Strategic Marketing Planning in the Corporate Library Environment (기업정보 센터의 마케팅 전략 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the change of the corporate business environment, corporate libraries have to redesign their services and prove their significance of existence within their companies. Corporate libraries have to maintain their existence by developing new information services and new users. Just as enterprises doing marketing for survival, corporate libraries have to do the same marketing. This paper examines the necessity of a marketing strategy in corporate libraries, marketing planning, marketing mix, and other marketing strategies. The marketing strategy of one corporate library is analyzed here.

  • The present research relates to a study on how cultural marketing increases a corporate image and has effects on purchase intention, an object of which is to understand how a consumer perceives the image of the corporate that carried out the cultural marketing and the corporate image has effects on intention of buying products of the corporate. The research was made on 102 university students from Seoul and Choong-Chung Do and compensated by PLS(Partial Least Square)in consideration that it is not well unknown to common people and the number of those questioned is small, and the case of Kumho Asiana was selected as the corporate for the cultural marketing, which results in as follows. First, the cultural marketing has positive effects on three elements(business conduct, social conduct, and marketing image) of the corporate image, but gives an inconvincible explanation of the corporate reliability image. Second, among four corporate images, social conduct, corporate reliability and marketing image except the business conductor have positive effects on the purchase intention.

Persuasion Effects of Corporate Sports Marketing Strategy on the Corporate Image : Focused on the Moderating Effect of Origin Perception and Corporate Reputation (기업의 스포츠마케팅 전략에 따른 기업이미지 설득효과 : 원산지 인식과 기업평판의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine whether corporate sports marketing strategy using professional teams changes corporate image. In particular, this study was intended to analyze the effects of origin and corporate reputation on the change of corporate image in the process of persuading corporate image. Finally 211 effect data were secured by pre-test and post-test. The change of corporate image and the moderating effect of origin perception and corporate reputation were analyzed. The results were as follows. First, corporate trust image and social contribution image showed statistically significant increase. Second, corporate image had a difference before and after the test according to origin perception and after the test, corporate trust image and social contribution image were increased. Third, corporate image had a difference before and after the test according to corporate reputation. After the test, corporate trust image and social contribution image were increased and trust image confirmed the mediating effect according to corporate reputation. Based on the findings, this study suggests that corporate sports marketing strategy using professional teams has an effect on the persuasion of corporate image. Moreover, it demonstrates that the strategy is an important marketing tool to change consumers' corporate image.

A Study of Social Responsibility and Cultural Marketing of Korean Casual Brands (캐주얼 브랜드의 사회적 책임과 문화마케팅에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influences of social responsibility and culture marketing on corporate image and brand equity in the casual wear market. In addition, whether corporate image and brand equity have impact on purchase intention is investigated among high school students in a local area. Two casual brands, Polham and Tate are selected for this study. The data are collected from male and female adolescents living in a local area with convenience sampling method. A total of 402 useful data are analyzed by SPSS 14.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. First, there are significant relationships among corporate social responsibility, culture marketing, corporate image, and brand equity of two brands. Second, environmental cultural support, social contribution, and economical responsibility of CSR present positive influences on corporate image and brand equity in common between two brands. Especially environmental cultural support of fashion business is highly important to improve corporate image and brand equity. Third, cultural direction and cultural business marketing are more influential than cultural sales promotion or cultural support marketing to improve corporate image and brand equity. Fourth, corporate image does not have a direct influence on the purchase intention, but brand equity factors show significant influences on the purchase intention. In conclusion, fashion companies should commit to perform corporate social responsibility and culture marketing that are suitable to target market for the long term, since these efforts would improve corporate image and build brand equity.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how recently fashion corporate did use SNS applications for their product promotion strategies as case studies, and to provide what kinds of SNS marketing strategies would be developed for fashion corporate. Specifically, this study was focused on Twitter among SNS applications. For this study, Internet webs, news paper, articles, and other press work were used for resources. Five fashion corporate such as Buckaroo, MLB, North Faces, Kolon, and ABC Mart were analyzed. As the results, first, fashion corporate used Twitter as the marketing tool for their product promotion. Second, they tried to make an increase the numbers of Twitter follower from their customers. Third, Twitter was used for making higher customer loyalty by fashion corporate through a variety of program such as special events, game, music, or viral marketing. However, there were still some limitations on fashion corporate's Twitter usage, compared to other non-fashion corporate. Thus, fashion corporate needs to provide more creative and unique Twitter marketing strategies. Therefore, based on these results, fashion brand merchandising marketing strategies of fashion products would be provided from this study.

