results: First, there was a positive correlation among creative personality, teacher efficacy and stress-coping strategies. Second, results show that stress-coping strategies mediate the effect of childcare teachers' creative personality on teacher efficacy. Lastly, problem-focused coping strategies turned out to be full mediation, whereas coping strategies seeking social support was partial mediation. Conclusion: Based on the results, this study suggested the necessity to prepare a practical plan for enabling childcare teachers to use stress-coping strategies in a successful way.

공학분야 대학생의 창의적 문제해결에 영향을 미치는 지식융합 변인의 구조적 관계 분석 (Analysis of Structural Relationships Among Predictors of Creative Problem Solving in Engineering)

  • This study examined the impact of variables(collaboration, convergence motive, convergence thinking) on the creativity problem solving of engineering college students. 522 students among engineering colleges in Pusan and Ulsan were sampled. For the statistical analysis, analysis of covariance structure by AMOS 18.0 was applied. Results from structural equation modeling analyses indicated that a hypothesized model produced a better fit to the data than a comparative structural model. The hypothesized model shows the following results. On the basis of the hypothesized model, collaboration effected to directly convergence motive and creative problem solving, and convergence motive effected to directly convergence thinking, convergence motive effected to directly creative problem solving, convergence thinking effected to directly creative problem solving, and collaboration effected to indirectly convergence thinking by convergence motive. Therefore this study suggested the collaboration, convergence motive and convergence thinking are significantly variables to facilitate the creative problem solving for knowledge fusion in engineering.

패션디자인 개발 직무에 적합한 발상법 연구 (Study on Derivation of Creative Thinking Techniques for the Fashion Design Development Task)

  • The objective of this study was to derive a list of creative thinking techniques applied with the requirements of the appropriate technique for the task of fashion design development among the process of fashion product planning. This was done through the analysis of thinking techniques by the type of thinking and idea method. Also, the study presented how each creative thinking technique derived is applied to the task of developing fashion design. The scope of the study was 'Fashion Design Development Task', which corresponds to the design sketch of a fashion item based on the seasonal design concept derived through the fashion design planning stage. Research on the thinking techniques consisted largely of the process of idea thinking, the elements of creative thinking, the patterns and types of thinking. Four studies by Makoto, Michalko, De Bono, and Cox suggesting that the patterns and types of thinking techniques were analyzed for the purpose of this study as empirical studies through FGI of a group of five fashion experts. The analysis results showed that the thinking techniques suitable for the development of fashion design were derived from the technique of fractionation, attributive listing, scamper, morphological analysis, mind mapping, lotus blossom, pattern language, provocative operation, and forced connection. In particular, it can be confirmed that the scamper was treated as an efficient and practical technique in the many studies.

작업선호도, 자아효능감이 간호대학생의 창의적 리더십에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Work Preference and Self-efficacy on Creative Leadership of Nursing Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 개인적, 사회적, 문제해결적 리더십의 총체인 창의적 리더십 발현에 작업선호도 즉, 내적·외적동기와 자아효능감이 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 실시되었다. 연구를 위해 G시의 간호대학 학생들 195명을 대상으로 Amabile의 작업 선호도 검사, 자아효능감 검사, 창의적 리더십 검사가 진행되었으며 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 통해 상관분석과 회귀분석의 방법이 실시되었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 창의적 리더십은 내적동기와 자아효능감과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, 상관관계에서 유의한 차이를 나타낸 요인들을 중심으로 다중회귀 분석을 실시한 결과, 창의적 리더십에 영향을 주는 요인은 자아효능감과 내적동기로 나타났으며, 60.0%의 설명력을 나타내었다. 창의적 리더십 향상을 위해 자아효능감을 향상시킬 필요가 있으며, 내적 동기를 강화시키는 것이 중요함을 알 수 있었다.

