An emphasized analysis and reviews on the progress of pesticide managements for the past 10 years through the statistics in Korea are summarized in this continued studies in connection with the fundmental aspects and direction of advanced pesticide industry and improved plantprotection policies for 1980's. Remarkable development and changes are observed in the plant species and varieties, plantation practices and production techniques as well as pest infestations and controls in the last decade, but no normal achievement and operations are recognised on the pesticide management and marketing system especially. Realistic plant protection adminstration and pesticide regulations in accordance to the industrial modernization and pest management advancement must be adjusted in accordance with national economic progress and desirable agricultural structure for 1980's. Special considerations are stated on the strengthening of research and inspection program for the quality products and control with the efficacy and safety use of pesticides. More serious attentions are noted on the over production and flooded stocks under struggled market demands and sales competitions with lethal financial difficulties by producers. Through the status analyzed for the last decade, the integrated past management and cooperative basic control pattern under positive self-forecasting system by farmers are also urged for the effective and economic pest control measures. The problems and solutions discussed here ell the advanced pesticide management as well as the cooperation on the self-ordered quality control and market managing systems in 1980's as it is a desired projection for the further improvement. Most of outstanding and necessary statistics and data in the past decade are also summarized here for references in connection with the previous report.
Professional nurse Autonomy is an essential attribute of a discipline striving for full professional status. Purpose: This study was to clarify the concept of professional nurse autonomy to provide basic data needed for development of professional autonomy enhancing strategies. Method: This study use the process of Walker & Avante's concept analysis based on Wade's research (1999), and field data of 21 nurses. Results: Professional nurse autonomy is defined as competency and creative performance of the professional nurse in practice, to decide independently or interdependently nursing activities and to be had accountable for results of decisions, that reflect advocacy and caring. It was identified that critical attributes include responsible discretionary decision making, collegial interdependence, initiative, creativity, and caring, advocacy, cooperative relationship with clients, receptive capacity to others, activeness, self confidence, and devotion and responsibility to their profession. Antecedents include personal characteristics, educational background, experience and structural characteristics that enhance professional nurse autonomy. Consequences of professional nurse autonomy are feelings of self-efficacy, empowerment, job satisfaction, reduction of intention to leave their job. Conclusion: According to these results, it is recommended that the curriculum provides an environment for learning professional nurse autonomy, and that is used as basic data to develope strategies to enhance professional autonomy of nurse in practice and it's effects

The mission of the university is to grow young people who will be responsible for the next generation nation to mature society. In particular, the role of universities in the 4th Industrial Revolution era is to foster creative talents. Therefore, innovative changes are required for existing infusion education and employment-oriented college education contents and teaching methodology. In the high youth unemployment rate, entrepreneurship education is spreading to universities to innovate existing organizations and create new jobs. Until now, however, the effects of university entrepreneurship education have been studied mainly in the field of start-up. Therefore, it is very difficult to study various effects on entrepreneurship education. In this study, empirical analysis of the effect of entrepreneurship training on career preparation behaviors of university students who are about to enter the society is verified. The sample of this study was surveyed from August, 2016, and the questionnaire was applied to 393 university students who selected 5 universities and entrepreneurship education. As a result of the analysis, the ability of communicative communication and creative problem solving cultivated through entrepreneurship education had a positive effect on entrepreneurship and self - efficacy, Entrepreneurship and self - efficacy had a positive (+) positive effect on career preparation behavior. However, cooperative communication ability, creative problem solving ability, and effective work behavior ability by entrepreneurship education were not directly related to career preparation behavior. On the other hand, in verifying the mediating effect of entrepreneurship and self - efficacy, it proved that mediating role of positive communication between collaborative communication ability, creative problem solving ability and career preparation behavior. The implications of this study are as follows This study examines the effects of university entrepreneurship education on career preparedness behaviors.In other words, the university proved the direct effect and the mediating effect that affects positively (+) effect on career preparation behaviors by encouraging entrepreneurship and self - efficacy, rather than quantitative extension based on competency. Also, the implication of the parameters (entrepreneurship, self - efficacy) as a key variable for the effect and performance of career preparation behavior was derived.It also suggests that it is necessary to improve the creativity ability of entrepreneurship education so that it can have a direct and meaningful influence on career preparation behavior. First of all, it is urgent to develop a qualitative evaluation index for entrepreneurship education in order to measure these effects. Therefore, further study is required to verify the various implications for future entrepreneurship education, as well as the implications that entrepreneurship education is indispensable for the preparation of university students' careers.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the trend of domestic studies related to science teaching-learning methods. We reviewed articles published according to year, method, subjects and topic. The methods reported commonly in science education books were extracted. Experiment, cooperative learning, and discussion were methods which had been researched widely. Experimental study of them was utilized most. And next content analysis, survey, and case study were utilized much. The most object of experimental study was middle school students. These reviewed papers showed effects which were related to science achievement, attitude, inquiry ability and self-efficacy. As a result of this study we should research to apply and develop science teaching-learning methods variously. We ought to enlarge research direction to analyze context which applies science teaching-learning methods to educational field by qualitative study. We should try to study effects of teaching-learning methods longitudinally and latitudinally.
The purpose of this study is to propose a teaching and learning model that can effectively manage convergence education, which is one of the concerns of university education, at the level of course. The pre-collaborative instructional design stage is to prepare the operation of the convergence project course. It shares the common goal and establishes a team of relevant professors to set up the actual convergence project topic and establishes cooperation relationships with industry or community as needed. In the convergence project activity, students will be able to understand the learning objectives, learning activities, evaluation methods, and explain the subject of the convergence project by proceeding with the whole orientation. Students organize teams of interest and conduct learning and design activities on convergence technologies and present their results. In the educational improvement activities, professors will share the lesson process and results and discuss improvements through the improvement seminar. As a result of analyzing the effectiveness of the proposed convergence project based teaching and learning model, the convergence project experience has improved the cooperative self - efficacy for the learners and the results were confirmed that students perceived to achieve the expected learning goal and satisfied with their experience.

