  • e-PBL based on constructivism adopted PBL(Problem Based Learning) and WBI(Web Based Learning), and it becomes the advanced model of instruction to be achieved PBL on-line. In this thesis, I applied e-PBL to 'the changing weather' part in the high school earth science I, compared to the lecture centered instruction, and analyzed how it affected on. On the basis of these, this study predicts the applicability on the cooperative learning and self-directed learning in the high school and suggests the improving of the teaching-learning with the results. The following shows the conclusion with as the central result of research. Firstly, the instruction applied e-PBL proved more effective academic achievement than the lecture centered instruction. Secondly, the instruction applied e-PBL proved more effective on the improving self-directed learning ability. Thirdly, the instruction applied e-PBL proved more effective self-efficacy than the lecture centered instruction.

  • This study is to propose a communication strengthening teaching model using action learning for Spanish learners, and to verify its effectiveness through a case study of Spanish lessons. This study was conducted under the same conditions by dividing 91 students from September 1 to December 20, 2019 into experiment and control classes. As a result of the experiment, both classes improved their writing ability to some extent, but the learners in the experimental class applying action learning showed more meaningful results in terms of the content, expressions, fluency of the text, and the affective domain test also showed a significant difference. The development of this teaching model, which is necessary for learner-centered convergence activities, is expected to be of academic significance as it can be used for other foreign language class activities as well as improving Spanish communication.

  • Web-based distance teacher training should focus on increasing self-directed problem solving skills of trainers by problem-based instruction(PBL). Performance assessment evaluates achievement of learning goals through the practical performance learning to solve problems in the real situation. This study proposes a web-based performance assessment model for the distance teacher training. It reflects fairness and objectiveness issues of performance assessment which elementary teachers are concerned about through the survey on distance teacher training, and relieves instructors from overload of managing and scoring performance tests. The proposed model provides problem-based learning situations, interactions between individuals and groups, and web-based cooperative evaluation and the peer evaluation.

  • In this paper, we propose a deep learning model and inference pipeline that can process high-resolution fog video in real-time, addressing limitations found in classical defogging algorithms and existing deep learning-based defogging models. The key idea is separating the tasks of inferring fog color and estimating the amount of fog into two distinct models, allowing for a more efficient, lightweight design that improves inference speed. While many deep defogging models perform well on synthetic fog images, they suffer from reduced effectiveness on real-world fog images with diverse fog colors and backgrounds. We solve this problem by introducing a synthetic fog dataset generation method tailored for real-world conditions. Through experiments, we demonstrate the increase in visible distance achieved by proposed model and compare its inference speed and defogging performance against pre-trained models on real-world CCTV fog images.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the value of global citizenship and cooperative learning, and one of the effective ways to educate citizens around the world is to present a Co-op Co-op model for cooperation, which can be used in social studies class in secondary schools. While the need and importance of global citizenship education is emerging as a way to respond to the rapid globalization, there is still a lack of research on the teaching programs available at secondary schools. Therefore, through theoretical discussions, this paper identified diversity, cooperation with others, respect for democratic processes, active participation, and responsibility for global issues as key values of global citizenship. Based on this, class programs were developed and presented based on the first unit of social studies in secondary school 『Human rights and constitutional』 unit using Co-op Co-op among various cooperative learning models. The contents to be modified and supplemented by asking a group of experts from current teachers to review the program to ensure the validity and reliability of the class program developed in this study.

  • The aim of this paper is to develop a network-based collaborative learning system based on cooperative learning, computer simulation, role playing, and web-based instruction, which is called NetClass. It is an educational system of hybrid-type, and supports three learning modes as a distributed network, a stand-alone system, or a web browser. To accomplish the purpose of this paper, we have studied on the following topics. First, we selected appropriate learning contents among dilemmas on information ethics. Second, a Collaborative Dilemma-solving Learning Model (CDLM) was designed, and this model means systematic procedures that leaners can notice others' feeling and thinking and predict the results of his actions by introducing interactions among learners on computer networks. Third, Collaborative Learning System Model based on standard architecture of an educational system was proposed. Fourth, we developed many components such as network components, database components, and interface components.

  • It is very important to learn behavioral policies that allow multiple agents to work together organically for common goals in various real-world applications. In this multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) environment, most existing studies have adopted centralized training with decentralized execution (CTDE) methods as in effect standard frameworks. However, this multi-agent reinforcement learning method is difficult to effectively cope with in a dynamic environment in which new environmental changes that are not experienced during training time may constantly occur in real life situations. In order to effectively cope with this dynamic environment, this paper proposes a novel multi-agent reinforcement learning system, C-COMA. C-COMA is a continual learning model that assumes actual situations from the beginning and continuously learns the cooperative behavior policies of agents without dividing the training time and execution time of the agents separately. In this paper, we demonstrate the effectiveness and excellence of the proposed model C-COMA by implementing a dynamic mini-game based on Starcraft II, a representative real-time strategy game, and conducting various experiments using this environment.

  • The educational exchange through e-learning is working very well in such case as develop e-learning, development of various learning tools, cooperative practical use of e-learning contents, etc. However because there were no considerations of LMS(Learning Management System) interconnection when each systems were developed, the exchange through e-learning is starting to raise a problem. Especially the exchange through e-learning between university produced problem for a variety of reasons by absence of direct exchange in every case such as communication of students information, communication of lecture information, etc. Hence in this thesis, I will present designed model about efficient LMS interconnection through analysis case of exchange through e-learning and deduce problem. In the first place I define essential part for study such as lecture establishment data, lecture data, user data, class data, student learning tracking to interconnection data, then constituted data interconnection table used view by data interconnection prcess. By experiment result, the accessibility between students and professors was more convenience, and decreased work process by less data exchange. Henceforth there are researches in development of various essential parts for study, considered security of LMS interconnection.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze domestic and overseas cases of flipped learning instructional design model and actual classes in K-12 Education, and find out educational implications in order to design effective flipped learning. Papers, 14 articles in domestic and international journals, were collected. As results of the analysis, first, flipped learning instructional model was presented as flipped learning that applied to ADDIE model and 8C model etc. Second, 'Activities before classroom' consisted of watching lecture videos, lecture notes etc. 'Activities during classroom' was checking prior learning in early stage, individual activities and cooperative activities in middle stage, and solving quizzes, reviewing in later stage. After class, students performed tasks and questions&answers. Third, in case of creating lecture video, they used application such as Screencast-o-matic, Explain Everything; In contrast, some cases utilized online web-sites such as YouTube or Phet. Fourth, positive results were shown in learners' academic achievement, motivation and learning attitude etc. This research has a significance in terms of analyzing the flipped learning instructional model and flipped learning activities, and providing the preliminary data to facilitate the design for the effective flipped learning.
