가정건강성 평가도구 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Evaluation Scale for Health-Grade of Families)

  • This study was designed to develop the evaluation scale for health-grade of families. For this goal the related references and the programs of Healthy-Families-Center were analyzed. In the context with the goals and objects of programs in Healthy-Families-Center the index for the evaluation the health-grade of families was deducted. And the concrete items of health-grade of families in 3 parts(R: relation, M: management, E: environment) was discussed. In order to verify the validity and significance of the scale the survey for 200 samples was performed and the data from 191 samples was statistically analyzed. We suggested the application methods of this evaluation scale for health-grade of families. So the 8 types of families were came out: RME, RMe, RmE, rME, Rme, rMe, rmE, rme. Using this type of families the consulting and counselling for the enhancement of health-grade can be developed. We reached the conclusion that this evaluation scale has to be continuously developed and eleborated because the health-grade of families is one of the most important index for the effect of programs of Healthy Families Center.

부부갈등이 아동의 공격성에 미치는 영향: 부부공동양육의 매개효과 (Influence of Marital Conflict on Children's Aggression: The Mediation Effect of Co-Parenting)

  • This study examines the relation of marital conflict, co-parenting, and children's aggression and the mediating role of co-parenting between marital conflict and children's aggression. Participants consisted of 380 elementary school fifth, sixth graders (152 male and 228 female students) and their mothers from Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do. Children completed questionnaires on marital conflict and the mothers completed questionnaires on co-parenting and children's aggression. The collected data were analyzed using basic descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. The Baron and Kenny's method was used to determine the mediating model's significance. It was adapted to SPSS ver. 20.0 for Windows. The major findings were as follows: first, the marital conflict (intensity/resolution) positively influenced children's aggression. Second, supportive co-parenting negatively influenced children's aggression. In addition, the marital conflict (frequency/resolution) negatively influenced co-parenting. Co-parenting (supportive/reprehensive) also played a perfectly mediating role between marital conflict and children's aggression. Marital conflict had an indirect influence through co-parenting on the children's aggression. The results indicate that co-parenting plays a crucial role in the relationship between marital conflict and children's aggression.

어머니가 지각한 학령전기 아동의 기질과 관련 요인 (Mothers' Perceived Temperament of Their Preschoolers and its Related Factors)

  • This descriptive study was conducted to explore the mothers' perceived temperament of their preschoolers, and its related factors. Survey from 212 mothers of preschoolers residing in Seoul, Daejeon, and Suwon was performed, and Schaefer's MBRI(Maternal Behavior Research Instrument), and PTQ(Parent Temperament Questionnaire) by Thomas and Chess, Child-rearing burden instrument by Han were used to collect data from September 15 to October 31, 2002. Data was analyzed with SPSS 10.0 Win program. Summaries of results were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in temperament type-easy or difficult child-depending upon the demographic characteristics. 2. In temperament subscale, boys showed higher activity level than girls, and in working mothers group, adaptability was significantly lower although mood was higher. Preschoolers with expanded families were higher in activity level and intensity of reaction than with nuclear families. 3. Approach-withdrawal, adaptability, and mood showed significant negative relationship with maternal childrearing burden. 4. Temperament showed significant positive or negative relationship with maternal childrearing attitudes. In conclusion, it determined preschoolers' temperament was affected by primary environment such as maternal attitude, childrearing burden, and family type as well as children's gender. It was suggested that parent education and counselling program in nursing would be needed to promote children's desirable temperament.

다속성 빅데이터로부터 유용한 정보 추출에 관한 연구 - 서울시 1인 가구를 중심으로 - (A Study on Extraction of Useful Information from Big dataset of Multi-attributes - Focus on Single Household in Seoul -)

  • This study proposes a data-mining analysis method for examining variable multi-attribute big-data, which is considered to be more applicable in social science using a Correspondence Analysis of variables obtained by AIC model selection. The proposed method was applied on the Seoul Survey from 2005 to 2010 in order to extract interesting rules or patterns on characteristics of single household. The results found as follows. Firstly, this paper illustrated that the proposed method is efficiently able to apply on a big dataset of huge categorical multi attributes variables. Secondly, as a result of Seoul Survey analysis, it has been found that the more dissatisfied with residential environment the higher tendency of residential mobility in single household. Thirdly, it turned out that there are three types of single households based on the characteristics of their demographic characteristics, and it was different from recognition of home and partner of counselling by the three types of single households. Fourthly, this paper extracted eight significant variables with a spatial aggregated dataset which are highly correlated to the ratio of occupancy of single household in 25 Seoul Municipals, and to conclude, it investigated the relation between spatial distribution of single households and their demographic statistics based on the six divided groups obtained by Cluster Analysis.

