대학생들의 탄산수 효능에 대한 인식과 지식이 섭취 행태 및 만족도에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Awareness and Knowledge of Carbonated Water on Consumption Pattern and Satisfaction among College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of awareness and knowledge of the efficacy of carbonated water on consumption patterns and satisfaction for college students, who are the principal consumers of carbonated water. A survey was conducted with 502 college students in the Metropolitan area from May 13 to 18, 2015 and 455 questionnaires were analyzed. As for the differences in awareness and knowledge of the efficacy of carbonated water according to gender, females (14.60 and 0.76) had better awareness and knowledge than males (13.40 and 0.58) (p=0.000 and p=0.036). The more positive the awareness of carbonated water, the greater the knowledge (p=0.000); the greater the knowledge of carbonated water, the higher level of consumption satisfaction (p=0.006). The odds ratio of awareness for carbonated water was 11.98; that is, positive awareness led to higher levels of satisfaction than negative awareness (p=0.003). Since awareness of the efficacy of carbonated water was found to affect carbonated water drinking and satisfaction, it is necessary to provide correct information about the efficacy of carbonated water.

CVP 분석을 이용한 면허어업 손실보상액 평가 모형의 도출 (The Derivation of a Model to Estimate Compensation for Damages in Chartered Fisheries by Using CVP Analysis)

  • During the last several decades, Korea has been regarded as one of the fastest growing economies in the world. However, the small size of national land has not met the vigorous demand for land necessary to develop economic infra-structures such as large-scale harbors airports and highways. In order to satisfy the growing demand for land, the Korean government and industry have implemented the national land development programs to reclaim land from the sea fur the several decades. It is certain that these land development programs have resulted in a lot of property disputes between fishermen and public project administrators. This paper is to develop a quantitative model to estimate compensation for damages or restriction of charted fisheries resulting from large-scale public projects. In this paper, the compensation model is derived by using cost-volume-profit analysis framework because the compensation for charted fisheries basically depends on the factors such as the costs, production volume, profit of charted fisheries damaged or restricted by public projects. The model shows that the compensation for damages or restriction of charted fisheries is determined by the average annual profit, damage duration period, and the degree of fishery damages. In addition, the degree of fishery damages measured by the ratio of lost profit to annual average profit turns out to be determined by the following factors: annul profit, unit variable cost, decrease in production volume, the rate of increase in variable cost, and a change in fixed cost. Furthermore, this parer discusses the nam issues related to practices and regulation of the compensation for fishery damages in the current Fishery Act of Korea and suggests some appraisal methods which will be able to lead to theoretically correct and fair compensation for fisheries damages resulting from large-scale public projects.

급회전을 이용한 희생자의 추격 피하기 행동 분석 (Analysis of Behaviour of Prey to avoid Pursuit using Quick Rotation)

  • 본 논문은 동물들의 집단행동에서 나타나는 포식자-희생자 관계에서 포식자에 대한 희생자의 추격회피 행동을 분석한다. 희생자가 포식자의 추격을 피하는 하나의 방법이 인접거리에서 급회전을 하는 것이다. 그때 희생자가 추격으로부터 살아남기 위해서는 임계거리와 회전각은 매우 중요하다. 여기서 임계거리는 회전 시작 직전 포식자와 희생자 사이의 거리이다. 이러한 임계거리와 회전각을 분석하기 위하여 본 논문은 추격의 시작에서 보유한 포식자의 에너지와 추격동안 소비한 포식자의 에너지를 이용한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 임계거리가 짧을수록 희생자가 추격으로부터 살아남을 수 있는 회전각은 커진다는 것과 포식자의 질량에 대한 희생자의 질량의 비율이 작아지는 경우에도 역시 회전각 커진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 자연에서 나타나는 현상과 유사하며, 따라서 이것은 본 논문에서 분석한 방법이 옳다는 것을 의미한다.