창의적 행동특성과 놀이성, 상호작용적 또래놀이, 교사-유아관계 간의 구조분석 (Analysis of Causal Relationships among Playfulness, Interactive Peer Play, Teacher-Child Relations and Creative Characteristics)

  • Subjects in this study on causal relationships among playfulness, interactive peer play, teacher-child relationships, and creative characteristics were 286 3- to 5-year-old children. Instruments were the Rating Scale for Creative Characteristic of Preschoolers (Lee et al., 2002), Children's Playfulness Scale (Bemett, 1990), Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale (Fantuzzo et al., 1995), and Student Teacher Relationship Scale (Pianta, 1991). Results showed : (1) significant relationships among social spontaneous, cognitive spontaneous and children's humor in sub-areas of children's playfulness, friendliness in sub-areas of teacher-child relationships, play interaction in sub-areas of interactive peer play and creative characteristics. (2) Children's creative characteristics directly influenced social spontaneous, cognitive spontaneous and children's humor in sub-areas of children's playfulness and of play interaction in sub-areas of interactive peer play.

유아의 창의적 군집유형에 따른 언어능력, 인지능력 및 또래관계에서의 차이 (Preschoolers' Language Ability, Cognitive Ability, and Peer Relationships by Creative Thinking Group)

  • Objective: This study explored the creative thinking styles of children according to cluster analyses and examined group differences in language ability, cognitive ability, and peer relationships. Methods: The study used the data from the 2012 Panel Study of Korean Children by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The participants comprised 1,681 4-year-olds. Data were analyzed via cluster analyses, ${\chi}^2$ distributions, and ANOVA tests. Results and Conclusion: The results from the cluster analyses based on percentiles of the subfactors of K-FCTYC (Korean Figural Creativity Test for Young Children) indicated four clusters: "divergent creative with openness," "non-creative," "divergent creative," and "multiple creative." Additionally, the four clusters differed by gender, language ability, cognitive ability, and peer relationships.

Development of a Creative Robot School Program for Motivating Elementary School Students

  • This article presents program development and analysis of a creative robot school for elementary school at the local university. The purpose of opening the creative robot school is to give motivation to children for having interests in science and engineering at their young ages. The creative robot school program is developed by using facilities of a local university to spread scientific knowledge to young children in their communities to draw their interests in science as well as an engineering field for future careers. Since the robot system is a popular subject to draw attention of children and has a relation with Mechatronics Engineering, a program related with robots is selected for educating children. College students are also involved in helping children to build robots within a given time. Experiences and self-evaluations from the previously held creative robot schools at Chungnam National University(CNU) are presented to share with.

창조적 혁신을 위한 국가연구개발사업 연구추진체제의 설계 : 창의적연구진흥사업 사례 (Research System Design for Creative Innovation in the National R&D Program : The Case of Creative Research Initiatives in Korea)

  • This study addresses the question of how to design the research system for national R&D programs that aim to promote creative innovation. This paper attempts to analyze the case of Creative Research Initiatives(CRI), a new national R&D program recently launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Korea. CRI is a strategic program intended to shift the national R&D paradigm from imitative innovation to creative innovation. The key features of the research system of the program include: a research-centered system, long-term research funding, the sunset approach, a dynamic and flexible research organization, and a centralized research system. This paper suggests theoretical rational of these key features based on the literature review on creative innovation. Based on an analysis of the results of implementing the CRI in 1997, this paper also examines how the research system design is reflected and embodied in the program implementation process. Finally, policy implications and future research directions are also discussed.

  • 최근 공학교육에서 창의성과 문제해결능력의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 특히 많은 창의적 문제해결방법 중에 실무와 교육에 있어서 실용성이나 적용가능성을 고려한 학습 모델에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 트리즈 모순분석을 활용하여 창의적 사고 강화와 문제해결능력 배양을 위한 교수학습 모델을 개발하고 그 효과를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 공과 대학 1학년 대상의 창의공학설계 교과목을 통해 창의적 공학설계의 기초지식을 학습하고, 트리즈의 모순분석을 활용하여 아이디어 창출과 해결방법을 도출할 수 있도록 유도하였다. 제안한 교수학습모델의 교육에 대한 실효성을 검증하기 위하여 설문조사를 분석한 결과, 평균 89점의 긍정적인 응답을 얻음으로써 본 교육에 대한 효과성을 확인하였다. 향후 제안된 학습 모델을 다양한 교과에 적용할 수 있도록 개선된 응용 모델에 대한 연구가 요구된다.