수·해운계 고등학교 학생들의 학교 교육에 대한 인식 (Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School Students' Perceptions of School Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basics of effective Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School education by analyzing Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School students' perceptions about their educational environment and school education. To achieve the purpose of this research, the study carried out a survey targeting 350 Fisheries and Merchant Marine High School students. The findings are as follows: First, the perceptions about instructions of department is generally positive. And they demand expansion of practice instruction. Second, the perceptions about curriculum is generally positive. And they demand field-experience learning. Third, the perceptions about school management and administration is generally positive. But they dissatisfied with considering their opinion about school management and administration. Fourth, the perceptions about counselling and personality guidance is generally positive. And the efforts to stop school violence are valued most positive. But the satisfaction in club activities is relatively low, so we need to come up with measure to increase club activities.

  • Purpose: This study focused on analysing the performance and the perception of importance about workload of ambulatory nurses and nurse-aides for quality of nursing. Method: The subjects of this study were 126 ambulatory nurses and 117 nurse-aides in 6 secondary and 4 tertiary hospitals. The method of data collection was used the questionnaire. Result: As a result, First, nurses' activities that the performance score is above 3.0 are reception, guidance, reservation, confirm, checking medical record, operating report, explanation of disease, explanation of examination discuss with medical part, discuss with supporting part, solving patient problem environment management, and paper work. And the other side, those of nurse-aides are reception, guidance, reservation, preparation for clinic, assistant for clinic, preparation for examination, material transfer & receipt, confirm, checking medical record, and arrangement. Second, nurses-aids perceive above 3.0 performance score activities to be important for themselves. Finally, nurses perceive three categories of patient education/counselling, patient advocacy and quality improvement to be more important and higher performance when compared with nurse-aides. Conclusions: Ambulatory nurse's important nursing activities are therapeutic care, patient education/counselling, patient advocacy, communication, personal management, quality improvement.

영아의 건강증진을 위한 부모역할교육 프로그램의 효과에 관한 연구 -생후 12개월의 결과를 중심으로- (The Study on the Effects of Parent Role Education Program for infants' health promotion - Focusing on the twelve-months results -)

  • This longitudinal quasi-experimental research was conducted to develop parent role education program and to evaluate the effect of this program for mother-infant interaction, childrearing environment and infant development. The subjects were the healthy infants weighing over 2,500gm at birth, whose gestational age was more than 37weeks, and their healthy mothers. The sample consisted of eighteen mother-infant dyads for intervention group and sixteen dyads for control group. Data were collected from March 15th in 1999 to Jun 20th in 2000. The intervention group received programmed education consisted of discharge education, telephone counselling, and home visiting care. But control group were collected data without programmed education. In this study, the Nursing Child Assessment Teaching Scale(NCATS) devised by Barnard was used to determine the mother-infant interaction, HOME was used to determine the childrearing environment, and Griffiths mental development scale was used to determine the infant development. The data were analyzed using SPSS Win using chi-square test, t-test, and repeated measure ANOVA. This study was focused on the results of twelve months time point. Summaries of the results were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in mother-infant interaction(NCATS) between intervention group and control group. But both of two groups showed significantly higher in interaction score at twelve months than at six months in the subscales of social-emotional growth fostering, and responsiveness to caregiver. 2. There was no significant difference in childrearing environment(HOME) between two groups at twelve months. But when each subscale of HOME was examined, intervention group showed higher scores in the dimensions of maternal involvement with child(p=.001), and maternal emotional-verbal responsivity(p=.048). 3. There was no significant difference in GQ of the Griffiths mental development scale between two groups, although significant difference was found in performance subscale. 4. Infant development at twelve months showed significant correlation with mother-infant interaction and childrearing environment at six months, although mother-infant interaction and childrearing environment at twelve months did not show significant correlations with infant development at twelve months. 5. Developmental scores at six months showed significant correlations with variety in daily stimulation, and mother's emotional, verbal responsivity, whereas developmental scores at twelve months showed significant correlations with acceptance of child behavior at six months, and appropriate play material at twelve months. In conclusion, the maternal education program for primipara showed long term effect in some categories in organizing the childrearing environment, and fostering the infant development. We suggest further study and implications of parent role education program for high risk parents such as parents in low economic status or with premature babies.