지진기록계 보정과 힐버트 변환 적용에 의한 센서 주파수 응답 계산 (Derivation the Correction of the Component of the Recorder and the Application of Hilbert Transformation to Calculating the Frequency Response of the Sensor)

  • 신규 센서의 성능과 노후화된 센서의 성능 평가를 하는 것은 지진 감시 및 지진연구에 있어서 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 특히 센서 주파수 응답은 지진자료의 보정을 위해서 필수적으로 사용되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 주파수 스펙트럼비를 이용한 지진 기록계의 보정 방법과 시간영역 대역통과필터(bandpass filter)와 힐버트(Hilbert) 변환을 이용한 지진계 주파수 응답을 계산하는 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 실내 진동대 실험에서 가속도 센서(CMG-5T 1g, 2g 센서)를 설치하고 제안된 방법으로 센서 주파수 응답스펙트럼을 구하였을 때 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 2011년 도호쿠 대지진에 대하여 서울대학교 관측소(SNU)의 STS-2와 ES-T에서 얻어진 자료에 대하여 제안된 방법을 적용한 결과 STS-2 광대역 센서의 저주파수 대역에 대한 주파수 응답을 얻을 수 있었다. 대역통과필터와 힐버트 변환 방법을 이용할 경우, 주파수 스펙트럼비를 이용한 방법보다 신호대 잡음이 낮은 부분에서도 명확한 주파수 응답스펙트럼을 보여주었다.

태양열 집광기의 초점 지역에 형성된 플럭스 밀도 분포의 특성 (An Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Flux Density Distributions in the Focal Region of a Solar Concentrator)

  • This experimental study represents the results of an analysis on the characteristics of flux density distributions in the focal region of solar concentrator. The characteristics of flux density distributions are investigated to optimally design and position a cavity receiver. This deemed very useful to find and correct various errors associated with a dish concentrator. We estimated the flux density distribution on the target placed along with focal lengths from the dish vertex to experimentally determine the focal length. It is observed that the actual focal point exists when the focal length is 2.17 m. We also evaluated the position of flux centroid, and it was found that there were errors within 2 cm from the target center. The total integrated power of 2467 W was measured under focal flux distributions, which corresponds to the intercept rate of 85.8%. As a result of the percent power within radius, approximately 90% of the incident radiation is intercepted by about 0.06 m radius.

Korean Regional Mortality Differences According to Geographic Location

  • Objectives: To examine the regional mortality differences in The Republic of Korea according to geographic location. Methods: All 232 administrative districts of the Republic of Korea in 1998 were studied according to their geographic locations by dividing each district into three categories; "metropolis," "urban," and "rural". Crude mortality rates for doth sexes from total deaths as well as the three major causes of death in Korea (cardiovascular disease, cancer, and external causes) were calculated with raw data from the "1998 report on the causes of death statistics" and resident registration data. Standardized mortality ratios (SMR) were calculated using the indirect standardization method. Poisson regression analyses were performed to examine the effects of geographic locations on the risk of death. To correct for the socioeconomic differences of each region, the percentage of old ($\geq$ 65 years old) population, the number of privately owned cars per 100 population, and per capita manufacturing production industries were included in the model. Results: Most SMRs were the lowest in the metropolis and the highest in the rural areas. These differences were more prominent in men and in deaths from external causes. In deaths from cancer in women, the rural region showed the lowest SMR. In Poisson regression analysis after correcting for regional socioeconomic differences, the risk of death from all causes significantly increased in both urban (OR=1.111) and rural (OR=1.100) regions, except for rural women, compared to the metropolis region. In men, the rural region showed higher risk (OR=1.180) than the urban region (OR=1.l51). For cardiovascular disease and cancer, significant differences were not found between geographic locations, except in urban women for cardiovascular disease (OR=1.151) and in rural women for cancer (OR=0.887), compared to metropolis women. In deaths from external causes, the risk ratios significantly increased in both urban and rural regions and an increasing tendency from the metropolis to the rural region was clearly observed in both sexes. Conclusions: Regional mortality differences according to geographic location exist in The Republic of Korea and further research and policy approaches to reduce these differences are needed. to reduce these differences are needed.