The Effect of Cultural Marketing Activities on a Corporate Brand Asset (문화마케팅 활동이 기업브랜드 자산에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper is about what is the effect of cultural marketing - which is affecting business ethics and social responsibility - on corporate image and formation of brand asset, and about which is getting more influence by cultural marketing among factors that is forming corporate image and brand asset. The results are like below. First, cultural marketing activities had an indirect influence on the corporate brand asset. Second, cultural marketing had an direct influence on the corporate brand image. Third, cultural marketing had a positive impact on reminding of the brand image. Fourth, social responsibility and business ethics had an indirect influence on the brand loyalty. Fifth, corporate social responsibility and business ethics had a positive impact on the brand image. Sixth, among the corporate social responsibility, community activities played a control variables. Seventh, regarding the characteristics of the respondents it showed that there's perception gaps among marketing, responsibility and ethics as well as brand assets. All in all, cultural marketing had an indirect effect on formulating corporate brand asset by the means of corporate image. The result is pointing out the importance of establishing a strategic marketing plan that is taking harmony between the character of cultural marketing and media, continuous and long-term plan, connection with the type of the brand asset into account. Moreover, as people realized that corporate business activities are brining not only economic consequences, such as providing goods and services but also social consequences, such as uneven distribution of wealth, dirty links between business and politics, consumers' security, pollution, and etc., companies are reconsidering its own role in society. This reconsideration is called corporate social responsibility and this pushed the company to keep business ethics together with their business.

Patterns of Corporate Cultural Marketing in Korea (기업의 문화마케팅 유형화)

  • Corporate business in today's domestic industry focuses on using of culture & arts as internal and external marketing strategies with increases number of business cases of implementing corporate cultural marketing. Despite certain demands for the systematic research of corporate cultural marketing, studies have not been sufficiently developed to meet industrial and academic demands. In some paper, studies on effectiveness of corporate cultural marketing have been examined. But the papers were only limited to a conceptual categorization of corporate cultural marketing. Therefore we intended to study patterns of corporate cultural marketing using actual corporate data and explore inter-relationship across the patterns and characteristics. As a result, Korean firms were categorized into four patterns as below: 1)Duty type, 2)Strategic Partner type, 3)Publicity type and 4)Event type. Also, We found that performance of Strategic Partner type was highest.

Effects of Ethical Management of Retail Enterprises in Korea on Corporate Image and Purchase Intention

  • Purpose - The study aims to investigate the effects of ethical management on corporate image and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - The study employs monthly time series data from October 2013 to November 2013, analyzing variables to verify hypotheses. These concern three questions on marketing communication, five on public interest business activities, four on donation & sponsorship, two on donation & sponsorship activities, six on corporate image, four on volunteer service, and five on demographic characteristics. Results - Hypothesis 1, "Ethical management in marketing communication, public interest business, donation & sponsorship, and volunteer service positively affects corporate image," was partially adopted with significant regression of marketing communication, public interest business activity, and donation & sponsorship. Hypothesis 2, "Ethical management such as marketing communication, public interest business, donation & sponsorship, and volunteer service positively affects purchase intention," was partially adopted with significant regression of marketing communication and public interest business. Hypothesis 3, "Corporate image positively affects purchase intention," was adopted at significant regression. Conclusions - Ethical management influenced purchase intention and corporate image.

A Study on the Expressive Characteristics in Multi Functional Corporate Culture Space of experiential marketing (체험마케팅에 의한 기업의 복합문화 공간 표현특성에 관한 연구)

  • This is the time we need differentiated strategy due to consumer's standard of purchasing is becoming more complicated and corporate marketing war is intensely competitive. For a long-term strategy, making competitive corporate image is important because companies have their own competitiveness. In addition, importance of having a relationship with customer is magnified through consumers'direct and indirect experience. "The corporate complex cultural space is designed place for experiential marketing to convey its meaning to consumers." Under above concept, this study analyzed the theory of experiential marketing and conducted a survey which is based on experiential marketing strategic module (SEMs) using the analyzed theory. This study drew expression characteristics of space through case analysis and conducted a survey to have more effective corporate complex cultural space. As a result, the experience in the space enables people to understand of the space through five senses, not consist of simply chucks of sense-date, and this result emphasizes the importance of 'Event' because people tend to escape from restriction for reality to relive stress and have emotional satisfaction. In addition, it shows expression characteristics which provide sympathy as a flexible interaction through symbolical image. The result of the expression characteristics' survey is showed up to improve effect of corporate complex cultural space. This study is analyzing the corporate complex cultural space through experience marketing for the company which wants provide differentiated experience of various space expression methods and catching current position. Also, this study places its significance to give a way to increase space preference and effect of corporate complex cultural space. Based on the result of this study, I hope the future corporate complex cultural space will develop refreshingly.

Impacts of Corporate Social Responsibility and Green Marketing Strategy on Business Performance: The Moderating Role of Balanced Scorecard

  • On the underpinning theory of the Resource Based Theory, this research examines the impact of corporate social responsibility and green marketing strategy on business performance with the moderating role balanced scorecard. Corporate social responsibility concentrates on related to government, the environment, customers, and employees. Green marketing strategy concentrates on approaches in terms of green products, green prices, green places, and green promotion. Business performance is measured by groups of indicators financial, and non-financial. The moderating role balanced the scorecard at the financial, customer, process, learning, and growth level. Research results with survey data from 419 managers at different food enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City processed through the structural analysis method, showed that corporate social responsibility has the strongest positive impact on business performance, followed by the green marketing strategy as the second strong positive impact on the business performance and results also showed that the balanced scorecard moderating role increases the level of the strong positive impact of the above relationship. Besides, it also showed the difference in the demographic control variables. Based on the findings, some implications are drawn to help the managers of enterprises improve the moderating role balanced scorecard when implementing corporate social responsibility and green marketing strategies thereby contributing to increasing business performance.