농업계 특수전문대학 학생들의 학습 환경에 따른 정신병리 차이와 개인상담의 효과검증 (Differences in Psychopathology and Effectiveness of Individual Counselling According to Learning Environment of Agricultural Specialized College Students)

  • This study is aimed at researching on psychopathological characteristics of agriculture-specialized college students, in a specific educational environment, consulting some students who show maladjusted characteristics, verifying its effects and providing basic data for college life instructions. The complete survey MMPI was conducted for 676 freshmen and juniors attending K agriculture-specialized college located in Jeollabuk-do. To analyze the results, basic statistics, bivariate correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were implemented. The results of this study are as follows; First, the level of overall clinical scale was lower than 50 points, standard point, and freshmen showed higher depression (D), hysteria (Hy) and psychasthenia (Pt) in general. Such results are different from the other study results. It is considered an anxiety in early stage, resulted from a living in a dormitory. For the juniors who came back from one-year practice, anxiety about employment seems little because they are already employed. Second, The effects of personal consultation for maladjusted students were proved (p<.01). The students who got consultation showed improvement effect from 'very bad condition' to 'considerable depression', which is low score. This study has a meaning in preventing from any accident, by screening maladjusted students who are supposed to learn in a specific situation, by relieving their symptoms through consultation and letting them concentrate on learning.

영아기 어머니역할 교육 프로그램이 모아상호작용과 영아발달에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Maternal Role Education Program on the Mother-Infant Interaction and Infant Development)

  • The impact of childhood experience has lifelong significance on subsequent health and development. Especially, the experience of infant is mostly affected by the quality of parental care and rearing environment. But the new mothers usually do not know what to do because of the lack of experience in these days. Therefore, an educational program regarding maternal role would be necessary. This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the maternal role education program for mother-infant interaction, child-rearing environment, and infant development. Non-equivalent control group time-series design was used, and Barnard's mother-infant interaction model was used as a conceptual framework of this study. The subjects were the healthy infants weighing over 2,500gm at birth, whose gestational age was more than 37 weeks, and their mothers. The final sample consisted of 19 mother-infant dyads for intervention group and 18 dyads for control group. Data were collected from March 15th to September 3rd in 1999. For the intervention group, programmed education which focused on mother-infant interaction, breast feeding, and infant care was provided before discharge. Telephone counselling was provided within one week after discharge. Home visiting for maternal role education was provided twice, one month and three months postpartum. For the control group, home visiting was also conducted but only for data collection. The data were analyzed using chi-square test and t-test to test the equivalence of two groups, and the effectiveness of intervention program was determined with repeated measure ANCOVA and t-test. The results were as follows: 1. Significant differences were found in mother-infant interaction between two groups(p=.000). It indicates that intervention program was effective in improving mother- infant interaction. In subscale analysis, four out of six subscale showed significant differences between the groups: sensitivity to cues (p=.000), social-emotional growth fostering (p=.000), cognitive growth fostering(p=.000) in mothers, and responsiveness to caregiver (p=.019) in infants. 2. The difference in the mean score of childrearing environment (HOME) between the intervention group and control group was significant(p=.003). When each subscale of HOME was examined individually, intervention group showed significantly higher scores in the diversity of stimulation(p=.000), and mother's involvement(p=.001). 3. Three-month-Infants of the intervention group showed higher GQ in the Griffiths mental development scale(p=.026). In subscale analysis, significant differences were found in the personal-social(p=.005), and the hearing and speech(p=.003). In conclusion, the maternal role education program proved to be effective in promoting the mother-infant interaction, organizing the childrearing environment, and fostering the infant development. These results are very meaningful that we found maternal role education necessary for normal infants' mothers, and that nurses can make a great contribution in promoting health of infants and mothers.

This study was a prospective longitudinal reseach developing parent role education program and evaluating the effectiveness of this program for mother-infant interaction, childrearing environment and infant development. The sample consisted of 19 mother-infant dyads for intervention group and 18 dyads for control group. Data were collected from March 15th to December 14th in 1999. For the intervention group received programmed education that was consisted of discharge education, telephone counselling, and home visiting for maternal education. The data were analyzed using chi-square test and t-test to test the equivalence of two groups, and the effectiveness of intervention program. This study was focused on the results of six months time point. The results were as follows: 1. There was significant difference in the mean score of mother-infant interaction(NCAST) between two groups. Intervention group showed higher scores in the subscales of sensitivity to cues, cognitive growth fostering, and caregiver total. 2. There was no significant difference in the mean score of child rearing environment (HOME) between two groups of six-month-infants. But when each subscale of HOME was examined, intervention group showed higher scores in the dimensions of opportunities for variety in daily stimulation, maternal involvement with child, and emotional, verbal response. 3. Six-month-infants of the intervention group showed significantly higher GQ in the Griffiths mental development scale. In conclusion, the maternal education program was effective in promoting the mother-infant interaction, organizing the childrearing environment, and fostering the infant development. These results were very meaningful that we found parent role education necessary for normal infants' mothers, and nurses can make a great contribution in promoting health of infants and mothers.