  • This paper presents a rotating ann test for assessment of an underwater hybrid navigation system for a semi-autonomous underwater vehicle. The navigation system consists of an inertial measurement unit (IMU), an ultra-short baseline (USBL) acoustic navigation sensor and a doppler velocity log (DVL) accompanying a magnetic compass. The errors of inertial measurement units increase with time due to the bias errors of gyros and accelerometers. A navigational system model is derived to include the error model of the USBL acoustic navigation sensor and the scale effect and bias errors of the DVL, of which the state equation composed of the navigation states and sensor parameters is 25 in the order. The conventional extended Kalman filter was used to propagate the error covariance, update the measurement errors and correct the state equation when the measurements are available. The rotating ann tests are conducted in the Ocean Engineering Basin of KRISO, KORDI to generate circular motion in laboratory, where the USBL system was absent in the basin. The hybrid underwater navigation system shows good tracking performance against the circular planar motion. Additionally this paper checked the effects of the sampling ratio of the navigation system and the possibility of the dead reckoning with the DVL and the magnetic compass to estimate the position of the vehicle.

PLS와 SVM복합 알고리즘을 이용한 식각 종료점 검출 (Endpoint Detection Using Hybrid Algorithm of PLS and SVM)

  • In semiconductor wafer fabrication, etching is one of the most critical processes, by which a material layer is selectively removed. Because of difficulty to correct a mistake caused by over etching, it is critical that etch should be performed correctly. This paper proposes a new approach for etch endpoint detection of small open area wafers. The traditional endpoint detection technique uses a few manually selected wavelengths, which are adequate for large open areas. As the integrated circuit devices continue to shrink in geometry and increase in device density, detecting the endpoint for small open areas presents a serious challenge to process engineers. In this work, a high-resolution optical emission spectroscopy (OES) sensor is used to provide the necessary sensitivity for detecting subtle endpoint signal. Partial Least Squares (PLS) method is used to analyze the OES data which reduces dimension of the data and increases gap between classes. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is employed to detect endpoint using the data after PLS. SVM classifies normal etching state and after endpoint state. Two data sets from OES are used in training PLS and SVM. The other data sets are used to test the performance of the model. The results show that the trained PLS and SVM hybrid algorithm model detects endpoint accurately.

수학과 국가수준 학업성취도 평가에서의 성별 차이 분석 (An Analysis of the Gender Difference in National Assessment of Educational Achievement of Mathematics)

  • 이 논문은 2004년부터 2006년까지 우리나라의 초등학교 6학년, 중학교 3학년, 고등학교 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 실시된 국가수준 학업성취도 평가 분석 결과 나타난 수학과 성취도의 성별 차이를 분석하고 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 성별에 따라 수학성취도 결과가 어떠한 양상으로 나타나는지 전체 검사점수(척도점수)의 성차와 문항 정답률의 성차를 통해 연도별, 학교급별, 내용 영역별 특징을 살펴본다. 더 나아가 남녀 학생 간 성취도 차이가 크게 나타난 문항내용의 심층 분석을 통해 다양한 측면에서 성별 성취도 차이의 원인을 분석한다.

Scattering법을 이용한 BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ 청색형광체의 구조와 발광특성 연구 (A Study of the Structure and Luminescence Properly of BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ Blue Phosphor using Scattering Method)

  • A phosphor for Plasma Display Panel, BaMgAl$_{10}$ O$_{17}$ :Eu$^{2+}$, showing a blue emission band at about 450nm was prepared by a solid-state reaction using BaCO$_3$, $Al_2$O$_3$, MgO, Eu$_2$O$_3$ as starting materials wish flux AlF$_3$. The study of the behaviour of Eu in BAM phosphor was carried out by the photoluminescence spectra and the Rietveld method with X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data to refine the structural parameters such as lattice constants, the valence state of Eu, the preferential site of Mg atom and the site fraction of each atom. The phenomenon of the concentration quenching was abound 2.25~2.3wt% of Eu due to a decrease in the critical distance for energy transfer of inter-atomic Eu. Through the combined Rietveld refinement, R-factor, R$_{wp}$, was 8.11%, and the occupancy of Eu and Mg was 0.0882 and 0.526 at critical concentration. The critical distance of Eu$^{2+}$ in BAM was 18.8$\AA$ at 2.25% Eu of the concentration quenching. Furthermore, c/a ratio was decreased to 3.0wt% and no more change was observed over that concentration. The maximum entropy electron density was found that the modeling of $\beta$-alumina structure in BaMgAl$_{10}$ O$_{17}$ :Eu$^{2+}$correct coincided showing Ba, Eu, O atoms of z= 1/4 mirror plane.e.ane.e.