This study was planned to provide basic data for activating quality improvement by genera hospital with more than 400 beds across the country, of which 65 coordinators answered. Main results of the study are as follows.. 1. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment by individual characteristics were compared. It was revealed that the sense of self-efficacy was related to job satisfaction positively. But job satisfaction and organizational commitment by locus of control showed no significant difference. 2. In terms of the characteristics of QI activities, the active participation of QI coordinators in QI planning process and smooth communication among hospital staffs were showed positive relationship to job satisfaction significantly. 3. Also support system was proposed as most significant variable related to the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment of QI coordinators. Especially support to QI activities by CEO's, seniors, and other hospital staff was a factor to enhance the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of QI coordinators. 4. In the aspect of organizational culture, culture which were tendency to be recognized high autonomy in their work and organizational identity strongly and to operate reasonable compensation system were related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment positively. The more formalized climate, supportive communication, cooperative teamwork and promoting creative/risk take behavior, it showed the higher organizational commitment. 5. For the aspect of QI job characteristics, QI coordinators' job satisfaction was high when QI office was arranged for independent department which was exclusively in charge of QI activities and their role is exclusively in charge of QI. It can be concluded that organizational support in the aspect of relation and finance and efforts of encouraging their motivation and providing on the job training program are need.
This study aims to prove the value of convergence-based mobile English curriculum for English education prior to its practical use. This is deferent from the existing studies in developing and studying a curriculum using an English program loaded in mobile to make an effective English learning. In order to find out how well teachers are aware of this curriculum, we performed qualitative researches. Some English teachers asked for feedback about the curriculum gave us positive feedback in most areas such as learning authentic English, repetition effects, cooperative learning, self-efficacy experience, and so on. As a negative feedback, they were afraid of students' easy and free attitudes because of the new learning environments. This problem can be solved by the very close communications between teacher and student through on and off line. Next time applying this curriculum to the field and analyzing will be expected.

This study was conducted to design and apply simulation-based problem-based learning classes, and then analyze the effects of class management using focus group interviews. In paramedicine, practical learning that can respond to various emergency situations based on major knowledge is important. In the case of problem-based learning classes, it is suitable for operating various topics covered by the Department of Paramedicine as it can improve capabilities such as problem-solving strategies, skills, and teamwork by providing practicality related to field situations for learning. This study developed a PBL module focusing on patients with dyspnea and applied it to medical emergencies and practice courses taken by 16 third graders of S University's Paramedicine department. Overall class satisfaction was high from 4.76 to 4.92. In particular, by resetting the learning strategy through PBL classes and experiencing cooperative learning, positive learning outcomes could be obtained and self-efficacy was experienced.
The objective of the present study is to systematically examine the effects of on the cognitive and affective domains of elementary, middle, and high school students by conducting a meta-analysis. To this end, this study selected 31 research papers that had analyzed the effects of applying, and performed a meta-analysis of the findings presented in each research paper. The results obtained from the meta-analysis are presented as follows. First, both the collaborative learning program and the peer tutoring program for underachieving students in math manifested an above average size of effect in the cognitive domain. In particular, the effect was the greatest at the elementary school level, and out of the two programs, peer tutoring was identified to have a sizable effect. Second, both programs displayed an above average size of effect in the affective domain, and peer tutoring was identified to have a higher effect than collaborative learning. In addition, when the programs were compared based on school levels, the size of effect was highest at the elementary school level followed by middle school and high school, in that order. When compared based on the criteria of the affective domain, self-efficacy in math, learners' attitude toward math, and learners' interest in math were identified to. Finally, this study presented suggestions for teaching underachieving students in math and conducting follow-up studies based on the analysis results.
This study intends to investigate the empowerment experience of parents in poverty with a specific focus on those who participated in the We Start case management program. Focus group and individual interviews were conducted to collect the data. Study results are as follows. First, the empowerment stages were found to be 'being isolated and powerless at a dead-end', 'solving the problem together while receiving attention and respect', 'raising children with hope', and 'actively engaging with the world'. Second, the meaning of empowerment for parents in poverty was 'actively engaging with the world by raising children with hope'. Third, the results of empowerment were improved self-efficacy, improved relationships with children, improved cooperative relationship with the service provider, and participation in self-help groups and volunteer activities in the community. Fourth, empowerment process started through the 'development of trust relationship with service provider and getting help', and 'change in children.' Fifth, active formation of relationships with help professionals and provision of correct information facilitated parents' empowerment. Based on the study results, several suggestions were made for practitioners to empower parents in poverty.
